Ezra 2

1 And these are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one to his city,

١ وَهَؤُلاءِ هُمْ أَهْلُ الْبِلادِ الَّذِينَ عَادُوا مِنَ السَّبْيِ، مِمَّنْ سَبَاهُمْ نَبُوخَذْنَصَّرُ مَلِكُ بَابِلَ إِلَى بَابِلَ، وَرَجَعُوا إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ وَيَهُوذَا، لِيُقِيمَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ فِي مَدِينَتِهِ.

2 who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Saraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

٢ وَقَدْ جَاءُوا بِقِيَادَةِ زَرُبَّابِلَ، وَيَشُوعَ، وَنَحَمْيَا، وَسَرَايَا، وَرَعْلايَا، وَمُرْدَخَايَ، وَبِلْشَانَ، وَمِسْفَارَ، وَبِغْوَايَ وَرَحُومَ، وَبَعْنَةَ. وَهَذَا بَيَانٌ بِالْعَائِدِينَ مِنْ شَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ:

3 The children of Parosh, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two.

٣ بَنُو فَرْعُوشَ: أَلْفَانِ وَمِئَةٌ وَاثْنَانِ وَسَبْعُونَ.

4 The children of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy-two.

٤ بَنُو شَفَطْيَا: ثَلاثُ مِئَةٍ وَاثْنَانِ وَسَبْعُونَ.

5 The children of Arah, seven hundred and seventy-five.

٥ بَنُو آرَحَ: سَبْعُ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسَةٌ وَسَبْعُونَ.

6 The children of Pahath-Moab, of the children of Jeshua [and] Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.

٦ بَنُو فَحَثَ مُوآبَ مِنْ نَسْلِ يَشُوعَ وَيُوآبَ: أَلْفَانِ وَثَمَانِي مِئَةٍ وَاثْنَا عَشَرَ.

7 The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty-four.

٧ بَنُو عِيلامَ: أَلْفٌ وَمِئَتَانِ وَأَرْبَعَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ.

8 The children of Zattu, nine hundred and forty-five.

٨ بَنُو زَتُّو: تِسْعُ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسَةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ.

9 The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty.

٩ بَنُو زَكَّايَ: سَبْعُ مِئَةٍ وَسِتُّونَ.

10 The children of Bani, six hundred and forty-two.

١٠ بَنُو بَانِي: سِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَاثْنَانِ وَأَرْبَعُونَ.

11 The children of Bebai, six hundred and twenty-three.

١١ بَنُو بَابَايَ: سِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَثَلاثَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ.

12 The children of Azgad, a thousand two hundred and twenty-two.

١٢ بَنُو عَزْجَدَ: أَلْفٌ وِمِئَتَانِ وَاثْنَانِ وَعِشْرُونَ.

13 The children of Adonikam, six hundred and sixty-six.

١٣ بَنُو أَدُونِيقَامَ: سِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَسِتَّةٌ وَسِتُّونَ.

14 The children of Bigvai, two thousand and fifty-six.

١٤ بَنُو بِغْوَايَ: أَلْفَانِ وَسِتَّةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ.

15 The children of Adin, four hundred and fifty-four.

١٥ بَنُو عَادِينَ: أَرْبَعُ مِئَةٍ وَأَرْبَعَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ.

16 The children of Ater of [the family of] Hezekiah, ninety-eight.

١٦ بَنُو آطِيرَ مِنْ نَسْلِ يَحَزَقِيَّا: ثَمَانِيَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ.

17 The children of Bezai, three hundred and twenty-three.

١٧ بَنُو بِيصَايَ: ثَلاثُ مِئَةٍ وَثَلاثَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ.

18 The children of Jorah, a hundred and twelve.

١٨ بَنُو يُورَةَ: مِئَةٌ وَاثْنَا عَشَرَ.

19 The children of Hashum, two hundred and twenty-three.

١٩ بَنُو حَشُومَ: مِئَتَانِ وَثَلاثَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ.

20 The children of Gibbar, ninety-five.

٢٠ بَنُو جِبَّارَ: خَمْسَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ. (وَقَدْ عَادَ مِنَ الْمُدُنِ التَّالِيَةِ الَّتِي عَاشَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فِيهَا):

21 The children of Bethlehem, a hundred and twenty-three.

٢١ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ لَحْمٍ: مِئَةٌ وَثَلاثَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ.

