Ezekiel 40

1 In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, on that same day the hand of Jehovah was upon me, and he brought me thither.

ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവാസത്തിന്റെ ഇരുപത്തിയഞ്ചാംവർഷം, വർഷത്തിന്റെ ആരംഭമാസത്തിൽ പത്താംതീയതി, നഗരത്തിന്റെ പതനത്തിനുശേഷം പതിന്നാലാംവർഷത്തിൽ അതേതീയതിതന്നെ യഹോവയുടെ കൈ എന്റെമേൽവന്ന് എന്നെ അവിടേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

2 In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain; and upon it was as the building of a city, on the south.

ദൈവികദർശനങ്ങളിൽ അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ ഇസ്രായേൽദേശത്തേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി വളരെ ഉയരമുള്ള ഒരു പർവതത്തിന്മേൽ നിർത്തി. അതിന്റെ തെക്കുവശത്ത് ഒരു പട്ടണംപോലെ തോന്നിക്കുന്ന കുറെ കെട്ടിടങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

3 And he brought me thither, and behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a flax-cord in his hand, and a measuring-reed; and he stood in the gate.

അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ ആ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി. അവിടെ ഞാൻ ഒരു പുരുഷനെ കണ്ടു, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ രൂപം വെങ്കലംപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം പ്രവേശനകവാടത്തിന്റെ അരികിൽ നിന്നു, കൈയിൽ ഒരു ചണച്ചരടും അളവുദണ്ഡും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

4 And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thy heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for in order that it might be shewn unto thee art thou brought hither. Declare to the house of Israel all that thou seest.

ആ പുരുഷൻ എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു: “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നിന്റെ കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു കാണുകയും ചെവികൊണ്ടു കേൾക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. ഞാൻ നിന്നെ കാണിക്കാൻ പോകുന്നതെല്ലാം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക; അതിനായിട്ടാകുന്നു നിന്നെ ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നത്. നീ കാണുന്നതെല്ലാം ഇസ്രായേൽജനത്തെ അറിയിക്കയും ചെയ്യുക.”

5 And behold, there was a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring-reed of six cubits, [each] of one cubit and a hand breadth. And he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.

ദൈവാലയം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രദേശംമുഴുവനും ചുറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു മതിൽ ഞാൻ കണ്ടു. ആ പുരുഷന്റെ കൈയിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന അളവുദണ്ഡിന്റെ നീളം ആറുമുഴമായിരുന്നു. അതിൽ ഓരോ മുഴത്തിനും ഒരു മുഴത്തെക്കാൾ നാലു വിരൽപ്പാടു കൂടുതലായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം മതിൽ അളന്നു. അതിന് ഒരുദണ്ഡു കനവും ഒരുദണ്ഡ് ഉയരവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

6 And he came to the gate which looked toward the east, and went up its steps; and he measured the threshold of the gate, one reed broad; and the other threshold one reed broad.

അതിനുശേഷം അദ്ദേഹം കിഴക്കോട്ടുള്ള കവാടത്തിൽച്ചെന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം അതിന്റെ പടികൾ കയറി കവാടത്തിന്റെ പ്രവേശനദ്വാരം അളന്നു. അതിന്റെ ആഴം ഒരു ദണ്ഡായിരുന്നു.

7 And [each] chamber was one reed long and one reed broad; and between the chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate, beside the porch of the gate within, was one reed.

അതിലെ കാവൽമാടങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരുദണ്ഡു നീളവും ഒരുദണ്ഡു വീതിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കാവൽമാടങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ തള്ളിനിൽക്കുന്ന മതിലുകൾക്ക് അഞ്ചുമുഴം കനമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പൂമുഖത്തിന് തൊട്ടടുത്ത് ആലയത്തിന് അഭിമുഖമായിട്ടുള്ള പടിവാതിലിന്റെ ആഴം ഒരു ദണ്ഡ് ആയിരുന്നു.

