Hosea 5
1 Hear this, ye priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ear, O house of the king: for this judgment is for you; for ye have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
౧యాజకులారా, నామాట వినండి. ఇశ్రాయేలు వంశమా, శ్రద్ధగా విను. రాజ వంశమా, విను. మీరు మిస్పా మీద ఉరిగా, తాబోరు మీద వలగా ఉన్నారు. కాబట్టి మీ అందరిపైకీ తీర్పు రాబోతున్నది.
2 And they have plunged themselves in the corruption of apostasy, but I will be a chastiser of them all.
౨తిరుగుబాటుదారులు తీవ్రంగా వధ జరిగించారు. కాబట్టి నేను వారందరినీ శిక్షిస్తాను.
3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me; for now, Ephraim, thou hast committed whoredom; Israel is defiled.
౩ఎఫ్రాయిమును నేనెరుగుదును. ఇశ్రాయేలువారు నాకు తెలియని వారు కారు. ఎఫ్రాయిమూ, నీవు ఇప్పుడే వేశ్యవయ్యావు. ఇశ్రాయేలువారు మైలబడి పోయారు.
4 Their doings do not allow them to return unto their God; for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they know not Jehovah.
౪వారు నా దగ్గరికి రాకుండా వారి క్రియలు అడ్డుపడుతున్నాయి. వారిలో వ్యభిచార మనసుంది. నన్ను, అంటే యెహోవాను వారు ఎరుగరు.
5 And Israel's pride doth testify to his face; and Israel and Ephraim shall fall by their iniquity: Judah also shall fall with them.
౫ఇశ్రాయేలు వారి గర్వం వారికి వ్యతిరేకంగా సాక్ష్యమిస్తున్నది. ఇశ్రాయేలు వారు, ఎఫ్రాయిము వారు తమ దోషంలో చిక్కుకుపోయి తొట్రుపడుతున్నారు. వారితోబాటు యూదావారు కూడా తొట్రిల్లుతున్నారు.
6 They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek Jehovah; but they shall not find [him]: he hath withdrawn himself from them.
౬వారు గొర్రెలను, ఎడ్లను తీసుకుని యెహోవాను వెదకబోతారు గాని, ఆయన వారికి కనబడడు. ఎందుకంటే ఆయన తనను మరుగు చేసుకున్నాడు.
7 They have dealt treacherously against Jehovah; for they have begotten strange children: now shall the new moon devour them, with their allotted possessions.
౭వారు యెహోవాకు విశ్వాసఘాతకులయ్యారు. అక్రమ సంతానాన్ని కన్నారు. ఇక ఇప్పుడు వారి అమావాస్య పర్వదినాలు వారి పొలాలతో సహా వారిని మింగేస్తాయి.
8 Blow the horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah; cry aloud [at] Beth-aven: behind thee, O Benjamin!
౮గిబియాలో బాకా ఊదండి. రమాలో భేరీనాదం చెయ్యండి. “బెన్యామీనూ, మేము మీతో వస్తున్నాం” అని బేతావెనులో కేకలు పెట్టండి.
9 Ephraim shall be a desolation in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which is sure.
౯శిక్షదినాన ఎఫ్రాయిము శిథిలమై పోతుంది. తప్పనిసరిగా జరగబోయే దాన్ని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్రాల వారికి నేను తెలియజేస్తున్నాను.
10 The princes of Judah are become like them that remove the landmark: I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
౧౦యూదా వారి అధిపతులు సరిహద్దు రాళ్లను తీసేసే వారిలా ఉన్నారు. నీళ్లు ప్రవహించినట్టు నేను వారిపై నా ఉగ్రత కుమ్మరిస్తాను.
11 Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, because in selfwill he walked after the commandment [of man].
౧౧ఎఫ్రాయిమీయులు నలిగి పచ్చడైపోయారు. తీర్పు వల్ల వారు సమూల నాశనమయ్యారు. ఎందుకంటే వారు విగ్రహాలకు వంగి నమస్కరిస్తూ నడుచుకుంటున్నారు.
12 And I will be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
౧౨ఎఫ్రాయిమీయుల పాలిట చెద పురుగులాగా, యూదావారికి కుళ్లిపోజేసే వ్యాధి లాగా నేను ఉంటాను.
13 When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his sore, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb; but he was unable to heal you, nor hath he removed your sore.
౧౩తన వ్యాధిని ఎఫ్రాయిము చూశాడు. తన పుండును యూదా చూశాడు. ఎఫ్రాయిము అష్షూరీయుల దగ్గరికి వెళ్ళాడు. ఆ గొప్ప రాజు దగ్గరికి రాయబారులను పంపాడు. అయితే అతడు నిన్ను బాగు చేయలేకపోయాడు. నీ పుండు నయం చేయలేకపోయాడు.
14 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah. I, I will tear and go away; I will carry off, and there shall be none to deliver.
౧౪ఎందుకంటే నేను ఎఫ్రాయిమీయులకు సింహం లాగా ఉంటాను. యూదావారికి కొదమ సింహం వలే ఉంటాను. నేనే వారిని చీల్చేసి వెళ్ళిపోతాను. నేనే వారిని తీసుకుపోతాను. వారిని విడిపించే వాడొక్కడు కూడా ఉండడు.
15 I will go away, I will return to my place, till they acknowledge their trespass, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
౧౫వారు తమ దోషాన్ని ఒప్పుకుని నన్ను వెదికే వరకూ నేను నా చోటికి తిరిగి వెళ్ళను. తమ దురవస్థలో వారు నన్ను మనస్ఫూర్తిగా వెదికే సమయం దాకా నేను వదిలిపెట్టను.
