Isaiah 12

1 And in that day thou shalt say, Jehovah, I will praise thee; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.

En ce jour-là, tu diras: « Je te louerai, Yahvé, car tu t'es mis en colère contre moi, mais ta colère s'est détournée et tu m'as consolé.

2 Behold, God is my salvation: I will trust, and not be afraid; for Jah, Jehovah, is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation.

Voici, Dieu est mon salut. Je me confie, je ne crains rien, car Yahvé est ma force et mon chant, et il est mon salut ».

3 And with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

C'est donc avec joie que vous puiserez de l'eau aux puits du salut.

4 And in that day shall ye say, Give ye thanks to Jehovah, call upon his name, declare his deeds among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted.

En ce jour-là, vous direz: « Rendez grâce à Yahvé! Invoquez son nom! Annoncez ses exploits parmi les peuples! Proclamez que son nom est exalté!

5 Sing psalms of Jehovah, for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Chantez à Yahvé, car il a fait des choses excellentes! Qu'on le sache par toute la terre!

6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitress of Zion; for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

Criez à haute voix et poussez des cris, habitants de Sion, car le Saint d'Israël est grand au milieu de vous! »