22 The men of Netophah, fifty-six.

٢٢ مِنْ أَهْلِ نَطُوفَةَ: سِتَّةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ.

23 The men of Anathoth, a hundred and twenty-eight.

٢٣ مِنْ أَهْلِ رِجَالِ عَنَاثُوثَ: مِئَةٌ وَثَمَانِيَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ.

24 The children of Azmaveth, forty-two.

٢٤ مِنْ أَهْلِ عَزْمُوتَ: اثْنَانِ وَأَرْبَعُونَ.

25 The children of Kirjath-arim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty-three.

٢٥ مِنْ أَهْلِ قَرْيَةِ عَارِيمَ كَفِيرَةَ وَبَئِيرُوتَ: سَبْعُ مِئَةٍ وَثَلاثَةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ.

26 The children of Ramah and Geba, six hundred and twenty-one.

٢٦ مِنْ أَهْلِ الرَّامَةِ وَجَبَعَ: سِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَوَاحِدٌ وَعِشْرُونَ.

27 The men of Michmas, a hundred and twenty-two.

٢٧ مِنْ أَهْلِ مِخْمَاسَ: مِئَةٌ وَاثْنَانِ وَعِشْرُونَ.

28 The men of Bethel and Ai, two hundred and twenty-three.

٢٨ مِنْ رِجَالِ بَيْتِ إِيلَ وَعَايَ: مِئَتَانِ وَثَلاثَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ.

29 The children of Nebo, fifty-two.

٢٩ مِنْ أَهْلِ نَبُو: اثْنَانِ وَخَمْسُونَ.

30 The children of Magbish, a hundred and fifty-six.

٣٠ مِنْ أَهْلِ مَغْبِيشَ: مِئَةٌ وَسِتَّةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ.

31 The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty-four.

٣١ مِنْ أَهْلِ عِيلامَ الآخَرِ: أَلْفٌ وَمِئَتَانِ وَأَرْبَعَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ.

32 The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.

٣٢ مِنْ أَهْلِ حَارِيمَ: ثَلاثُ مِئَةٍ وَعِشْرُونَ.

33 The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred and twenty-five.

٣٣ مِنْ أَهَالِي لُودٍ وَحَادِيدَ وَأُونُو: سَبْعُ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ.

34 The children of Jericho, three hundred and forty-five.

٣٤ مِنْ أَهْلِ أَرِيحَا: ثَلاثُ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسَةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ.

35 The children of Senaah, three thousand six hundred and thirty.

٣٥ مِنْ أَهْلِ سَنَاءَةَ: ثَلاثَةُ آلافٍ وَسِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَثَلاثُونَ.

36 The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred and seventy-three.

٣٦ أَمَّا الْكَهَنَةُ الرَّاجِعُونَ: فَبَنُو يَدْعِيَا مِنْ عَائِلَةِ يَشُوعَ: تِسْعُ مِئَةٍ وَثَلاثَةٌ وَسَبْعُونَ.

37 The children of Immer, a thousand and fifty-two.

٣٧ بَنُو إِمِّيرَ: أَلْفٌ وَاثْنَانِ وَخَمْسُونَ.

38 The children of Pashhur, a thousand two hundred and forty-seven.

٣٨ بَنُو فَشْحُورَ: أَلْفٌ وَمِئَتَانِ وَسَبْعَةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ.

39 The children of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.

٣٩ بَنُو حَارِيمَ: أَلْفٌ وَسَبْعَةَ عَشَرَ.

40 The Levites: the children of Jeshua and of Kadmiel, of the children of Hodaviah, seventy-four.

٤٠ وَهَذَا بَيَانٌ بِاللَّاوِيِّينَ الْعَائِدِينَ مِنَ السَّبْيِ: بَنُو يَشُوعَ وَقَدْمِيئِيلَ مِنْ نَسْلِ هُودُويَا: أَرْبَعَةٌ وَسَبْعُونَ.

41 The singers: the children of Asaph, a hundred and twenty-eight.

٤١ الْمُغَنُّونَ مِنْ بَنِي آسَافَ: مِئَةٌ وَثَمَانِيَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ.

42 The children of the doorkeepers: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, in all a hundred and thirty-nine.