8 And he measured the porch of the gate within, one reed.

അതിനുശേഷം അദ്ദേഹം പ്രവേശനകവാടത്തിലെ പടിപ്പുര അളന്നു.

9 And he measured the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and the posts thereof, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward.

അത് എട്ടുമുഴവും അതിന്റെ കട്ടിളക്കാലുകൾ രണ്ടുമുഴവും ആയിരുന്നു. പ്രവേശനകവാടത്തിലെ പടിപ്പുര ആലയത്തിന് അഭിമുഖമായിരുന്നു.

10 And the chambers of the gate which was toward the east were three on this side and three on that side: they three were of one measure; and the posts on this side and on that side had one measure.

കിഴക്കേ കവാടത്തിന്റെ കാവൽമാടങ്ങൾ ഒരുവശത്തു മൂന്നും മറുവശത്തു മൂന്നും ആയിരുന്നു. ആ മൂന്നിൽ ഓരോന്നിനും ഒരേ അളവായിരുന്നു. ഓരോ വശത്തും തള്ളിനിൽക്കുന്ന മതിലിനും ഒരേ അളവുതന്നെ.

11 And he measured the breadth of the entry of the gate, ten cubits; [and] the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.

അതിനുശേഷം അദ്ദേഹം പ്രവേശനകവാടത്തിന്റെ വീതി അളന്നു. അതു പത്തുമുഴവും അതിന്റെ നീളം പതിമ്മൂന്നുമുഴവും ആയിരുന്നു.

12 And there was a border before the chambers of one cubit, and a border of one cubit on the other side; and the chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.

ഓരോ കാവൽമാടത്തിന്റെയും മുമ്പിൽ ഒരുമുഴം ഉയരമുള്ള ഒരു ഭിത്തി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കാവൽമാടങ്ങൾ ആറുമുഴം സമചതുരമായിരുന്നു.

13 And he measured the gate from the roof of [one] chamber to the roof [of the other], a breadth of five and twenty cubits, entry opposite entry.

അദ്ദേഹം ഒരു കാവൽമാടത്തിന്റെ മേല്പുരമുതൽ മറ്റേതിന്റെ മേല്പുരവരെ അളന്നു. അതു വാതിൽമുതൽ വാതിൽവരെ ഇരുപത്തിയഞ്ചുമുഴം ആയിരുന്നു.

14 And he made posts, sixty cubits, and by the post was the court of the gate round about.

അദ്ദേഹം തള്ളിനിൽക്കുന്ന ഭിത്തിയുടെ അകവശംമുഴുവനും അളന്നു. അത് അറുപതുമുഴം ആയിരുന്നു. ആലയാങ്കണത്തിലേക്കു തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്ന പടിപ്പുരവരെയുള്ള അളവായിരുന്നു ഇത്.

15 And from the front of the gate of the entrance unto the front of the porch of the inner gate were fifty cubits.

പ്രവേശനകവാടംമുതൽ അതിന്റെ പടിപ്പുരയുടെ അങ്ങേയറ്റംവരെയുള്ള ദൂരം അൻപതുമുഴം ആയിരുന്നു.

16 And there were closed windows to the chambers, and to their posts within the gate round about, and likewise to the projections; and the windows round about were inward; and upon [each] post were palm-trees.

കാവൽമാടത്തിനും കവാടത്തിനുള്ളിൽ തള്ളിനിൽക്കുന്ന ഭിത്തികൾക്കും ചുറ്റിലുമായി അഴിയുള്ള വീതികുറഞ്ഞ ജാലകങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; പടിപ്പുരയ്ക്ക് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുപോലെതന്നെ. ഈ ജാലകങ്ങൾ എല്ലാംതന്നെ അകത്തേക്കു തുറക്കുന്നവ ആയിരുന്നു. പുറത്തേക്കു തള്ളിനിൽക്കുന്ന ഭിത്തിയുടെ പ്രതലങ്ങളിൽ ഈന്തപ്പനകൾ കൊത്തി അലങ്കരിച്ചിരുന്നു.

