Genesis 36

1 And these are the generations of Esau, that is Edom.

௧ஏதோமியரின் தகப்பனாகிய ஏசாவின் வம்சவரலாறு:

2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon the Hivite,

௨ஏசா கானான் தேசத்துப் பெண்களில் ஏத்தியனான ஏலோனின் மகளாகிய ஆதாளையும், ஏவியனாகிய சிபியோனின் மகளும் ஆனாகின் மகளுமாகிய அகோலிபாமாளையும்,

3 and Basmath Ishmael's daughter, the sister of Nebaioth.

௩இஸ்மவேலின் மகளும் நெபாயோத்தின் சகோதரியுமாகிய பஸ்மாத்தையும் திருமணம் செய்திருந்தான்.

4 And Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz; and Basmath bore Reuel.

௪ஆதாள் ஏசாவுக்கு எலிப்பாசைப் பெற்றெடுத்தாள்; பஸ்மாத்து ரெகுவேலைப் பெற்றெடுத்தாள்.

5 And Oholibamah bore Jeush and Jaalam and Korah. These are the sons of Esau that were born to him in the land of Canaan.

௫அகோலிபாமாள் எயூஷையும், யாலாமையும், கோராகையும் பெற்றெடுத்தாள்; இவர்களே ஏசாவுக்குக் கானான் தேசத்திலே பிறந்த மகன்கள்.

6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the souls of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his possessions, that he had acquired in the land of Canaan, and went into a country away from his brother Jacob.

௬ஏசா தன்னுடைய மனைவிகளையும், மகன்களையும், மகள்களையும், வீட்டிலுள்ள அனைவரையும், ஆடுமாடுகளையும், மற்ற உயிரினங்கள் அனைத்தையும், தான் கானான் தேசத்திலே சம்பாதித்த சொத்து முழுவதையும் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, தன் சகோதரனாகிய யாக்கோபைவிட்டுப் பிரிந்து வேறு தேசத்திற்குப் போனான்.

7 For their property was too great for them to dwell together, and the land where they were sojourners could not bear them, because of their cattle.

௭அவர்களுடைய சம்பத்து அதிகமாக இருந்ததால் அவர்கள் ஒன்றாக இணைந்து குடியிருக்க முடியாமற்போனது; அவர்களுடைய மந்தைகளின் காரணமாக அவர்கள் தங்கியிருந்த பூமி அவர்களைத் தாங்க முடியாததாயிருந்தது.

8 Thus Esau dwelt in mount Seir; Esau is Edom.

௮ஆதலால் ஏசா சேயீர்மலையில் குடியேறினான்; ஏசாவுக்கு ஏதோம் என்றும் பெயர்.

9 And these are the generations of Esau, the father of Edom, in mount Seir.

௯சேயீர்மலையில் இருக்கிற ஏதோமியர்களுடைய தகப்பனாகிய ஏசாவின் சந்ததிகளும்,

10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz, the son of Adah the wife of Esau; Reuel, the son of Basmath the wife of Esau.

௧0ஏசாவின் மகன்களுடைய பெயர்களாவன: ஏசாவின் மனைவியாகிய ஆதாளுடைய மகனுக்கு எலிப்பாஸ் என்று பெயர்; ஏசாவின் மனைவியாகிய பஸ்மாத்துடைய மகனுக்கு ரெகுவேல் என்று பெயர்.

11 — And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.

௧௧எலிப்பாசின் மகன்கள் தேமான், ஓமார், செப்போ, கத்தாம், கேனாஸ் என்பவர்கள்.

12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son, and she bore Amalek to Eliphaz. These are the sons of Adah Esau's wife.

௧௨திம்னாள் ஏசாவின் மகனாகிய எலிப்பாசுக்கு மறுமனையாட்டியாயிருந்து, எலீப்பாசுக்கு அமலேக்கைப் பெற்றெடுத்தாள்; இவர்களே ஏசாவின் மனைவியாகிய ஆதாளுடைய மகன்கள்.

13 — And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath and Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These are the sons of Basmath Esau's wife.

௧௩ரெகுவேலுடைய மகன்கள், நகாத், செராகு, சம்மா, மீசா என்பவர்கள்; இவர்களே ஏசாவின் மனைவியாகிய பஸ்மாத்தின் மகன்கள்.

14 — And these are the sons of Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife: and she bore to Esau Jeush and Jaalam and Korah.

