< Habakkuk 3 >
1 A Prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth.
Lemo mane Habakuk janabi olamo e dwond Shigionot ema:
2 Jehovah, I heard the report of thee, [and] I feared. Jehovah, revive thy work in the midst of the years, In the midst of the years make [it] known: In wrath remember mercy!
Jehova Nyasaye, asewinjo humbi; achungʼ e nyimi ka an-gi luoro kuom gik misetimo, yaye Jehova Nyasaye. Mad itimgi kendo e kindewa, mi gingʼere e ndalowani; ka in gi mirima to mad ipar ngʼwono.
3 God came from Teman, And the Holy One from mount Paran. (Selah) His glory covereth the heavens, And the earth is full of his praise.
Nyasaye nobiro koa Teman, Nyasaye Maler moa e got mar Paran. (Sela) Duongʼne noumo polo, kendo pakne nopongʼo piny.
4 And [his] brightness was as the light; Rays [came forth] from his hand; And there was the hiding of his power.
Berne ne chalo kawuok chiengʼ; kendo ler ne mil ka wuok e lwete, kama tekone opandie.
5 Before him went the pestilence, And a burning flame went forth at his feet.
Masira mar tuoche notelo e nyime; to midekre noluwe.
6 He stood, and measured the earth; He beheld, and discomfited the nations; And the eternal mountains were scattered, The everlasting hills gave way: His ways are everlasting.
Ne ochungʼ kendo noyiengo piny, ne ongʼicho mi ogendini otetni. Gode machon nomukore kendo gode matindo manyaka nene bende nopodho. Yorene osiko manyaka chiengʼ.
7 I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; The curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
Ne aneno hemb jo-Kushan ka nigi chandruok, kuonde dak mag jo-Midian nigi kihondko.
8 Was Jehovah wrathful with the rivers? Was thine anger against the rivers? Was thy rage against the sea, That thou didst ride upon thy horses, Thy chariots of salvation?
Mirima nomaki gi aore, yaye Jehova Nyasaye? Koso mirima nomaki gi aore matindo? Koso ne ikecho gi nam kane iidho farese, ma en gachi mar loch?
9 Thy bow was made naked, The rods [of discipline] sworn according to [thy] word. (Selah) Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
Isechiko atungʼ mari, kendo iluongo mondo omedi aserni mangʼeny. (Sela) Ipogo piny gi aore,
10 The mountains saw thee, they were in travail: Torrents of waters passed by; The deep uttered its voice, Lifted up its hands on high.
gode ne oneni ma otetni giluoro; oula nomwomo karidore. Kude matut bende mor matek; apaka ne tingʼore malo.
11 The sun [and] moon stood still in their habitation, At the light of thine arrows which shot forth, — At the shining of thy glittering spear.
Wangʼ chiengʼ gi dwe nochungʼ kargi e kor polo ka gineno asernigi mibayo; ka mil polo machalo tongʼ mobaa.
12 Thou didst march through the land in indignation, Thou didst thresh the nations in anger.
E mirimbi ne iwuotho e piny duto, to kuom mirimbi ne inyono ogendini.
13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, For the salvation of thine anointed; Thou didst smite off the head from the house of the wicked, Laying bare the foundation even to the neck. (Selah)
Ne ibiro mondo ires jogi, mondo iwar ngʼatno mowal. Ne inyono jatend piny richo, ne ilonye duk koa e tiende piny nyaka e wiye. (Sela)
14 Thou didst strike through with his own spears the head of his leaders: They came out as a whirlwind to scatter me, Whose exulting was as to devour the afflicted secretly.
Gi tonge owuon isechwoyo wiye, kane jolwenje omonjowa mondo gikewa, ka gin gi ilo ka gima gichiegni tieko joma onge gi nyalo kama ne giponde.
15 Thou didst walk through the sea with thy horses, The heap of great waters.
To ne inyono nam gi faresegi, ka iduwo pi.
16 I heard, and my belly trembled; My lips quivered at the voice; Rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in my place, That I might rest in the day of distress, When their invader shall come up against the people.
Ne awinjo ma chunya noridore, dhoga nomoko kane awinjo kokono; chokena nonyosore kendo tiendena notetni. To kata kamano abiro rito ka ahora ni odiechieng masira mabiro mako oganda ma monjowa chopi.
17 For though the fig-tree shall not blossom, Neither shall fruit be in the vines; The labour of the olive-tree shall fail, And the fields shall yield no food; The flock shall be cut off from the fold, And there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Kata obedo ni yadh ngʼowu ok nyal thiewo bende kata obedo ni onge olemo ewi yadh zeituni, kata obedo ni yadh mzabibu ok nyag olemo bende kata obedo ni puothe ok nyag cham, kendo kata obedo ni rombe orumo e abila mi dhok bende orumo duto e dipo,
18 Yet I will rejoice in Jehovah, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
to kata kamano pod abiro bedo gi ilo kuom Jehova Nyasaye, kendo abiro bedo mamor kuom Nyasaye ma Jawarna.
19 Jehovah, the Lord, is my strength, And he maketh my feet like hinds' [feet], And he will make me to walk upon my high places. To the chief Musician. On my stringed instruments.
Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto e tekona; en ema omiyo tienda bedo mayot ka tiend mwanda, en ema omiyo awuotho kuonde motingʼore malo. Ne jatend wer. E thuma mar kamba.
