Isaiah 2
1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
Ang mga butang nga nakita ni Isaias ang anak nga lalaki ni Amoz, mahitungod sa Juda ug Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the end of days, [that] the mountain of Jehovah's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and all the nations shall flow unto it.
Mahitabo kini sa kataposang mga adlaw nga pagatukoron ang bukid sa balay ni Yahweh ingon nga pinakataas nga kabukiran, ug mobarog kini ibabaw sa kabungtoran, ug modagayday ang tanang kanasoran niini.
3 And many peoples shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and Jehovah's word from Jerusalem.
Daghang mga tawo nga moabot ug moingon, “Dali motungas kita sa bukid ni Yahweh, ngadto sa balay sa Dios ni Jacob, aron tudloan niya kita sa iyang mga paagi, ug molakaw kita sa iyang mga dalan.” Kay gikan sa Zion mogula ang kasugoan, ug ang pulong ni Yahweh gikan sa Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall reprove many peoples; and they shall forge their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning-knives: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Hukman niya ang mga nasod ug magbuot alang sa daghang katawhan; himoon nila ang ilang mga espada ug mga lipya sa daro, ug himoon nila ang ilang mga bangkaw ug mga garab; dili na makigbatok ang nasod sa laing nasod, ni magbansay pa alang sa gubat.
5 House of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.
Dali balay ni Jacob, manglakaw kita diha sa kahayag ni Yahweh.
6 For thou hast cast off thy people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled [with what comes] from the east, and use auguries like the Philistines, and ally themselves with the children of foreigners.
Kay imong gibiyaan ang imong katawhan, ang balay ni Jacob, kay napuno sila sa mga pamatasan nga gikan sa sidlakan ug mga mananagna sama sa mga Filistihanon, ug nagkumusta sila sa mga anak nga lalaki sa mga langyaw.
7 And their land is full of silver and gold, and there is no end of their treasures: their land also is full of horses, and there is no end of their chariots.
Napuno sa plata ug bulawan ang ilang yuta, ug walay kataposan ang ilang bahandi; napuno usab sa mga kabayo ang ilang yuta, walay kataposan ang ilang mga karwahe.
8 And their land is full of idols; they bow themselves down to the work of their own hands, to that which their fingers have made.
Napuno usab sa mga diosdios ang ilang yuta; nagsimba sila sa binuhat sa ilang kaugalingong mga kamot, mga butang nga gibuhat mismo sa ilang mga kamot.
9 And the mean man shall be bowed down, and the great man shall be brought low: and do not thou forgive them!
Manghapa ang katawhan, ug mangatumba ang matag usa; busa ayaw sila patindoga.
10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty.
Pag-adto sa batoon nga mga dapit ug tago ilalom sa yuta gikan sa kasuko ni Yahweh ug gikan sa himaya sa iyang pagkahalangdon.
11 The lofty eyes of man shall be brought low, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.
Ipaubos ang mapahitas-ong tinan-awan sa tawo, ug ipaubos ang mga tawo nga garboso, ug si Yahweh lamang ang ibayaw nianang adlawa.
12 For there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon everything proud and lofty, and upon everything lifted up, and it shall be brought low;
Kay adunay adlaw si Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom batok sa tanan nga mga garboso ug mapalabilabihon, ug sa tanan nga mga mapahitas-on—ug ipaubos niya sila—
13 and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan;
ug batok sa tanang mga sedro sa Lebanon nga taas ug labong, ug batok sa tanang mga akasya sa Basan.
14 and upon all the lofty mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up;
Sa adlaw ni Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom batok kini sa tanang tag-as nga kabukiran, ug batok sa tanang kabungtoran nga tinuboy,
15 and upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall;
ug batok sa matag taas nga tore, ug batok sa matag salipdanan nga paril,
16 and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant works of art.
ug batok sa tanang mga sakayang pandagat sa Tarshis, ug batok sa tanang matahom nga mga sakayang pandagat.
17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day:
Ipaubos ang garbo sa tawo, ug mapukan ang pagkamapasigarbohon sa mga tawo; si Yahweh lamang ang ibayaw nianang adlawa.
18 and the idols shall utterly pass away.
Mahanaw sa hingpit ang mga diosdios.
19 And they shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he shall arise to terrify the earth.
Gikan sa kahadlok kang Yahweh, ug gikan sa himaya sa iyang pagkahalangdon, moadto ang mga tawo sa mga langob diha sa mga bato ug sa mga bangag diha sa yuta, sa dihang mobarog siya sa paglisang sa kalibotan.
20 In that day men shall cast away their idols of silver and their idols of gold, which they made [each] for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
Nianang adlawa isalikway sa katawhan ang ilang mga diosdios nga plata ug bulawan nga ilang gibuhat aron ilang simbahon—ilabay nila kini ngadto sa mga ilaga ug mga kabog.
21 to go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the fissures of the cliffs, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he shall arise to terrify the earth.
Gikan sa kahadlok kang Yahweh ug gikan sa himaya sa iyang pagkahalangdon, moadto ang mga tawo sa mga bangag diha sa mga bato ug ngadto sa gansalgansalon nga mga bato, sa dihang mobarog siya aron sa paglisang sa kalibotan.
22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for what account is to be made of him?
Undanga ang pagsalig sa tawo, nga nabuhi pinaagi sa pagginhawa, kay unsa man ang iyang bili?
