Isaiah 18
1 Ha! land shadowing with wings, which art beyond the rivers of Cush,
सुस्केराको आवाज निकाल्ने देशलाई धिक्कार, जुन कु्सका नदीहरूसँगै छ ।
2 that sendest ambassadors over the sea, and in vessels of papyrus upon the waters, [saying, ] Go, swift messengers, to a nation scattered and ravaged, to a people terrible from their existence and thenceforth; to a nation of continued waiting and of treading down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
जसले नरकटका डुङ्गाहरूमा समुद्रहुँदै राजदूतहरू पठाउँछ । हे फुर्तिला दूतहरू, सबै अग्ला र चिल्ला जातिकहाँ जाओ, टाढा नजिकका मानिसलाई डराउनेहरू, एउटा बलियो र विजयी जाति जसको देशलाई नदीहरूले विभाजन गर्छ ।
3 All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, when a banner is lifted up on the mountains, see ye, and when a trumpet is blown, hear ye!
तिमीहरू संसारका सबै बासिन्दाहरू र पृथ्वीमा बसोवास गर्ने, तिमीहरू जब डाँडाहरूमाथि चिन्ह उठाइन्छ, तब हेर । अनि जब तुरही बजाइन्छ तब सुन ।
4 For thus hath Jehovah said unto me: I will take my rest, and I will observe from my dwelling-place like clear heat upon herbs, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.
परमप्रभुले मलाई यसो भन्नुभयो, “चर्को घामको उखुम तापजस्तै, कटानीको तापमा कुहिरोजस्तै म आफ्नो घरबाट शान्त भएर हेर्नेछु ।
5 For before the harvest, when the blossoming is over, and the flower becometh a ripening grape, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning-knives, and take away [and] cut down the branches.
कटनीअगि फूल फुल्ने समय सिद्धिएपछि र फूल दाख हुँदैगर्दा, उहाँले छाँट्ने हँसियाहरूले छाँट्नुहुनेछ र उहाँले फैलिरहेको हाँगाहरूलाई काट्नुहुनेछ र लानुहुनेछ ।
6 They shall be left together unto the mountain birds of prey, and to the beasts of the earth; and the birds of prey shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
डाँडाका चराहरू र पृथ्वीका जनावरहरूका निम्ति ती छोडिनेछन् । चराहरूले ग्रीष्मको समय तिनीहरूमा बिताउनेछन् र पृथ्वीका सबै जनावरहरूले तिनीहरूमा हिउँद बिताउनेछन् ।”
7 In that time shall a present be brought unto Jehovah of hosts of a people scattered and ravaged, — and from a people terrible from their existence and thenceforth, a nation of continued waiting and of treading down, whose land the rivers have spoiled, ...to the place of the name of Jehovah of hosts, the mount Zion.
त्यस दिन अग्ला र चिल्ला मानिसहरूले, टाढा नजिकका मानिसलाई डराउनेहरू, बलिया र विजयीले सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुलाई उपहार ल्याउने छन्, जसको देशलाई नदीहरूले विभाजन गर्छन्, तिनीहरूले सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुको नाउँ भएको सियोन पर्वतमा ल्याउनेछन् ।
