Hebrews 8
1 Now a summary of the things of which we are speaking [is], We have such a one high priest who has sat down on [the] right hand of the throne of the greatness in the heavens;
೧ನಾವು ಈಗ ಹೇಳುವ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಮಾತೇನೆಂದರೆ, ಪರಲೋಕದೊಳಗೆ ಮಹೋನ್ನತನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸನಾರೂಢನಾದಂಥ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನು ನಮಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
2 minister of the holy places and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord has pitched, [and] not man.
೨ಆತನು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಂದಲ್ಲ, ಕರ್ತನೇ ಹಾಕಿದ ನಿಜವಾದ ದೇವದರ್ಶನ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜಕೋದ್ಯೋಗ ನಡಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
3 For every high priest is constituted for the offering both of gifts and sacrifices; whence it is needful that this one also should have something which he may offer.
೩ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಈತನಿಗೂ ಸಹ ಏನಾದರೂ ಇರುವುದು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
4 If then indeed he were upon earth, he would not even be a priest, there being those who offer the gifts according to the law,
೪ಆತನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದರೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾಗುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವವರು ಇದ್ದಾರಲ್ಲಾ.
5 (who serve the representation and shadow of heavenly things, according as Moses was oracularly told [when] about to make the tabernacle; for See, saith He, that thou make all things according to the pattern which has been shewn to thee in the mountain.)
೫ಮೋಶೆಯು ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವುದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಾಗ, “ನೋಡು, ನಾನು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ದೇವರಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಂತೆಯೇ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವವುಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿರೂಪವೂ, ಛಾಯೆಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
6 But now he has got a more excellent ministry, by so much as he is mediator of a better covenant, which is established on the footing of better promises.
೬ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಈತನು ಉತ್ತಮ ವಾಗ್ದಾನಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾದ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
7 For if that first was faultless, place had not been sought for a second.
೭ಆ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಎರಡನೆಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
8 For finding fault, he says to them, Behold, days come, saith the Lord, and I will consummate a new covenant as regards the house of Israel, and as regards the house of Juda;
೮ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಆ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸಿ ಹೀಗೆಂದನು, “‘ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ವಂಶದವರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವವು’ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
9 not according to the covenant which I made to their fathers in [the] day of my taking their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in my covenant, and I did not regard them, saith [the] Lord.
೯‘ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ನಾನು ಇವರ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರನ್ನು ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
10 Because this [is] the covenant that I will covenant to the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord: Giving my laws into their mind, I will write them also upon their hearts; and I will be to them for God, and they shall be to me for people.
೧೦‘ಆ ದಿನಗಳ ತರುವಾಯ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು’ ಹೀಗಿರುವುದು, ‘ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡುವೆನು. ನಾನು ಅವರ ಹೃದಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆಯುವೆನು. ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವೆನು. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾಗಿರುವರು.
11 And they shall not teach each his fellow-citizen, and each his brother, saying, Know the Lord; because all shall know me in themselves, from [the] little one [among them] unto [the] great among them.
೧೧ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಿಗೂ “ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಬೋಧಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಹೀನರಾದವರು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಉನ್ನತರಾದವರ ತನಕ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವರು.
12 Because I will be merciful to their unrighteousnesses, and their sins and their lawlessnesses I will never remember any more.
೧೨ನಾನು ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕರುಣೆಯಿಂದ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸುವೆನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ’” ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
13 In that he says New, he has made the first old; but that which grows old and aged [is] near disappearing.
೧೩ಆತನು “ಹೊಸತು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲಿದ್ದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹಳೆಯದಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅದು ಹಳೆಯದಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮೀಪವಾಗಿದೆ.
