Ezekiel 44
1 And he brought me back toward the outer gate of the sanctuary which looked toward the east; and it was shut.
Hierauf führte er mich zurück in der Richtung nach dem äußeren gegen Osten gerichteten Tor des Heiligtums, das aber verschlossen war.
2 And Jehovah said unto me, This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, and no one shall enter in by it: for Jehovah, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it; and it shall be shut.
Da sagte der HERR zu mir: »Dieses Tor soll verschlossen bleiben, es darf nicht geöffnet werden, und niemand darf durch dasselbe eingehen; weil der HERR, der Gott Israels, hier eingezogen ist: darum soll es verschlossen bleiben!
3 As for the prince, he, the prince, shall sit in it to eat bread before Jehovah: he shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.
Nur der Fürst darf sich, eben weil er Fürst ist, darin niedersetzen, um das Opfermahl vor dem HERRN zu halten; auf dem Wege durch die Vorhalle des Tores soll er eintreten und auf demselben Wege wieder hinausgehen!«
4 And he brought me the way of the north gate before the house; and I beheld, and lo, the glory of Jehovah filled the house of Jehovah: and I fell upon my face.
Darauf führte er mich in der Richtung nach dem Nordtor an die Vorderseite des Tempelhauses; und als ich hinschaute, sah ich die Herrlichkeit des HERRN, die das Tempelhaus erfüllte. Als ich mich nun auf mein Angesicht niedergeworfen hatte,
5 And Jehovah said unto me, Son of man, apply thy heart, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the statutes of the house of Jehovah, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary;
sagte der HERR zu mir: »Menschensohn, gib genau acht und richte deine Augen und Ohren aufmerksam auf alles, was ich jetzt mit dir reden werde in bezug auf alle Verordnungen und Satzungen, die für den Tempel des HERRN Geltung haben sollen. Richte (zunächst) deine Aufmerksamkeit darauf, wie man in den Tempel an allen Ausgängen des Heiligtums eintreten soll.
6 and say to the rebellious, to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Let it suffice you of all your abominations, O house of Israel,
Sage also zum Hause Israel, zu diesem widerspenstigen Geschlecht: ›So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: Laßt es jetzt genug sein mit all euren Greueln, ihr vom Hause Israel!
7 in that ye have brought strangers, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to profane it, [even] my house, when ye offered my bread, the fat and the blood; and they have broken my covenant besides all your abominations.
Ihr habt Fremdlinge, an Herz und Leib unbeschnittene Leute, eintreten lassen, so daß sie in meinem Heiligtum waren und mein Haus durch ihre Anwesenheit entweihten, wenn ihr mir meine Speise, Fett und Blut, darbrachtet, und habt dadurch meinen Bund gebrochen zu all euren übrigen Greueln hinzu;
8 And ye have not kept the charge of my holy things, but have set keepers of my charge in my sanctuary for yourselves.
und statt selbst meines heiligen Dienstes zu warten, habt ihr sie an eurer Stelle zur Besorgung meines Dienstes in meinem Heiligtum bestellt.‹
9 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: No stranger, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.
Darum hat Gott der HERR so gesprochen: ›Kein Ausländer, der an Herz und Leib unbeschnitten ist, darf in mein Heiligtum kommen, keiner von allen Ausländern, die unter den Israeliten leben.
10 But the Levites who went away far from me, when Israel went astray, going astray from me after their idols, they shall even bear their iniquity;
Vielmehr die Leviten, die mir untreu geworden sind, als Israel abgeirrt war und nach seinem Abfall von mir hinter seinen Götzen herlief, die sollen ihre Schuld büßen.
11 but they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having oversight at the gates of the house, and doing the service of the house: they shall slaughter the burnt-offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them.
Sie sollen Dienste in meinem Heiligtum leisten als Wächter an den Tempeltoren und als Diener des Tempels; sie sollen die Brand- und Schlachtopfer für das Volk schlachten, und sie sollen ihnen (den Volksgenossen) zur Verfügung stehen, um ihnen Dienste zu leisten.
12 Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and were unto the house of Israel a stumbling-block of iniquity; therefore have I lifted up my hand against them, saith the Lord Jehovah, that they shall bear their iniquity.
Weil sie ihnen vor ihren Götzen Dienste geleistet haben und dadurch dem Hause Israel ein Anlaß zur Verschuldung geworden sind, darum habe ich meine Hand zum Schwur gegen sie erhoben‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN –, ›daß sie ihre Schuld büßen sollen.
13 And they shall not draw near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to draw near to any of my holy things, [even] to the most holy; but they shall bear their confusion, and their abominations which they have committed.
Sie dürfen mir nicht nahen, um Priesterdienste vor mir zu verrichten und um an alles, was mir heilig ist, an die hochheiligen Gegenstände, heranzutreten; sondern sie sollen ihre Schmach tragen und für die Greuel büßen, die sie verübt haben.
14 And I will make them keepers of the charge of the house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.
So will ich sie denn zu Wärtern für den Tempeldienst machen, zur Besorgung aller Obliegenheiten und alles dessen, was es in ihm zu tun gibt.‹«
15 But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall approach unto me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to present unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord Jehovah.
