Isaiah 12

1 And in that day thou shalt say, Jehovah, I will praise thee; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.

Et tu diras en ce jour-là: Je vous glorifierai. Seigneur, parce que vous avez été irrité contre moi; mais votre fureur s’est tournée, et vous m’avez consolé.

2 Behold, God is my salvation: I will trust, and not be afraid; for Jah, Jehovah, is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation.

Voilà que Dieu est mon sauveur, j’agirai avec confiance, et je ne craindrai pas, parce que ma force et ma louange, c’est le Seigneur, et qu’il est devenu mon salut.

3 And with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

Vous puiserez avec joie des eaux des fontaines du Sauveur;

4 And in that day shall ye say, Give ye thanks to Jehovah, call upon his name, declare his deeds among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted.

Et vous direz en ce jour-là: Glorifiez le Seigneur, et invoquez son nom; faites connaître parmi les nations ses œuvres; souvenez-vous que sublime est son nom.

5 Sing psalms of Jehovah, for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Chantez le Seigneur, il a agi avec magnificence; annoncez cela dans toute la terre.

6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitress of Zion; for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

Exulte et loue, habitation de Sion, parce que grand est au milieu de toi le saint d’Israël.
