Isaiah 19
1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, Jehovah rideth upon a swift cloud, and cometh to Egypt; and the idols of Egypt are moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt melteth in the midst of it.
೧ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿ. ಇಗೋ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ವೇಗವಾದ ಮೇಘವಾಹನವಾಗಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವನು. ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾದಾಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ನಡುಗುವವು. ಐಗುಪ್ತರ ಹೃದಯವು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಕರಗಿ ನೀರಾಗುವುದು.
2 And I will incite the Egyptians against the Egyptians; and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, kingdom against kingdom.
೨“ಐಗುಪ್ತರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವೆನು: ಸಹೋದರನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಸಹೋದರನು, ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನೆರೆಯವನೂ, ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣವೂ, ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯವೂ ಹೋರಾಡುವವು.
3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst of it, and I will destroy the counsel thereof; and they shall seek unto the idols and unto the conjurers, and unto the necromancers, and unto the soothsayers.
೩ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅಂತರಾತ್ಮವು ಬರಿದಾಗುವುದು. ಅದರ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರು ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರನ್ನೂ, ಪ್ರೇತವಿಚಾರಕರನ್ನೂ, ಬೇತಾಳಿಕರನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸುವರು.
4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord, and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, Jehovah of hosts.
೪ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕ್ರೂರವಾದ ಒಡೆಯನ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು. ಭಯಂಕರನಾದ ರಾಜನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಳುವನು” ಎಂದು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
5 And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up;
೫ಮಹಾನದಿಯ ನೀರು ಬತ್ತಿಹೋಗುವುದು. ನದಿಗಳ ತೀರಗಳು ಇಂಗಿ ಒಣಗುವುದು.
6 and the rivers shall stink, and the streams of Egypt shall be diminished and drain away: the reeds and sedges shall wither.
೬ಕಾಲುವೆಗಳು ನಾರುವವು. ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಹೊಳೆಗಳು ಇಳಿದು, ನೀರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಗುವವು. ಆಪು ಮತ್ತು ಜಂಬುಹುಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಬಾಡುವವು.
7 The meadows by the Nile, on the banks of the Nile, and everything sown by the Nile, shall be dried up, be driven away, and be no [more].
೭ನೈಲ್ ನದಿಯ ತೀರ, ನೈಲ್ ನದಿಯ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಬಯಲುಗಳು, ನೈಲ್ ನದಿಯ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತಿದ ಹೊಲಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಒಣಗಿ, ಗಾಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಮಾಯವಾಗುವವು.
8 And the fishers shall mourn, and all they that cast fish-hook into the Nile shall lament, and they that spread net upon the waters shall languish.
೮ಬೆಸ್ತರು ದುಃಖಿಸುವರು ಮತ್ತು ನೈಲ್ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಳ ಹಾಕುವವರು ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸುವರು. ನೀರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲೆ ಬೀಸುವವರು ಕುಗ್ಗಿ ಹೋಗುವರು.
9 And they that work in fine flax, and they that weave white stuffs shall be ashamed.
೯ನಯವಾದ ಸೆಣಬಿನ ಕೆಲಸದವರೂ, ಬಿಳಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ನೇಯುವವರೂ ಹತಾಶರಾಗುವರು.
10 And her pillars shall be broken in pieces, and all workers for hire shall be sad of soul.
೧೦ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ನೇಯುವವರೂ ನಿರಾಶರಾಗುವರು. ಕೂಲಿಯವರು ಮನಮರಗುವರು.
11 They are but fools, the princes of Zoan, the wise counsellors of Pharaoh: [their] counsel is become senseless. How say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?
೧೧ಚೋಯನಿನ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ಕೇವಲ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರು. ಫರೋಹನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯೂ ಜ್ಞಾನರಹಿತವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ನೀನು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಸಂತಾನದವನು, ಪುರಾತನ ರಾಜನ ವಂಶದವನು? ಎಂದು ಹೇಗೆ ತಾನೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
12 Where are they then, thy wise [men]? Let them now tell thee, and let them make known what Jehovah of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.