௧௪சிபியோனின் மகளும் ஆனாகின் மகளுமான அகோலிபாமாள் என்கிற ஏசாவின் மனைவி எயூஷ், யாலாம், கோராகு என்னும் மகன்களையும் ஏசாவுக்குப் பெற்றெடுத்தாள்.

15 These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau. The sons of Eliphaz, the firstborn of Esau: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Zepho, chief Kenaz,

௧௫ஏசாவின் மகன்களில் தோன்றிய பிரபுக்களாவன: ஏசாவுக்கு மூத்த மகனாகிய எலிப்பாசுடைய மகன்களில் தேமான் பிரபு, ஓமார் பிரபு, செப்போ பிரபு, கேனாஸ் பிரபு,

16 chief Korah, chief Gatam, chief Amalek. These are the chiefs of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Adah.

௧௬கோராகு பிரபு, கத்தாம் பிரபு, அமலேக்கு பிரபு என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் ஏதோம் தேசத்தில் எலிப்பாசின் சந்ததியும் ஆதாளின் மகன்களுமாயிருந்த பிரபுக்கள்.

17 And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah: these are the chiefs of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Basmath Esau's wife.

௧௭ஏசாவின் மகனாகிய ரெகுவேலின் மகன்களில் நகாத் பிரபு, செராகு பிரபு, சம்மா பிரபு, மீசா பிரபு என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் ஏதோம் தேசத்தில் ரெகுவேலின் சந்ததியும் ஏசாவின் மனைவியாகிய பஸ்மாத்தின் மகன்களுமாயிருந்த பிரபுக்கள்.

18 — And these are the sons of Oholibamah Esau's wife: chief Jeush, chief Jaalam, chief Korah; these are the chiefs of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.

௧௮ஏசாவின் மனைவியாகிய அகோலிபாமாளின் மகன்கள் எயூஷ் பிரபு, யாலாம் பிரபு, கோராகு பிரபு என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் ஆனாகின் மகளும் ஏசாவுடைய மனைவியுமாகிய அகோலிபாமாளின் சந்ததியாயிருந்த பிரபுக்கள்.

19 These are the sons of Esau, and these their chiefs: he is Edom.

௧௯இவர்களே ஏதோம் என்னும் ஏசாவின் சந்ததி; இவர்களே அவர்களிலிருந்த பிரபுக்கள்.

20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitant of the land: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,

௨0அந்த தேசத்தின் குடிகளாகிய ஓரியனான சேயீரின் மகன்கள் லோத்தான், சோபால், சிபியோன், ஆனாகு,

21 and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan. These are the chiefs of the Horites, the sons of Seir in the land of Edom.

௨௧திஷோன், ஏத்சேர், திஷான் என்பவர்கள்; இவர்களே ஏதோம் தேசத்தில் சேயீரின் மகன்களுமாகிய ஓரியர்களுடைய சந்ததியாயிருந்த பிரபுக்கள்.

22 — And the sons of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan's sister was Timna.

௨௨லோத்தானுடைய மகன்கள் ஓரி, ஏமாம் என்பவர்கள்; லோத்தானின் சகோதரி திம்னாள் என்பவள்.

23 — And these are the sons of Shobal: Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho and Onam.

௨௩சோபாலின் மகன்கள் அல்வான், மானகாத், ஏபால், செப்போ, ஓனாம் என்பவர்கள்.

24 — And these are the sons of Zibeon: both Ajah and Anah. This is the Anah that found the warm springs in the wilderness as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.

௨௪சிபியோனின் மகன்கள் அயா, ஆனாகு என்பவர்கள்; வனாந்திரத்திலே தன் தகப்பனாகிய சீபெயோனின் கழுதைகளை மேய்க்கும்போது, சூடான தண்ணிரைக் கண்டுபிடித்த ஆனாகு இவன்தான்.

25 — And these are the sons of Anah: Dishon, and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah.

௨௫ஆனாகின் பிள்ளைகள் திஷோன், அகோலிபாமாள் என்பவர்கள்; இந்த அகோலிபாமாள் ஆனாகின் மகள்.

26 — And these are the sons of Dishon: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

௨௬திஷோனுடைய மகன்கள் எம்தான், எஸ்பான், இத்தரான், கெரான் என்பவர்கள்.

27 — These are the sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.

௨௭ஏத்சேருடைய மகன்கள் பில்கான், சகவான், அக்கான் என்பவர்கள்.

28 — These are the sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

௨௮திஷானுடைய மகன்கள் ஊத்ஸ், அரான் என்பவர்கள்.