17 And he brought me into the outer court, and behold, there were cells, and a pavement made for the court round about: thirty cells were upon the pavement.

അനന്തരം അദ്ദേഹം എന്നെ പുറത്തെ അങ്കണത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. അവിടെ ദൈവാലയാങ്കണത്തിനു ചുറ്റും മുറികളും ഓരോ കൽത്തളവും പണിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. കൽത്തളങ്ങളിൽ മുപ്പതു മുറികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

18 And the pavement was by the side of the gates, answering to the length of the gates, [namely] the lower pavement.

കൽത്തളം പ്രവേശനകവാടങ്ങളോടു ചേർന്നിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ നീളവും വീതിയും തുല്യം. ഇത് താഴത്തെ കൽത്തളം.

19 And he measured the breadth from the front of the lower gate unto the front of the inner court outside, a hundred cubits eastward and northward.

പിന്നെ അദ്ദേഹം താഴത്തെ കവാടത്തിന്റെ മുൻഭാഗംമുതൽ അങ്കണത്തിന്റെ പുറത്തെ മുൻഭാഗംവരെയുള്ള നീളം അളന്നു; അതു കിഴക്കോട്ടും വടക്കോട്ടും നൂറുമുഴം വീതമായിരുന്നു.

20 And the gate of the outer court, that looked toward the north, he measured its length and its breadth.

പിന്നെ അദ്ദേഹം പുറത്തെ അങ്കണത്തെ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുന്ന വടക്കേകവാടത്തിന്റെ നീളവും വീതിയും അളന്നു.

21 And its chambers were three on this side and three on that side; and its posts and its projections were according to the measure of the first gate: its length was fifty cubits, and breadth five and twenty cubits.

അതിന്റെ കാവൽമാടങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പുറത്തു മൂന്നും അപ്പുറത്തു മൂന്നും ആയിരുന്നു. ഇവയ്ക്കു പുറത്തേക്കു തള്ളിനിൽക്കുന്ന ഭിത്തികൾക്കും പൂമുഖത്തിനും ഉള്ള അളവ് ഒന്നാമത്തെ കവാടത്തിന്റേതുതന്നെ ആയിരുന്നു. അതിന്റെ നീളം അൻപതു മുഴവും വീതി ഇരുപത്തിയഞ്ചു മുഴവും ആയിരുന്നു.

22 And its windows, and its projections, and its palm-trees were according to the measure of the gate that looked toward the east; and they went up to it by seven steps; and the projections thereof were before them.

അതിന്റെ ജാലകങ്ങൾ, പൂമുഖം, ഈന്തപ്പനകൾകൊണ്ടുള്ള അലങ്കാരം എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് കിഴക്കോട്ട് അഭിമുഖമായുള്ള കവാടത്തിന്റെ അതേ അളവായിരുന്നു. അതിലേക്കു കയറുന്നതിന് ഏഴു പടികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പൂമുഖം അതിന് അഭിമുഖമായിരുന്നു.

23 And the gate of the inner court was opposite to the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate a hundred cubits.

അകത്തെ അങ്കണത്തിന്, കിഴക്കുഭാഗത്ത് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുപോലെതന്നെ വടക്കേ കവാടത്തിന് അഭിമുഖമായി ഒരു കവാടം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഒരു കവാടംമുതൽ എതിർദിശയിലെ കവാടംവരെയുള്ള അകലം അളന്നു; അത് നൂറുമുഴം ആയിരുന്നു.

24 And he brought me toward the south: and behold, there was a gate toward the south; and he measured its posts and its projections according to these measures.

