Hebrews 12
1 Let us also therefore, having so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, laying aside every weight, and sin which so easily entangles us, run with endurance the race that lies before us,
೧ಆದಕಾರಣ ಇಷ್ಟು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪು ಮೇಘದಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಲು ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಅಭ್ಯಂತರಪಡಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಾರವನ್ನೂ, ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಸಹ ನಾವು ತೆಗೆದಿಟ್ಟು, ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವಾತನೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸುವಾತನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಟ್ಟು ನಮಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾದ ಓಟವನ್ನು ಸಹನೆಯಿಂದ ಓಡೋಣ. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಸಂತೋಷಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಅಪಮಾನವನ್ನು ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಾಡಿ, ಶಿಲುಬೆಯ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ದೇವರ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸೀನನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
2 looking stedfastly on Jesus the leader and completer of faith: who, in view of the joy lying before him, endured [the] cross, having despised [the] shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
೨
3 For consider well him who endured so great contradiction from sinners against himself, that ye be not weary, fainting in your minds.
೩ನೀವು ಮನಗುಂದಿದವರಾಗಿ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳದಂತೆ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಯೋಚಿಸಿರಿ. ಆತನು ಪಾಪಿಗಳಿಂದ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ವಿರೋಧವನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, wrestling against sin.
೪ನೀವು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುವಷ್ಟು ಹೋರಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲ.
5 And ye have quite forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: My son, despise not [the] chastening of [the] Lord, nor faint [when] reproved by him;
೫ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವಂತೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರೋ? ಅದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಕರ್ತನ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸಬೇಡ. ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸುವಾಗ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ.”
6 for whom [the] Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.
೬ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಯಾರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ತಾನು ಮಗನಂತೆ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿದೆ.
7 Ye endure for chastening, God conducts himself towards you as towards sons; for who is the son that the father chastens not?
೭ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶಿಸ್ತಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆಂದು ಅದನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಂದು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಹೊಂದದ ಮಗನೆಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ?
8 But if ye are without chastening, of which all have been made partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
೮ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಪಾಲುಗಾರರಬೇಕಾದ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯು ನಿಮಗುಂಟಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ಹಾದರದಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರೇ ಹೊರತು ಆತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲ.
9 Moreover we have had the fathers of our flesh as chasteners, and we reverenced [them]; shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
೯ಇದು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ಲೌಕಿಕ ತಂದೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿತ್ತೇವಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮಗಳಿಗೆ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿರುವಾತನಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಅಧೀನರಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಸಬೇಕಲ್ಲವೇ?
10 For they indeed chastened for a few days, as seemed good to them; but he for profit, in order to the partaking of his holiness.
೧೦ನಮ್ಮ ಲೌಕಿಕ ತಂದೆಗಳು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸರಿದೋರಿದಂತೆ ಕೆಲವು ಕಾಲ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಪಾಲುಗಾರರಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
11 But no chastening at the time seems to be [matter] of joy, but of grief; but afterwards yields [the] peaceful fruit of righteousness to those exercised by it.
೧೧ಯಾವ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾದರೂ ತತ್ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂತೋಷಕರವಾಗಿ ತೋರದೆ, ದುಃಖಕರವಾಗಿ ತೋರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಶಿಸ್ತಿನ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವರು, ಮುಂದೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವುಳ್ಳ ನೀತಿಯ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
12 Wherefore lift up the hands that hang down, and the failing knees;
೧೨ಆದುದ್ದರಿಂದ ಜೋಲುಬಿದ್ದ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಡುಗುವ ಮೊಣಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.
13 and make straight paths for your feet, that that which is lame be not turned aside; but that rather it may be healed.
೧೩ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ನೇರವಾದ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಕುಂಟುವ ಕಾಲು ಉಳುಕಿ ಹೋಗದೇ ವಾಸಿಯಾಗುವುದು.
14 Pursue peace with all, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord:
೧೪ಎಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ಜೀವಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಾಗಿರಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾವನೂ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
15 watching lest [there be] any one who lacks the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and many be defiled by it;
೧೫ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನೂ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಹಿಂಜಾರಿ ಹೋಗದಂತೆಯೂ, ಯಾವ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ಬೇರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಗುರಿ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ಮಲಿನಪಡಿಸದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
16 lest [there be] any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one meal sold his birthright;
೧೬ಯಾವ ಜಾರನಾಗಲಿ, ಏಸಾವನಂಥ ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕನಾಗಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇರದಂತೆ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಆ ಏಸಾವನು ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ಊಟಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲುತನದ ಹಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಮಾರಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
17 for ye know that also afterwards, desiring to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, (for he found no place for repentance) although he sought it earnestly with tears.