29 These are the chiefs of the Horites: chief Lotan, chief Shobal, chief Zibeon, chief Anah,

௨௯ஓரியரின் சந்ததியில் தோன்றிய பிரபுக்கள் லோத்தான் பிரபு, சோபால் பிரபு, சிபியோன் பிரபு, ஆனாகு பிரபு,

30 chief Dishon, chief Ezer, chief Dishan. These are the chiefs of the Horites, according to their chiefs in the land of Seir.

௩0திஷோன் பிரபு, ஏத்சேர் பிரபு, திஷான் பிரபு என்பவர்கள்; இவர்களே சேயீர் தேசத்திலே தங்கள் தங்கள் இடங்களில் இருந்த ஓரியர் சந்ததியான பிரபுக்கள்.

31 And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before there reigned a king over the children of Israel.

௩௧இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார்மேல் ராஜாக்கள் அரசாளுகிறதற்கு முன்னே, ஏதோம் தேசத்திலே ஆண்ட ராஜாக்களாவன:

32 And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

௩௨பேயோருடைய மகனாகிய பேலா ஏதோமிலே ஆட்சிசெய்தான்; அவனுடைய பட்டணத்திற்குத் தின்காபா என்று பெயர்.

33 And Bela died; and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

௩௩பேலா இறந்தபின், போஸ்றா பட்டணத்தானாகிய சேராகுடைய மகனாகிய யோபாப் அவனுடைய பட்டத்திற்கு வந்தான்.

34 And Jobab died; and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

௩௪யோபாப் இறந்தபின், தேமானிய தேசத்தானாகிய ஊஷாம் அவனுடைய பட்டத்திற்கு வந்தான்.

35 And Husham died; and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the fields of Moab, reigned in his stead. And the name of his city was Avith.

௩௫ஊஷாம் இறந்தபின், மோவாபின் நாட்டிலே மீதியானியர்களை முறியடித்த பேதாதின் மகனாகிய ஆதாத் அவனுடைய பட்டத்திற்கு வந்தான்; அவனுடைய பட்டணத்திற்கு ஆவீத் என்று பெயர்.

36 And Hadad died; and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

௩௬ஆதாத் இறந்தபின், மஸ்ரேக்கா ஊரானாகிய சம்லா அவனுடைய பட்டத்திற்கு வந்தான்.

37 And Samlah died; and Saul of Rehoboth on the river reigned in his stead.

௩௭சம்லா இறந்தபின், அங்கே இருக்கிற நதிக்குச் சமீபமான ரெகொபோத் என்னும் ஊரானாகிய சவுல் அவனுடைய பட்டத்திற்கு வந்தான்.

38 And Saul died; and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

௩௮சவுல் இறந்தபின், அக்போருடைய மகனாகிய பாகால்கானான் அவனுடைய பட்டத்திற்கு வந்தான்.

39 And Baal-hanan the son of Achbor died; and Hadar reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred daughter of Mezahab.

௩௯அக்போருடைய மகனாகிய பாகால்கானான் இறந்தபின், ஆதார் அவனுடைய பட்டத்திற்கு வந்தான். அவனுடைய பட்டணத்திற்குப் பாகு என்று பெயர்; அவனுடைய மனைவியின் பெயர் மெகேதபேல்; அவள் மத்ரேத்துடைய மகளும் மேசகாவின் மகளுமாக இருந்தாள்.

40 And these are the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families, after their places, with their names: chief Timna, chief Alvah, chief Jetheth,

௪0தங்கள் பற்பல வம்சங்களின்படியேயும், குடியிருப்புகளின்படியேயும், பெயர்களின்படியேயும் ஏசாவின் சந்ததியில் தோன்றிய பிரபுக்களுடைய பெயர்களாவன: திம்னா பிரபு, அல்வா பிரபு, எதேத் பிரபு,

41 chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,

௪௧அகோலிபாமா பிரபு, ஏலா பிரபு, பினோன் பிரபு,

42 chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,

௪௨கேனாஸ் பிரபு, தேமான் பிரபு, மிப்சார் பிரபு,

43 chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom, according to their dwelling-places in the land of their possession. This is Esau, the father of Edom.

௪௩மக்தியேல் பிரபு, ஈராம் பிரபு; இவர்களே தங்கள் சொந்தமான தேசத்திலே பற்பல இடங்களில் குடியிருந்த ஏதோம் சந்ததிப் பிரபுக்கள்; இந்த ஏதோமியருக்குத் தகப்பன் ஏசா.