അതിനുശേഷം അദ്ദേഹം എന്നെ തെക്കുവശത്തേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി, അവിടെയുള്ള തെക്കേ കവാടം ഞാൻ കണ്ടു. തെക്കേ ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ കട്ടിളക്കാലുകളും പൂമുഖവും അദ്ദേഹം അളന്നു. അവയുടെ അളവ് മറ്റുള്ള കവാടങ്ങളുടേതുതന്നെ.

25 And there were windows to it and to its projections round about, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.

ആ ജാലകങ്ങൾപോലെ ഇതിനും പൂമുഖത്തിനുചുറ്റും മറ്റു ദിക്കുകളിലേതുപോലെയുള്ള ജാലകങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവയുടെ നീളം അൻപതു മുഴവും വീതി ഇരുപത്തിയഞ്ചു മുഴവും ആയിരുന്നു;

26 And there were seven steps to go up to it; and its projections were before them; and it had palm-trees, one on this side and one on that side, upon its posts.

അതിലേക്കു കയറുന്നതിന് ഏഴു പടികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പൂമുഖം അതിന് അഭിമുഖമായിരുന്നു. അതിന് തള്ളിനിൽക്കുന്ന ഭിത്തികളുടെ മുഖത്ത് ഇരുവശത്തും ഈന്തപ്പനകളുടെ അലങ്കാരം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

27 And there was a gate to the inner court toward the south; and he measured from gate to gate toward the south, a hundred cubits.

അകത്തെ അങ്കണത്തിന് തെക്കോട്ട് അഭിമുഖമായി ഒരു കവാടം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. തെക്കോട്ട് ഒരു കവാടംമുതൽ മറ്റേ കവാടംവരെ അദ്ദേഹം അളന്നു; അതു നൂറുമുഴം ആയിരുന്നു.

28 And he brought me into the inner court by the south gate; and he measured the south gate according to these measures:

പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹം തെക്കേ കവാടത്തിൽക്കൂടി എന്നെ അകത്തെ അങ്കണത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി. അദ്ദേഹം തെക്കേ കവാടം അളന്നു. അതിനും മറ്റുള്ളവയുടെ അതേ അളവുകൾ ആയിരുന്നു.

29 and its chambers, and its posts, and its projections, according to these measures; and there were windows to it and to its projections round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

അതിന്റെ കാവൽമാടങ്ങൾക്കും ഇടത്തൂണുകൾക്കും പൂമുഖത്തിനും മറ്റുള്ളവയുടെ അതേ അളവുതന്നെ ആയിരുന്നു. ആ കവാടത്തിനും അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തിനും ചുറ്റും ജാലകങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അതിന് അൻപതുമുഴം നീളവും ഇരുപത്തിയഞ്ചുമുഴം വീതിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

30 And there were projections round about, twenty-five cubits long, and five cubits broad.

കവാടങ്ങളുടെ പൂമുഖങ്ങൾ ചുറ്റും ഇരുപത്തിയഞ്ചുമുഴം നീളവും അഞ്ചുമുഴം വീതിയും ഉള്ളവ ആയിരുന്നു.

31 And its projections were toward the outer court; and there were palm-trees upon its posts: and its ascent was [by] eight steps.

അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖം പുറത്തെ അങ്കണത്തിന് അഭിമുഖമായിരുന്നു. അതിന്റെ കട്ടിളക്കാലുകൾ ഈന്തപ്പനകളാൽ അലങ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. അതിലേക്കു കയറുന്നതിന് എട്ടു പടികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

32 And he brought me into the inner court toward the east; and he measured the gate according to these measures:

പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹം എന്നെ കിഴക്കുവശത്ത് അകത്തുള്ള അങ്കണത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി. അദ്ദേഹം ആ കവാടം അളന്നു. അതിന് മറ്റുള്ളവയുടെ അളവുകൾ ആയിരുന്നു.