٤٢ بَنُو حُرَّاسِ أَبْوَابِ الْهَيْكَلِ مِنْ نَسْلِ شَلُّومَ وَآطِيرَ وَطَلْمُونَ وَعَقُّوبَ وَحَطِيطَا وَشُوبَايَ: مِئَةٌ وَتِسْعَةٌ وَثَلاثُونَ.

43 The Nethinim: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth,

٤٣ وَمِنْ خَدَمِ الْهَيْكَلِ بَنُو صِيحَا وَحَسُوفَا وَطَبَاعُوتَ،

44 the children of Keros, the children of Siaha, the children of Padon,

٤٤ وَبَنُو قِيرُوسَ وَسِيعَهَا وَفَادُونَ،

45 the children of Lebanah, the children of Hagabah, the children of Akkub,

٤٥ وَلَبَانَةَ وَحَجَابَةَ وَعَقُّوبَ،

46 the children of Hagab, the children of Shamlai, the children of Hanan,

٤٦ وَحَاجَابَ وَشَمُلايَ وَحَانَانَ،

47 the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar, the children of Reaiah,

٤٧ بَنُو جَدِيلَ وَحَجَرَ وَرَآيَا،

48 the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda, the children of Gazzam,

٤٨ وَرَصِينَ وَنَقُودَا وَجَزَّامَ،

49 the children of Uzza, the children of Phaseah, the children of Besai,

٤٩ وَعُزَّا وَفَاسِيحَ وَبِيسَايَ،

50 the children of Asnah, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephusim,

٥٠ وَبَنُو أَسْنَةَ وَمَعُونِيمَ وَنَفُوسِيمَ،

51 the children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,

٥١ وَبَنُو بَقْبُوقَ وَحَقُوفَا وَحَرْحُورَ،

52 the children of Bazluth, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,

٥٢ وَبَنُو بَصْلُوتَ وَمَحِيدَا وَحَرْشَا،

53 the children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Thamah,

٥٣ وَبَنُو بَرْقُوسَ وَسِيسَرَا وَثَامَحَ،

54 the children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.

٥٤ وَبَنُو نَصِيحَ وَحَطِيفَا.

55 The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Peruda,

٥٥ وَعَادَ مِنَ السَّبْيِ مِنْ نَسْلِ خُدَّامِ سُلَيْمَانَ بَنُو سَوْطَايَ وَهَسُّوفَرَثَ وَفَرُودَا،

56 the children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,

٥٦ وَبَنُو يَعْلَةَ وَدَرْقُونَ وَجَدِّيلَ،

57 the children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth-Hazzebaim, the children of Ami.

٥٧ وَشَفَطْيَا وَحَطِّيلَ وَفُوخَرَةَ الظِّبَاءِ وَآمِي.

58 All the Nethinim and the children of Solomon's servants, three hundred and ninety-two.

٥٨ فَكَانَتْ جُمْلَةُ الْعَائِدِينَ مِنْ خُدَّامِ الْهَيْكَلِ وَبَنِي عَبِيدِ سُلَيْمَانَ ثَلاثَ مِئَةٍ وَاثْنَيْنِ وَتِسْعِينَ.

59 And these are they that went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub-Addan, Immer; but they could not shew their fathers' house, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.

٥٩ وَهَذَا بَيَانٌ بِالَّذِينَ قَدِمُوا مِنْ تَلِّ مِلْحٍ وَتَلِّ حَرْشَا وَكَرُوبَ وَأَدَّانَ وَإِمِّيرَ، مِمَّنْ عَجَزُوا عَنْ إِثْبَاتِ انْتِمَاءِ عَائِلاتِهِمْ إِلَى نَسْلِ إِسْرَائِيلَ:

60 The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobijah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred and fifty-two.

٦٠ بَنُو دَلايَا وَطُوبِيَّا وَنَقُودَا، وَجُمْلَتُهُمْ سِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَاثْنَانِ وَخَمْسُونَ.

61 And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.

٦١ وَمِنْ بَنِي الْكَهَنَةِ: بَنُو حَبَايَا وَهَقُّوصَ وَبَرْزِلّايَ الَّذِي تَزَوَّجَ إِحْدَى بَنَاتِ بَرْزِلّايَ الْجِلْعَادِيِّ، وَتَسَمَّى بِاسْمِهِمْ.

