< Ezekiel 6 >
1 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
Kiugo kĩa Jehova nĩkĩanginyĩrĩire, ngĩĩrwo atĩrĩ,
2 Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
“Mũrũ wa mũndũ, ngʼethera irĩma cia Isiraeli; cirathĩre ũhoro wa gũciũkĩrĩra,
3 and say, Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the water-courses and to the valleys: Behold, I, [even] I, do bring a sword upon you, and will destroy your high places.
ũciĩre atĩrĩ: ‘Inyuĩ irĩma cia Isiraeli, iguai kiugo kĩa Mwathani Jehova. Ũũ nĩguo Mwathani Jehova ekwĩra irĩma na tũrĩma, na mĩkuru na cianda: Niĩ ngirie kũmũũkĩrĩra na rũhiũ rwa njora, na nyanange kũndũ kwanyu kũrĩa gũtũũgĩru.
4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your sun-images shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain [men] before your idols;

6 In all your dwelling-places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your sun-images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
Kũndũ kũrĩa guothe mũtũũraga, matũũra macio nĩmakanangwo, na kũndũ kũrĩa gũtũũgĩru kũmomorwo, nĩguo igongona cianyu ithũkio na cianangwo, nayo mĩhianano yanyu ĩhehenjwo na yũnũhwo, o na igongona cianyu cia gũcinĩrwo ũbumba imomorwo, na kĩrĩa mũthondekete kĩniinwo.

8 Yet will I leave a remnant, in that ye shall have some escaped from the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.

9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they have been carried captives, when I shall have broken their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols; and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed, in all their abominations.
Ningĩ marĩ ndũrĩrĩ-inĩ kũu matwarĩtwo marĩ atahe-rĩ, arĩa makaahonoka nĩmakandirikana. 11 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Smite with thy hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the abominations of the iniquities of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
“‘Mwathani Jehova ekuuga atĩrĩ: Hũũra hĩ, na ũhũũrithie makinya thĩ, uugĩrĩrie uuge atĩrĩ, “Wũi!” Tondũ wa waganu wothe na ciĩko irĩ magigi cia nyũmba ya Isiraeli, nĩgũkorwo nĩmakooragwo na rũhiũ rwa njora, na ngʼaragu, na mũthiro.
12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that is left, and is besieged, shall die by the famine: and I will accomplish my fury upon them.
Mũndũ ũrĩa ũtũũraga kũraya akooragwo nĩ mũthiro, nake ũrĩa ũrĩ gũkuhĩ ooragwo na rũhiũ rwa njora, nake ũrĩa ũkaahonoka atigare, akooragwo nĩ ngʼaragu. Ũguo nĩguo ngeeruta mangʼũrĩ makwa nao.
13 And ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah, when their slain shall be among their idols, round about their altars, upon every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick terebinth, the places where they offered sweet savour to all their idols.
Nao nĩmakamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova, rĩrĩa andũ magaakorwo moragĩtwo marĩ gatagatĩ-inĩ ka mĩhianano ĩyo yao mathiũrũrũkĩirie igongona ciao, na handũ hothe hatũũgĩru, na tũcũmbĩrĩ tuothe twa irĩma, na rungu rwa mũtĩ o wothe waraganĩtie honge, na rungu rwa mũgandi o wothe mũruru, kũndũ guothe kũrĩa maarutagĩra mĩhianano yao mahuti manungi wega.
14 And I will stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness of Diblath, in all their dwellings; and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
Na niĩ nĩngamatambũrũkĩria guoko ndĩmookĩrĩre, na ndũme bũrũri wanangĩke ũtiganĩrio, kuuma werũ-inĩ ũcio nginya Dibila, kũndũ guothe kũrĩa matũũrĩte. Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩmakamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova.’”