33 and its chambers, and its posts, and its projections, according to these measures; and there were windows to it and to its projections round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

അതിന്റെ കാവൽമാടങ്ങൾക്കും ഇടത്തൂണുകൾക്കും പൂമുഖത്തിനും മറ്റുള്ളവയുടെ അതേ അളവുതന്നെ ആയിരുന്നു. ആ കവാടത്തിനും അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തിനും ചുറ്റും ജാലകങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അതിന് അൻപതുമുഴം നീളവും ഇരുപത്തിയഞ്ചുമുഴം വീതിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

34 And its projections were toward the outer court; and there were palm-trees upon its posts on this side and on that side: and its ascent was [by] eight steps.

അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖം പുറത്തെ അങ്കണത്തിന് അഭിമുഖമായിരുന്നു; ഈന്തപ്പനകൾ അതിന്റെ കട്ടിളക്കാലുകൾ ഇരുവശവും അലങ്കരിച്ചിരുന്നു. അതിലേക്കു കയറുന്നതിന് എട്ടു പടികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

35 And he brought me to the north gate, and he measured [it] according to these measures:

പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹം എന്നെ വടക്കേ കവാടത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് അത് അളന്നു. അതിന് മറ്റുള്ളവയുടെ അതേ അളവുകൾ ആയിരുന്നു.

36 its chambers, its posts, and its projections; and there were windows to it round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

അതിന്റെ കാവൽമാടങ്ങളും ഇടത്തൂണുകളും പൂമുഖങ്ങളും അപ്രകാരംതന്നെ അളവുള്ളവയായിരുന്നു. അതിനുചുറ്റും ജാലകങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതിന് അൻപതുമുഴം നീളവും ഇരുപത്തിയഞ്ചുമുഴം വീതിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

37 And its posts were toward the outer court; and there were palm-trees upon its posts, on this side and on that side: and its ascent was [by] eight steps.

അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖം പുറത്തെ അങ്കണത്തിന് അഭിമുഖമായിരുന്നു; ഈന്തപ്പനകൾ അതിന്റെ കട്ടിളക്കാലുകൾ ഇരുവശവും അലങ്കരിച്ചിരുന്നു. അതിലേക്കു കയറുന്നതിന് എട്ടു പടികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

38 And there was a cell and its entry by the posts of the gates; there they rinsed the burnt-offering.

അകത്തെ കവാടത്തിൽ ഓരോന്നിലും പൂമുഖത്തിനടുത്ത് വാതിലോടുകൂടിയ ഒരു അറ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഹോമയാഗത്തിനുള്ള മാംസം അവിടെയാണ് കഴുകിയിരുന്നത്.

39 And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt-offering and the sin-offering and the trespass-offering.

കവാടത്തിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്ത് ഇരുവശങ്ങളിലുമായി ഈരണ്ടു മേശകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അതിന്മേൽവെച്ചാണ് ഹോമയാഗവും പാപശുദ്ധീകരണയാഗവും അകൃത്യയാഗവും അറത്തിരുന്നത്.

40 And at the side without, at the ascent to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables:

കവാടത്തിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തിന്റെ പുറത്തെ മതിലിന്റെ സമീപത്തായി വടക്കേകവാടത്തിന്റെ പ്രവേശനത്തിലുള്ള പടികളുടെ അടുത്തായിത്തന്നെ രണ്ടു മേശയും പടികളുടെ മറുവശത്തായി വേറെ രണ്ടു മേശയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

41 four tables on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate, — eight tables, whereon they slew [the sacrifice],

ഇങ്ങനെ കവാടത്തിന്റെ ഒരുവശത്തു നാലും മറുവശത്തു നാലുമായി എട്ടു മേശ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവയുടെമേൽ യാഗങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളവ അറത്തിരുന്നു.

42 — and at the ascent, four tables of hewn stone, of a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high; whereon also they laid the instruments with which they slew the burnt-offering and the sacrifice.

