Isaiah 15

1 The burden of Moab: For in the night of being laid waste, Ar of Moab is destroyed; for in the night of being laid waste, Kir of Moab is destroyed!

۱ وحی درباره موآب: زیرا که در شبی عار موآب خراب وهلاک شده است زیرا در شبی قیر موآب خراب وهلاک شده است.

2 He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, to the high places, to weep; Moab howleth over Nebo, and over Medeba; on all their heads is baldness, every beard is cut off.

۲ به بتکده و دیبون به مکان های بلند به جهت گریستن برآمده‌اند. موآب برای نبوو میدبا ولوله می‌کند. بر سر هریکی از ایشان گری است و ریشهای همه تراشیده شده است.

3 In their streets they are girded with sackcloth; on their roofs, and in their broadways, every one howleth, melted into tears.

۳ درکوچه های خود کمر خود را به پلاس می‌بندند وبر پشت بامها و در چهارسوهای خود هرکس ولوله می‌نماید و اشکها می‌ریزد.

4 And Heshbon crieth, and Elealeh: their voice is heard unto Jahaz. Therefore the armed men of Moab cry out: his soul trembleth in him.

۴ و حشبون والعاله فریاد برمی آورند. آواز ایشان تا یاهص مسموع می‌شود. بنابراین مسلحان موآب ناله می‌کنند و جان ایشان در ایشان می‌لرزد.

5 My heart crieth out for Moab; their fugitives [have fled] unto Zoar, unto Eglath-Sheli-shijah: for by the ascent of Luhith, with weeping they go up by it; for in the way of Horonaim they raise up a cry of destruction.

۵ دل من به جهت موآب فریاد برمی آورد. فراریانش تا به صوغر و عجلت شلشیا نعره می‌زنند زیرا که ایشان به فراز لوحیت با گریه برمی آیند. زیرا که از راه حورونایم صدای هلاکت برمی آورند.

6 For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate; for the herbage is withered away, the grass hath failed, there is no green thing.

۶ زیرا که آبهای نمریم خراب شده، چونکه علف خشکیده و گیاه تلف شده و هیچ‌چیز سبز باقی نمانده است.

7 Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, do they carry away to the torrent of the willows.

۷ بنابراین دولتی را که تحصیل نموده‌اند و اندوخته های خود را بر وادی بیدها می‌برند.

8 For the cry goeth round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beer-elim.

۸ زیرا که فریادایشان حدود موآب را احاطه نموده و ولوله ایشان تا اجلایم و ولوله ایشان تا بئر ایلیم رسیده است.

9 For the waters of Dimon are full of blood, for I will lay yet more upon Dimon: a lion upon them that are escaped of Moab, and upon that which remaineth of the land.

۹ چونکه آبهای دیمون از خون پر شده زانرو که بر دیمون (بلایای ) زیاد خواهم آوردیعنی شیری را بر فراریان موآب و بر بقیه زمینش (خواهم گماشت ).