62 These sought their genealogical register, but they were not found; therefore were they, as polluted, removed from the priesthood.

٦٢ وَقَدْ بَحَثَ هَؤُلاءِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءِ عَائِلاتِهِمْ فِي سِجِلَّاتِ أَنْسَابِ الْكَهَنَةِ فَلَمْ يَعْثُرُوا عَلَيْهَا فَمُنِعُوا مِنْ خِدْمَةِ الْكَهَنُوتِ،

63 And the Tirshatha said to them that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.

٦٣ وَحَرَّمَ عَلَيْهِمِ الْحَاكِمُ الأَكْلَ مِنْ طَعَامِ الْكَهَنَةِ إِلَى أَنْ يَحْضُرَ كَاهِنٌ يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَسْتَخْدِمَ الأُورِيمَ وَالتُّمِّيمَ (لِيُعْلِنَ لَهُ الرَّبُّ صِحَّةَ نَسَبِهِمْ إِلَى الْكَهَنَةِ).

64 The whole congregation together was forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,

٦٤ فَكَانَ مَجْمُوعُ الرَّاجِعِينَ مِنَ السَّبْيِ: اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفاً وَثَلاثَ مِئَةٍ وَسِتِّينَ.

65 besides their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven; and they had two hundred singing men and singing women.

٦٥ فَضْلاً عَنْ عَبِيدِهِمْ وَإِمَائِهِمْ وَعَدَدُهُمْ سَبْعَةُ آلافٍ وَثَلاثُ مِئَةٍ وَسَبْعَةٌ وَثَلاثُونَ بِالإِضَافَةِ إِلَى مِئَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمُغَنِّينَ وَالْمُغَنِّيَاتِ.

66 Their horses were seven hundred and thirty-six; their mules two hundred and forty-five;

٦٦ وَكَانَ مَعَهُمْ مِنَ الْخَيْلِ سَبْعُ مِئَةٍ وَسِتَّةٌ وَثَلاثُونَ، وَمِنَ الْبِغَالِ مِئَتَانِ وَخَمْسَةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ،

67 their camels four hundred and thirty-five; the asses six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

٦٧ وَمِنَ الْجِمَالِ أَرْبَعُ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسَةٌ وَثَلاثُونَ، وَمِنَ الْحَمِيرِ سِتَّةُ آلافٍ وَسَبْعُ مِئَةٍ وَعِشْرُونَ.

68 And some of the chief fathers, when they came to the house of Jehovah which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in its place.

٦٨ وَتَبَرَّعَ بَعْضُ رُؤَسَاءِ الْعَائِلاتِ لَدَى وُصُولِهِمْ إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ لِبِنَاءِ بَيْتِ الرَّبِّ فِي مَوْقِعِهِ الأَصْلِيِّ،

69 They gave after their ability to the treasure of the work sixty-one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' coats.

٦٩ فَقَدَّمَ كُلٌّ مِنْهُمْ حَسَبَ طَاقَتِهِ لِخِزَانَةِ الْعَمَلِ، فَبَلَغَتْ تَبَرُّعَاتُهُمْ وَاحِداً وَسِتِّينَ أَلْفَ دِرْهَمٍ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ (نَحْوَ خَمْسِ مِئَةِ كِيلُو جِرَامٍ) وَخَمْسَةَ آلافٍ منّاً مِنَ الْفِضَّةِ (نَحْوَ ثَلاثَةِ أَطْنَانٍ) وَمِئَةَ قَمِيصٍ لِلْكَهَنَةِ.

70 And the priests, and the Levites, and [some] of the people, and the singers, and the doorkeepers, and the Nethinim dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.

٧٠ فَاسْتَوْطَنَ الْكَهَنَةُ وَاللّاوِيُّونَ وَبَعْضُ الشَّعْبِ وَالْمُغَنُّونَ وَحُرَّاسُ أَبْوَابِ الْهَيْكَلِ وَخُدَّامُهُ فِي مُدُنِهِمِ الْخَاصَّةِ بِهِمْ. أَمَّا بَقِيَّةُ شَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ فَتَوَزَّعُوا عَلَى مُدُنِهِمْ.
