Galatians 5
1 Christ has set us free in freedom; stand fast therefore, and be not held again in a yoke of bondage.
സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്നായിട്ടു ക്രിസ്തു നമ്മെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കി; ആകയാൽ അതിൽ ഉറെച്ചുനില്പിൻ; അടിമനുകത്തിൽ പിന്നെയും കുടുങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു.
2 Behold, I, Paul, say to you, that if ye are circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
നിങ്ങൾ പരിച്ഛേദന ഏറ്റാൽ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു പ്രയോജനവുമില്ല എന്നു പൌലൊസായ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
3 And I witness again to every man [who is] circumcised, that he is debtor to do the whole law.
പരിച്ഛേദന ഏല്ക്കുന്ന ഏതു മനുഷ്യനോടും: അവൻ ന്യായപ്രമാണം മുഴുവനും നിവൎത്തിപ്പാൻ കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ പിന്നെയും സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്നു.
4 Ye are deprived of all profit from the Christ as separated [from him], as many as are justified by law; ye have fallen from grace.
ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടുവാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങൾ ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടു വേറുപെട്ടുപോയി; നിങ്ങൾ കൃപയിൽനിന്നു വീണുപോയി.
5 For we, by [the] Spirit, on the principle of faith, await the hope of righteousness.
ഞങ്ങളോ വിശ്വാസത്താൽ നീതി ലഭിക്കും എന്നുള്ള പ്രത്യാശാനിവൃത്തിയെ ആത്മാവിനാൽ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any force, nor uncircumcision; but faith working through love.
ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ പരിച്ഛേദനയല്ല അഗ്രചൎമ്മവുമല്ല സ്നേഹത്താൽ വ്യാപരിക്കുന്ന വിശ്വാസമത്രേ കാൎയ്യം.
7 Ye ran well; who has stopped you that ye should not obey the truth?
നിങ്ങൾ നന്നായി ഓടിയിരുന്നു; സത്യം അനുസരിക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ആർ തടുത്തു കളഞ്ഞു?
8 The persuasibleness [is] not of him that calls you.
ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളെ അനുസരിപ്പിച്ചതു നിങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയല്ല.
9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
അസാരം പുളിമാവു പിണ്ഡത്തെ മുഴുവനും പുളിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
10 I have confidence as to you in [the] Lord, that ye will have no other mind; and he that is troubling you shall bear the guilt [of it], whosoever he may be.
നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഭിന്നാഭിപ്രായമുണ്ടാകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ കൎത്താവിൽ ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളെ കലക്കുന്നവൻ ആരായാലും ശിക്ഷാവിധി ചുമക്കും.
11 But I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why am I yet persecuted? Then the scandal of the cross has been done away.
ഞാനോ, സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഇപ്പോഴും പരിച്ഛേദന പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വരികിൽ ഇനിയും ഉപദ്രവം സഹിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? അങ്ങനെ എങ്കിൽ ക്രൂശിന്റെ ഇടൎച്ച നീങ്ങിപ്പോയല്ലോ.
12 I would that they would even cut themselves off who throw you into confusion.
നിങ്ങളെ കലഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ അംഗച്ഛേദം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടാൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.
13 For ye have been called to liberty, brethren; only [do] not [turn] liberty into an opportunity to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്നായി വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഈ സ്വാതന്ത്ൎയ്യം ജഡത്തിന്നു അവസരമാക്കുക മാത്രം ചെയ്യാതെ സ്നേഹത്താൽ അന്യോന്യം സേവിപ്പിൻ.
14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself;
കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം. എന്നുള്ള ഏകവാക്യത്തിൽ ന്യായപ്രമാണം മുഴുവനും അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
15 but if ye bite and devour one another, see that ye are not consumed one of another.
നിങ്ങൾ അന്യോന്യം കടിക്കയും തിന്നുകളകയും ചെയ്താലോ ഒരുവനാൽ ഒരുവൻ ഒടുങ്ങിപ്പോകാതിരിപ്പാൻ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.
16 But I say, Walk in [the] Spirit, and ye shall no way fulfil flesh's lust.
ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടപ്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ജഡത്തിന്റെ മോഹം നിവൎത്തിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these things are opposed one to the other, that ye should not do those things which ye desire;
ജഡാഭിലാഷം ആത്മാവിന്നും ആത്മാഭിലാഷം ജഡത്തിന്നും വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതു ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം അവ തമ്മിൽ പ്രതികൂലമല്ലോ.
18 but if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under law.
ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൻ കീഴുള്ളവരല്ല.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are fornication, uncleanness, licentiousness,
ജഡത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളോ ദുൎന്നടപ്പു, അശുദ്ധി, ദുഷ്കാമം, വിഗ്രഹാരാധന,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strifes, jealousies, angers, contentions, disputes, schools of opinion,
ആഭിചാരം, പക, പിണക്കം, ജാരശങ്ക, ക്രോധം, ശാഠ്യം,
21 envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revels, and things like these; as to which I tell you beforehand, even as I also have said before, that they who do such things shall not inherit God's kingdom.
ദ്വന്ദ്വപക്ഷം, ഭിന്നത, അസൂയ, മദ്യപാനം, വെറിക്കൂത്തു മുതലായവ എന്നു വെളിവാകുന്നു; ഈ വക പ്രവൎത്തിക്കുന്നവർ ദൈവരാജ്യം അവകാശമാക്കുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ മുമ്പെ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഇപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളോടു മുൻകൂട്ടി പറയുന്നു.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity,
ആത്മാവിന്റെ ഫലമോ: സ്നേഹം, സന്തോഷം, സമാധാനം, ദീൎഘക്ഷമ, ദയ, പരോപകാരം, വിശ്വസ്തത, സൌമ്യത,
23 meekness, self-control: against such things there is no law.
ഇന്ദ്രിയജയം; ഈ വകെക്കു വിരോധമായി ഒരു ന്യായപ്രമാണവുമില്ല.
24 But they that [are] of the Christ have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts.
ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്നുള്ളവർ ജഡത്തെ അതിന്റെ രാഗമോഹങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ ക്രൂശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
25 If we live by the Spirit, let us walk also by the Spirit.
ആത്മാവിനാൽ നാം ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുകയും ചെയ്ക.
26 Let us not become vain-glorious, provoking one another, envying one another.
നാം അന്യോന്യം പോരിന്നു വിളിച്ചും അന്യോന്യം അസൂയപ്പെട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു വൃഥാഭിമാനികൾ ആകരുതു.
