Ezekiel 36
1 And thou, son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Mountains of Israel, hear the word of Jehovah.
E tu, ó filho do homem, prophetiza aos montes de Israel, e dize: Montes de Israel, ouvi a palavra do Senhor.
2 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha! and, The ancient high places are become ours in possession;
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto diz o inimigo sobre vós: Ah! ah! até as eternas alturas são por nossa herança;
3 therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because, yea, because they have made [you] desolate, and have swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the remnant of the nations, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and in the defaming of the people:
Portanto, prophetiza, e dize: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto vos assolaram e devoraram em redor, para que vós ficasseis feitos herança do resto das nações, e estaes levantados em labios do paroleiro, e em infamia do povo,
4 therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah. Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the water-courses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and a derision to the remnant of the nations that are round about,
Portanto, ouvi, ó montes de Israel, a palavra do Senhor Jehovah: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah aos montes e aos outeiros, ás correntes e aos valles, aos logares assolados e solitarios, e ás cidades desamparadas, que se tornaram em rapina e em escarneo ao resto das nações que lhes estão em redor
5 — therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the remnant of the nations, and against the whole of Edom, which have appointed my land unto themselves for a possession with the joy of all [their] heart, with despite of soul, to plunder it by pillage.
Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Certamente no fogo do meu zelo fallei contra o resto das nações, e contra todo o Edom, que se appropriaram da minha terra, com alegria de todo o coração, e com menosprezo da alma, para ser lançada fóra á rapina
6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the water-courses and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the ignominy of the nations;
Portanto, prophetiza sobre a terra de Israel, e dize aos montes e aos outeiros, ás correntes e aos valles: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que fallei no meu zelo e no meu furor, porquanto levastes sobre vós o opprobrio dos gentios.
7 therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I have lifted up my hand, [saying, ] Verily the nations that are about you, they shall bear their shame.
Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eu levantei a minha mão, para que os gentios que vos estão em redor levem o seu opprobrio sobre si mesmos.
8 And ye mountains of Israel shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people Israel: for they are at hand to come.
Porém vós, ó montes de Israel, ainda produzireis o vosso ramo, e dareis o vosso fructo para o meu povo de Israel; porque estão para vir
9 For behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown.
Porque eis que eu estou comvosco; e eu me virarei para vós, e sereis lavrados e semeados.
10 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, the whole of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded.
E multiplicarei os homens sobre vós, a toda a casa de Israel, a toda ella: e as cidades serão habitadas, e as solidões serão edificadas.
11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast, and they shall increase and bring forth fruit; and I will cause you to be inhabited as [in] your former times, yea, I will make it better than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
E multiplicarei homens e bestas sobre vós, e se multiplicarão, e fructificarão: e vos farei habitar como d'antes, e o farei melhor que nos vossos principios; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.
12 And I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of children.
E farei andar sobre vós uns homens; o meu povo de Israel: elles te possuirão, e serás a sua herança, e nunca mais os desfilharás.
13 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because they say unto you, Thou devourest men, and hast bereaved thy nation,
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto vos dizem: Tu és uma terra que devora os homens, e és uma terra que desfilha os seus povos;
14 therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nation any more, saith the Lord Jehovah;
Por isso tu não devorarás mais os homens, nem desfilharás mais os teus povos, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
15 neither will I cause thee to hear the ignominy of the nations any more, and thou shalt not bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nation to fall any more, saith the Lord Jehovah.
E farei que nunca mais se ouça em ti a affronta dos gentios; nem levarás mais sobre ti o opprobrio das gentes nem mais desfilharás a tua nação, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
16 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
E veiu a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a woman in her separation.
Filho do homem, quando a casa de Israel habitava na sua terra, então a contaminaram com os seus caminhos e com as suas acções: como a immundicia de uma mulher separada, era o seu caminho perante o meu rosto.
18 And I poured out my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols.
Derramei pois o meu furor sobre elles, por causa do sangue que derramaram sobre a terra, e dos seus idolos, com que a contaminaram.