»›Aber die levitischen Priester, die Nachkommen Zadoks, die des Dienstes an meinem Heiligtum treu gewartet haben, als die Israeliten nach ihrem Abfall von mir irregingen, die sollen mir nahen, um mir zu dienen, und sollen vor mich hintreten, um mir Fett und Blut als Opfer darzubringen‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN.
16 They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall approach unto my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.
›Sie sollen in mein Heiligtum hineingehen, und sie sollen meinem Tische nahen, um mir zu dienen, und sollen meinen Dienst besorgen.
17 And it shall come to pass when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, when they minister in the gates of the inner court, and towards the house.
Wenn sie aber in die Tore des inneren Vorhofs eintreten, dann müssen sie leinene Gewänder anlegen; von Wolle dürfen sie nichts an sich haben, solange sie innerhalb der Tore des inneren Vorhofs und im Tempel Dienst tun.
18 They shall have linen tires upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird on anything that causeth sweat.
Kopfbunde von Leinen sollen auf ihrem Haupt sein und Beinkleider von Leinen an ihren Schenkeln; in schweißerregende Stoffe dürfen sie sich nicht kleiden.
19 And when they go forth into the outer court, into the outer court to the people, they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy cells; and they shall put on other garments, that they may not hallow the people with their garments.
Wenn sie jedoch in den äußeren Vorhof zum Volk hinausgehen, sollen sie ihre Gewänder, in denen sie den Dienst verrichtet haben, ausziehen und sie in den heiligen Zellen niederlegen und sollen andere Kleider anziehen, um nicht dem Volk durch ihre Kleider eine Weihe mitzuteilen.
20 Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to grow long: they shall duly poll their heads.
Ihr Haupt sollen sie nicht kahl scheren, aber auch das Haar nicht lang herabhängen lassen, sondern sie sollen ihr Haupthaar geschnitten tragen.
21 Neither shall any priest drink wine when they enter into the inner court.
Wein darf kein Priester trinken, wenn sie in den inneren Vorhof hineingehen wollen.
22 And they shall not take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away; but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that is the widow of a priest.
Mit einer Witwe oder einer entlassenen Frau dürfen sie sich nicht verheiraten, sondern nur mit Jungfrauen von israelitischer Herkunft; eine Witwe jedoch, die ein Priester als Witwe hinterlassen hat, dürfen sie heiraten.
23 And they shall teach my people [the difference] between holy and profane, and cause them to discern between unclean and clean.
Sie sollen mein Volk zwischen Heiligem und Unheiligem unterscheiden lehren und ihm den Unterschied von Unrein und Rein klarmachen.
24 And in controversy they shall stand to judge: they shall judge it according to my judgments; and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all my solemnities; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.
Bei Rechtshändeln sollen sie zu Gericht sitzen: auf Grund meiner Rechtsbestimmungen sollen sie entscheiden und meine Weisungen und Satzungen an allen meinen Festen beobachten und meine Sabbate heilig halten.‹«
25 And they shall come at no dead person to become unclean; but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister that hath had no husband, they may become unclean.
»An die Leiche eines Menschen dürfen sie nicht herantreten, weil sie sich dadurch verunreinigen würden; nur an der Leiche von Vater und Mutter, von Sohn und Tochter, von Bruder und Schwester, sofern diese unverheiratet geblieben ist, dürfen sie sich verunreinigen.
26 And after he is cleansed, they shall count unto him seven days.
Wenn der Betreffende dann wieder rein geworden ist, soll er sich noch sieben Tage abzählen;
27 And on the day that he goeth into the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall present his sin-offering, saith the Lord Jehovah.
und an dem Tage, an dem er das Heiligtum, nämlich den inneren Vorhof, wieder betritt, um im Heiligtum Dienst zu tun, soll er ein Sündopfer für sich darbringen‹« – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN.
28 And it shall be unto them for an inheritance; I am their inheritance: and ye shall give them no possession in Israel; I am their possession.
»›Erbbesitz sollen sie nicht haben: ich bin ihr Erbbesitz; und ein Besitztum sollt ihr ihnen in Israel nicht geben: ich bin ihr Besitztum!
29 They shall eat the oblation and the sin-offering and the trespass-offering; and every devoted thing in Israel shall be theirs.
Sie sind es, die das Speisopfer, das Sündopfer und das Schuldopfer verzehren sollen, und alles, was in Israel dem Bann verfällt, soll ihnen gehören.
30 And the first of all the first-fruits of every [kind], and every heave-offering of every [kind], of all your heave-offerings, shall be for the priests; ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest on thy house.
Auch das Beste von allen Erstlingen jedweder Art und alle eure Hebopfer jedweder Art ohne Ausnahme sollen den Priestern zufallen; und auch das Beste von eurem Schrotmehl sollt ihr dem Priester geben, damit Segen auf euren Häusern ruht.
31 The priests shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself, or of that which is torn, whether of fowl or of beast.
Fleisch von verendeten oder zerrissenen Tieren, seien es Vögel oder Vierfüßler, dürfen die Priester nicht essen.‹«