೧೭ಅನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರೂ, ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಗವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನೆಂದು ನೀವು ಬಲ್ಲವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
18 For ye have not come to [the mount] that might be touched and was all on fire, and to obscurity, and darkness, and tempest,
೧೮ನೀವು ಮುಟ್ಟಬಹುದಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹೊತ್ತಿದಂಥ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ, ಕಾರ್ಮೋಡ, ಕಗ್ಗತ್ತಲೆ, ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿ, ತುತ್ತೂರಿಯ ಶಬ್ದ, ಮಾತುಗಳ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎಂಬಿವುಗಳ ಬಳಿಗಲ್ಲ ನೀವು ಬಂದಿರುವುದು. ಆ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದವರು ಇನ್ನೆಂದಿಗೂ ಆ ಧ್ವನಿ ತಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದೇ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರು.
19 and trumpet's sound, and voice of words; which they that heard, excusing themselves, declined [the] word being addressed to them any more:
೧೯
20 (for they were not able to bear what was enjoined: And if a beast should touch the mountain, it shall be stoned;
೨೦ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, “ಒಂದು ಮೃಗವಾದರೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂಬ” ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರಿಂದ ತಾಳಲಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
21 and, so fearful was the sight, Moses said, I am exceedingly afraid and full of trembling; )
೨೧ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆ ದೃಶ್ಯವು ಅತಿ ಭಯಾನಕವಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯು, “ನಾನು ಹೆದರಿ, ನಡುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
22 but ye have come to mount Zion; and to [the] city of [the] living God, heavenly Jerusalem; and to myriads of angels,
೨೨ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೂ, ಜೀವಸ್ವರೂಪನಾದ ದೇವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾಗಿರುವ ಪರಲೋಕದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ, ಉತ್ಸವ ಸಂಘದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿರುವ ಕೋಟ್ಯಾನುಕೋಟಿ ದೇವದೂತರ ಬಳಿಗೂ,
23 the universal gathering; and to [the] assembly of the firstborn [who are] registered in heaven; and to God, judge of all; and to [the] spirits of just [men] made perfect;
೨೩ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಸರು ಬರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಭೆಗೂ, ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಗೂ, ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣರಾಗಿರುವ ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಆತ್ಮಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೂ,
24 and to Jesus, mediator of a new covenant; and to [the] blood of sprinkling, speaking better than Abel.
೨೪ಹೊಸ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೂ, ಹೇಬೆಲನ ರಕ್ತಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಪ್ರೋಕ್ಷಣ ರಕ್ತದ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
25 See that ye refuse not him that speaks. For if those did not escape who had refused him who uttered the oracles on earth, much more we who turn away from him [who does so] from heaven:
೨೫ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾತನನ್ನು ನೀವು ಅಸಡ್ಡೆ ಮಾಡದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿದವನನ್ನು ಅಸಡ್ಡೆಮಾಡಿದವರು ದಂಡನೆಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಾತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ದೂರವಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಹೋದರೆ ದಂಡನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೇಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆವು?
26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now he has promised, saying, Yet once will I shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.
೨೬ಆತನ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಆಗ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಕದಲಿಸಿತು. ಈಗಲಾದರೋ ಆತನು, “ಇನ್ನೊಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ ನಾನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರಲೋಕವನ್ನೂ ಕದಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ವಾಗ್ದಾನಮಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
27 But this Yet once, signifies the removing of what is shaken, as being made, that what is not shaken may remain.
೨೭“ಇನ್ನೊಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ,” ಎಂಬ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸಿದರೆ, ಕದಲಿಸಿರುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ನಿರ್ಮಿತವಾದವುಗಳಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತವೆಂಬುದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಗ, ಕದಲಿಸದೇ ಇರುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವವು.
28 Wherefore let us, receiving a kingdom not to be shaken, have grace, by which let us serve God acceptably with reverence and fear.
೨೮ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯಾರೂ ಕದಲಿಸಲಾರದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರಾದ ನಾವು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ, ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಕವಾದ ಆರಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಭಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಮಾಡೋಣ.
29 For also our God [is] a consuming fire.
೨೯ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ದಹಿಸುವ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