19 And I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
E os espalhei entre as nações, e foram espalhados pelas terras: conforme os seus caminhos, e conforme os seus tratos, os julguei.
20 And when they came to the nations whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when it was said of them, These are the people of Jehovah, and they are gone forth out of his land.
E, chegando ás nações para onde se foram, profanaram o meu sancto nome; porquanto se dizia d'elles: Estes são o povo do Senhor, e sairam da sua terra.
21 But I had pity for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations whither they went.
Porém os poupei por amor do meu sancto nome, o qual a casa de Israel profanou entre as nações para onde foi.
22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations whither ye went.
Dize portanto á casa de Israel: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Não é por vosso respeito que eu o faço, ó casa de Israel, porém pelo meu sancto nome, que profanaste entre as nações para onde vós fostes.
23 And I will hallow my great name, which was profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I [am] Jehovah, saith the Lord Jehovah, when I shall be hallowed in you before their eyes.
E eu sanctificarei o meu grande nome, que foi profanado entre as nações, o qual profanastes no meio d'ellas; e as nações saberão que eu sou o Senhor, diz o Senhor Jehovah, quando eu fôr sanctificado aos seus olhos
24 And I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.
E vos tomarei d'entre as nações, e vos congregarei de todas as terras, e vos trarei para a vossa terra.
25 And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your uncleannesses and from all your idols will I cleanse you.
Então espalharei agua pura sobre vós, e ficareis purificados: de todas as vossas immundicias e de todos os vossos idolos vos purificarei.
26 And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
E vos darei um coração novo, e porei dentro de vós um espirito novo; e tirarei o coração de pedra da vossa carne, e vos darei um coração de carne.
27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and keep mine ordinances, and ye shall do them.
E porei dentro de vós o meu espirito, e farei que andeis nos meus estatutos, e guardeis os meus juizos, e os façaes.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
E habitareis na terra que eu dei a vossos paes, e vós me sereis por povo, e eu vos serei por Senhor.
29 And I will save you from all your uncleannesses; and I will call for the corn and will multiply it, and lay no famine upon you.
E vos livrarei de todas as vossas immundicias; e chamarei o trigo, e o multiplicarei, e não trarei fome sobre vós.
30 And I will multiply the fruit of the trees and the increase of the field, so that ye may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
E multiplicarei o fructo das arvores, e a novidade do campo, para que nunca mais recebaes o opprobrio da fome entre as nações.
31 And ye shall remember your evil ways, and your doings which were not good, and shall loathe yourselves for your iniquities and for your abominations.
Então vos lembrareis dos vossos maus caminhos, e dos vossos tratos, que não foram bons; e tereis nojo em vós mesmos das vossas maldades e das vossas abominações.
32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord Jehovah, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.
Não é por amor de vós que eu faço isto, diz o Senhor Jehovah; notorio vos seja: envergonhae-vos, e ficae confusa sobre os vossos caminhos, ó casa de Israel.
33 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the day that I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities I will also cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded.
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: No dia em que eu vos purificar de todas as vossas maldades, então farei com que sejam habitadas as cidades e sejam edificadas as solidões.
34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it was a desolation in the sight of all that passed by.
E a terra assolada se lavrará, em logar de ser assolada aos olhos de todos os que passavam.
35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities [are] fortified [and] inhabited.
E dirão: Esta terra assolada ficou como jardim do Eden; e as cidades solitarias, e assoladas, e destruidas, estão fortalecidas e habitadas.
36 And the nations that shall be left round about you shall know that I Jehovah build the ruined places [and] plant that which was desolate: I Jehovah have spoken, and I will do [it].
Então saberão as nações, que ficarem de resto em redor de vós, que eu, o Senhor, reedifico as cidades destruidas, e planto o assolado: eu, o Senhor, o fallei, e farei.
37 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it unto them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Ainda por isso serei requerido da casa de Israel, que lh'o faça: multiplical-os-hei de homens, como a um rebanho.
38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her set feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
Como o rebanho sanctificado, como o rebanho de Jerusalem nas suas solemnidades, assim as cidades desertas serão cheias de rebanhos de homens; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
