< Habakkuk 3 >

1 A Prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth.
Ny fivavak’ i Habakoka mpaminany. Araka ny Sigionota.
2 Jehovah, I heard the report of thee, [and] I feared. Jehovah, revive thy work in the midst of the years, In the midst of the years make [it] known: In wrath remember mercy!
Jehovah ô, efa reko ny filazana Anao, ka raiki-tahotra aho; Jehovah ô, velomy ny asanao ao an-tenatenan’ ny taona, Ataovy fantatra ao an-tenatenan’ ny taona izany; Na dia tezitra aza Hianao, tsarovy ny indrafo.
3 God came from Teman, And the Holy One from mount Paran. (Selah) His glory covereth the heavens, And the earth is full of his praise.
Tamy avy any Temana Andriamanitra, Dia ny iray Masìna avy any an-tendrombohitra Parana. (Sela) Manarona ny lanitra ny voninahiny, Ary manenika ny tany ny fiderana Azy.
4 And [his] brightness was as the light; Rays [came forth] from his hand; And there was the hiding of his power.
Misy famirapiratana toy ny mazava, Ary misy tàna-masoandro avy eo amin’ ny tànany; Ary ao no fieren’ ny heriny.
5 Before him went the pestilence, And a burning flame went forth at his feet.
Eo alohany no andehanan’ ny areti-mandringana, Ary areti-mandripaka no mivoaka avy eo aoriany.
6 He stood, and measured the earth; He beheld, and discomfited the nations; And the eternal mountains were scattered, The everlasting hills gave way: His ways are everlasting.
Mijanona Izy ka manozongozona ny tany; Mijery Izy ka mampangovitra ny firenena, Ary torotoro ny tendrombohitra mandrakizay, Mietry ny havoana fahagola, Fanaony hatry ny fahagola ny Azy.
7 I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; The curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
Mahita ny lain’ i Kosana azom-pahoriana aho, Sady mipararetra ny ambain-dain’ ny tany Midiana.
8 Was Jehovah wrathful with the rivers? Was thine anger against the rivers? Was thy rage against the sea, That thou didst ride upon thy horses, Thy chariots of salvation?
Moa amin’ ny ony va no irehetan’ ny fahatezeran’ i Jehovah? Amin’ ny ony va no ahatezeranao, Na amin’ ny ranomasina va no ahasosoranao, No dia mitaingina ny soavalinao sy ny kalesim-pamonjenao Hianao?
9 Thy bow was made naked, The rods [of discipline] sworn according to [thy] word. (Selah) Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
Nalan-tsarona ny tsipìkanao; Efa nianianana ny fikapohan’ ny teny. (Sela) Namakivaky ny tany Hianao mba hisy ony.
10 The mountains saw thee, they were in travail: Torrents of waters passed by; The deep uttered its voice, Lifted up its hands on high.
Nahita Anao ny tendrombohitra ka toran-kovitra; Mirotsaka ny ranonorana mivatravatra, Mamoa-peo ny lalina Sady manangan-tanana ho amin’ ny avo.
11 The sun [and] moon stood still in their habitation, At the light of thine arrows which shot forth, — At the shining of thy glittering spear.
Ny masoandro sy ny volana niditra teo amin’ ny fitoerany, Noho ny fahazavan’ ny zana-tsipìkanao mitsoriaka Sy ny fanelatselatry ny lefonao mamirapiratra.
12 Thou didst march through the land in indignation, Thou didst thresh the nations in anger.
Amin’ ny fahatezeranao no anitsahanao ny tany; Amin’ ny fahaviniranao no anosihosenao ny firenena.
13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, For the salvation of thine anointed; Thou didst smite off the head from the house of the wicked, Laying bare the foundation even to the neck. (Selah)
Mivoaka hamonjy ny olonao Hianao, dia hamonjy ny voahosotrao; Torotoroinao ny tapenaky ny tranon’ ny ratsy fanahy, Ka ahariharinao hatreo an-tenatenany ny fanorenany. (Sela)
14 Thou didst strike through with his own spears the head of his leaders: They came out as a whirlwind to scatter me, Whose exulting was as to devour the afflicted secretly.
Ny lefony ihany no anaboroahanao ny lohan’ ireo miaramilany betsaka, Izay avy toy ny tadio hanely ahy, Sady mifaly handany mangingina ny ory izy.
15 Thou didst walk through the sea with thy horses, The heap of great waters.
Mitety ny ranomasina amin’ ny soavalinao Hianao, Dia eny amin’ ny rano be miavovona.
16 I heard, and my belly trembled; My lips quivered at the voice; Rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in my place, That I might rest in the day of distress, When their invader shall come up against the people.
Nony mandre aho, dia mandevilevy ny kiboko; Ny molotro mipararetra noho ny feo; Azon’ ny fahalòvana ny taolako, ary mangovitra aho; Fa tsy maintsy miandry ny andro fahoriana aho, Dia izay hiakaran’ ny mpanao andiany hamely ny olonao.
17 For though the fig-tree shall not blossom, Neither shall fruit be in the vines; The labour of the olive-tree shall fail, And the fields shall yield no food; The flock shall be cut off from the fold, And there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Fa na dia tsy mamontsina aza ny aviavy, Ary tsy misy voany ny voaloboka, Na dia mahadiso fanantenana aza ny oliva, Ary tsy mahavokatra hohanina ny saha, Na dia vonoina aza ny ondry ao amin’ ny vala, Ary tsy misy omby ao am-pahitra,
18 Yet I will rejoice in Jehovah, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Nefa izaho dia mbola hifaly amin’ i Jehovah ihany Sy hiravoravo amin’ Andriamanitry ny famonjena ahy.
19 Jehovah, the Lord, is my strength, And he maketh my feet like hinds' [feet], And he will make me to walk upon my high places. To the chief Musician. On my stringed instruments.
Jehovah Tompo no tanjako, Ary manao ny tongotro ho toy ny an’ ny dieravavy Izy Ka mampandeha ahy any amin’ ny havoanako. Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Hampiarahina amin’ ny valiha.