೧೨ನಿನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿ ಹೇಳಲಿ. ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಅರಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
13 The princes of Zoan are become foolish, the princes of Noph are deceived; and the corner-stones of its tribes have caused Egypt to err.
೧೩ಚೋಯನಿನ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ಮೂರ್ಖರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನೋಫಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಮೋಸ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಕುಲಗಳ ಪ್ರಮುಖರು ಅದನ್ನು ಭ್ರಮೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
14 Jehovah hath mingled a spirit of perverseness in the midst thereof; and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunkard staggereth in his vomit.
೧೪ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವರ ಅಂತರಾತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಕ್ರಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅಮಲೇರಿದವನು ಕಕ್ಕುತ್ತಾ ಓಡಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಐಗುಪ್ತವು ತನ್ನ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಓಲಾಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
15 Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, palm-branch or rush, may do.
೧೫ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆಯಾಗಲಿ, ಬಾಲವಾಗಲಿ, ಖರ್ಜೂರದ ಕೊಂಬೆಯಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಹುಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸವೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women; and it shall tremble and fear because of the shaking of the hand of Jehovah of hosts, which he shaketh over it.
೧೬ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ಅಶ್ರಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ಹೆಂಗಸರ ಹಾಗೆ ಭಯಗ್ರಸ್ತರಾಗಿರುವರು. ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಬೀಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ನಡುಗುವರು.
17 And the land of Judah shall be a dismay unto Egypt: every one that thinketh of it shall be afraid for himself, because of the counsel of Jehovah of hosts, which he hath purposed against it.
೧೭ಐಗುಪ್ತವು ಬೆಚ್ಚಿಬೀಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶವೇ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುವುದು. ಈ ದೇಶದ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕೂಲವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಬೆರಗಾಗುವನು.
18 In that day shall there be five cities in the land of Egypt speaking the language of Canaan, and swearing by Jehovah of hosts: one shall be called, The city of Heres.
೧೮ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಕ್ತರೆಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿ, ಕಾನಾನಿನ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಆಡುವವರಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಐದು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವವು. ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದರ ಹೆಸರು “ನಾಶಪುರ.”
19 In that day shall there be an altar to Jehovah in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to Jehovah:
೧೯ಅ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಯಜ್ಞಪೀಠವು, ದೇಶದ ಮೇರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸ್ತಂಭವೂ ಇರುವುದು.
20 and it shall be for a sign and for a witness to Jehovah of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they shall cry unto Jehovah because of the oppressors, and he will send them a saviour and defender, who shall deliver them.
೨೦ಅವು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಗುರುತಾಗಿಯೂ, ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವವು. ಹಿಂಸಕರ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡುವ ಶೂರನಾದ ರಕ್ಷಕನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುವನು.
21 And Jehovah shall be known to the Egyptians, and the Egyptians shall know Jehovah in that day, and shall serve with sacrifice and oblation; and they shall vow a vow unto Jehovah, and perform it.
೨೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಲು, ಅವರು ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು ಮತ್ತು ಯಜ್ಞನೈವೇದ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವರು. ಹೌದು, ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವರು.
22 And Jehovah will smite Egypt; he will smite and heal: and they shall return to Jehovah, and he will be entreated of them, and will heal them.
೨೨ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಐಗುಪ್ತವನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯುವನು. ಗಾಯಮಾಡಿ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವವನಾಗಿಯೇ ಹೊಡೆಯುವನು. ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಆತನು ಅವರ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುವನು.
23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria; and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria; and Egypt shall serve with Assyria.
೨೩ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಲು ರಾಜಮಾರ್ಗವಿರುವುದು. ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ಯರು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೂ, ಐಗುಪ್ತರು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಬರುವರು. ಐಗುಪ್ತರು ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವರು.
24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth;
೨೪ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಐಗುಪ್ತ, ಅಶ್ಶೂರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮೂರನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಬೆರೆತು ಲೋಕದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ನಿಧಿಯಾಗಿರುವುದು.
25 whom Jehovah of hosts will bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance!
೨೫“ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾದ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೂ, ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಕ್ಕೂ, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೂ ಶುಭವಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವನು.
