Genesis 7
1 And Jehovah said to Noah, Go into the ark, thou and all thy house; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
സകലതും ക്രമീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടതിനുശേഷം, യഹോവ നോഹയോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത്: “ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഈ തലമുറയിൽ നീതിമാനായി കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു നീയും നിന്റെ കുടുംബം മുഴുവനും പെട്ടകത്തിനുള്ളിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിക്കുക.
2 Of all clean beasts thou shalt take to thee by sevens, a male and its female; but of the beasts that are not clean two, a male and its female.
ശുദ്ധിയുള്ള മൃഗങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് ആണും പെണ്ണുമായി ഏഴുജോടിയെയും ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത മൃഗങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് ആണും പെണ്ണുമായി ഓരോ ജോടിയെയും
3 Also of the fowl of the heavens by sevens, male and female; to keep seed alive on the face of all the earth.
പക്ഷികളുടെ ഓരോ ജാതിയിൽനിന്നും പൂവനും പിടയുമായി ഏഴുജോടിയെയും, പ്രളയശേഷം ഭൂമിയിൽ ഈവക ജീവനോടെ ശേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിനു നീ ചേർത്തുകൊള്ളണം;
4 For in yet seven days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living being which I have made will I destroy from the ground.
ഏഴുദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞ്, ഞാൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ നാൽപ്പതുപകലും നാൽപ്പതുരാവും മഴപെയ്യിക്കുകയും ഞാൻ നിർമിച്ച സകലജീവികളെയും ഭൂമുഖത്തുനിന്നു തുടച്ചുനീക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.”
5 And Noah did according to all that Jehovah had commanded him.
യഹോവ തന്നോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെതന്നെയെല്ലാം നോഹ ചെയ്തു.
6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was on the earth.
ഭൂമിയിൽ പ്രളയം ഉണ്ടായപ്പോൾ നോഹയ്ക്ക് 600 വയസ്സായിരുന്നു.
7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
നോഹയും തന്റെ ഭാര്യയും നോഹയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും അവരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരും പ്രളയത്തിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നതിനായി പെട്ടകത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു.
8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowl, and of everything that creeps on the ground,
ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവയും അല്ലാത്തവയുമായ മൃഗങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന്, പക്ഷികളും എല്ലാ ഇഴജന്തുക്കളും,
9 there came two and two unto Noah into the ark, male and female, as God had commanded Noah.
ആണും പെണ്ണുമായി ദൈവം കൽപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ നോഹയുടെ അടുക്കൽവന്ന് പെട്ടകത്തിനുള്ളിൽ കടന്നു.
10 And it came to pass after seven days that the waters of the flood were on the earth.
ഏഴുദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഭൂമിയിൽ പ്രളയം ആരംഭിച്ചു.
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that same day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
നോഹയുടെ ആയുസ്സിന്റെ അറുനൂറാംവർഷം, രണ്ടാംമാസം, പതിനേഴാംതീയതിതന്നെ ആഴിയുടെ ഉറവുകൾ തുറക്കപ്പെട്ടു, ആകാശത്തിന്റെ കിളിവാതിലുകളും തുറക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
12 And the pour of rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.
നാൽപ്പതുപകലും നാൽപ്പതുരാവും ഭൂമിയിൽ മഴ പെയ്തുകൊണ്ടേയിരുന്നു.
13 On the same day went Noah, and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
ഭൂമിയിൽ മഴ പെയ്യാൻ തുടങ്ങിയ ആ ദിവസംതന്നെ നോഹ തന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ ശേം, ഹാം, യാഫെത്ത് എന്നിവരോടും ഭാര്യയോടും പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരോടുംകൂടെ പെട്ടകത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു.
14 they, and every beast after its kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and all fowl after its kind — every bird of every wing.
അവരോടൊപ്പം എല്ലാത്തരം വന്യമൃഗങ്ങളും കന്നുകാലികളും ഇഴജന്തുക്കളും പക്ഷികളും ചിറകുള്ള സകലതും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
15 And they went to Noah, into the ark, two and two of all flesh, in which was the breath of life.
ജീവശ്വാസമുള്ള സമസ്തജന്തുക്കളുടെയും ഇണകൾ നോഹയുടെ അടുക്കൽവന്നു പെട്ടകത്തിൽ കയറി.
16 And they that came, came male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him. And Jehovah shut him in.
ദൈവം നോഹയോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചതനുസരിച്ച്, ആണും പെണ്ണുമായിട്ടാണ് സകലജീവികളും പെട്ടകത്തിൽവന്നു കയറിയത്. അതിനുശേഷം യഹോവ അവരെ ഉള്ളിലാക്കി വാതിൽ അടച്ചു.
17 And the flood was forty days on the earth. And the waters increased, and bore up the ark; and it was lifted up above the earth.
നാൽപ്പതു ദിവസത്തേക്കു ഭൂമിയിൽ പ്രളയം തുടർന്നു; വെള്ളം പെരുകിയപ്പോൾ പെട്ടകം ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്ന് ഉയർന്നു.
18 And the waters prevailed and increased greatly on the earth; and the ark went on the face of the waters.
വെള്ളം ഭൂമിയിൽ അത്യധികം പെരുകി, പെട്ടകം വെള്ളത്തിനുമീതേ ഒഴുകിനീങ്ങി.
19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth; and all the high mountains that are under all the heavens were covered.
ആകാശത്തിനു കീഴിലുള്ള ഉയർന്ന പർവതങ്ങളെയൊക്കെയും മൂടുംവിധം ഭൂമിയിൽ വെള്ളം പൊങ്ങി.
20 Fifteen cubits upward the waters prevailed; and the mountains were covered.
പർവതങ്ങൾക്കുമേൽ പതിനഞ്ചുമുഴത്തിലധികം ജലനിരപ്പുയർന്നു.
21 And all flesh that moved on the earth expired, fowl as well as cattle, and beasts, and all crawling things which crawl on the earth, and all mankind:
പക്ഷികൾ, കന്നുകാലികൾ, വന്യജീവികൾ, ഇഴജന്തുക്കൾ, മനുഷ്യവർഗം മുഴുവനും, ഇങ്ങനെ സകലഭൂചരജീവികളും നശിച്ചു.
22 everything which had in its nostrils the breath of life, of all that was on the dry [land], died.
മൂക്കിൽ ജീവശ്വാസമുള്ളവയായി, കരയിൽ അവശേഷിച്ചിരുന്നവയെല്ലാം ചത്തൊടുങ്ങി.
23 And every living being was destroyed that was on the ground, both man, and cattle, and creeping things, and fowl of the heavens; and they were destroyed from the earth. And Noah alone remained, and what was with him in the ark.
ഭൂമുഖത്തു ജീവനോടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നവയെല്ലാം നിർമാർജനം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു; മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും നിലത്തിഴയുന്ന ജീവികളെയും ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളെയും—ഇങ്ങനെ സകലതിനെയും പ്രളയം തുടച്ചുനീക്കി. നോഹയും അദ്ദേഹത്തോടുകൂടെ പെട്ടകത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നവരുംമാത്രം അവശേഷിച്ചു.
24 And the waters prevailed on the earth a hundred and fifty days.
പ്രളയം ഭൂമിയിൽ നൂറ്റി അൻപതു ദിവസത്തേക്കു തുടർന്നു.
The Great Flood