ഹോമയാഗത്തിനുള്ള നാലു മേശയും ചെത്തിയ കല്ലുകൊണ്ടു നിർമിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഓരോന്നിനും ഒന്നരമുഴം നീളവും ഒന്നരമുഴം വീതിയും ഒരുമുഴം ഉയരവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഹോമയാഗത്തിനും മറ്റു യാഗങ്ങൾക്കുമുള്ളവ അറക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള ആയുധങ്ങൾ അവയുടെമേൽ വെച്ചിരുന്നു.

43 And the double hooks of a hand breadth were fastened round about within; and upon the tables [they put] the flesh of the offering.

അകത്ത് മതിലുകളിൽ ചുറ്റിലും നാലുവിരൽ നീളമുള്ള ഇരട്ടക്കൊളുത്തുകൾ തറച്ചിരുന്നു. ആ മേശകൾ യാഗത്തിനുള്ള മാംസം വെക്കുന്നതിനുവേണ്ടിയുള്ളവ ആയിരുന്നു.

44 And outside the inner gate were two cells in the inner court, one at the side of the north gate, and its front towards the south; the other was at the side of the south gate, the front towards the north.

അകത്തെ കവാടത്തിനു പുറത്ത് അകത്തെ അങ്കണത്തിൽത്തന്നെ ഗായകർക്കുള്ള രണ്ടു മുറികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഒന്ന് വടക്കേകവാടത്തിന്റെ പാർശ്വത്തിൽ തെക്കോട്ടു ദർശനമുള്ളതും മറ്റേത് തെക്കേ കവാടത്തിന്റെ പാർശ്വത്തിൽ വടക്കോട്ടു ദർശനമുള്ളതും ആയിരുന്നു.

45 And he said unto me, This cell whose front is towards the south is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house.

അദ്ദേഹം എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു: “തെക്കോട്ടു ദർശനമുള്ള മുറി ആലയത്തിന്റെ ചുമതലയുള്ള പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും

46 And the cell whose front is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, those who, from among the sons of Levi, approach unto Jehovah to minister unto him.

വടക്കോട്ടു ദർശനമുള്ള മുറി യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ ചുമതലയുള്ള പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കുംവേണ്ടിയുള്ളതാണ്. യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയോട് അടുത്തുചെന്ന് അവിടത്തെ മുമ്പാകെ ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യാൻ യോഗ്യതയുള്ള ലേവ്യർ, സാദോക്കിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ ഇവർമാത്രമായിരുന്നു.”

47 And he measured the court, the length a hundred cubits, and the breadth a hundred cubits, four square: and the altar was before the house.

പിന്നെ അദ്ദേഹം അങ്കണം അളന്നു: അത് നൂറുമുഴം നീളവും നൂറുമുഴം വീതിയുമുള്ള സമചതുരമായിരുന്നു. യാഗപീഠമോ, ആലയത്തിന്റെ മുൻവശത്തായിരുന്നു.

48 And he brought me to the porch of the house; and he measured the post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side; and the breadth of the gate, three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.

പിന്നെ അദ്ദേഹം എന്നെ ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; പൂമുഖത്തിന്റെ കട്ടിളക്കാലുകൾ അദ്ദേഹം അളന്നു. അവയ്ക്ക് ഇരുവശത്തും അഞ്ചുമുഴംവീതം വീതി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അതിന്റെ പ്രവേശനകവാടത്തിന്റെ വീതി പതിനാലുമുഴവും തള്ളിനിൽക്കുന്ന മതിലുകൾക്ക് മൂന്നുമുഴംവീതവും ഇരുവശങ്ങളിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

49 The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, even by the steps whereby they went up to it; and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and one on that side.

പൂമുഖത്തിന്റെ വീതി ഇരുപതു മുഴവും മുൻവശംമുതൽ പുറകുവശംവരെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു മുഴവും ആയിരുന്നു. അതിലേക്കു കയറുന്നതിനു പടികളുടെ ഒരുനിര ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കട്ടിളക്കാലിന്റെ ഇരുവശത്തും തൂണുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
