Ezekiel 24
1 And in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
௧பாபிலோனின் சிறையிருப்பின் ஒன்பதாம் வருடம் பத்தாம் மாதம் பத்தாம் தேதியிலே யெகோவாவுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:
2 Son of man, write thee the name of the day, of this selfsame day: on this selfsame day the king of Babylon draws near to Jerusalem.
௨மனிதகுமாரனே, இந்த நாளின் பெயரையும், இந்தத் தேதியையும் நீ எழுதிவை, இந்தத் தேதியில்தானே பாபிலோன் ராஜா எருசலேமில் முகாமிட்டிருந்தான்.
3 And propose a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Set on the pot, set [it] on, and also pour water into it.
௩இப்போதும் நீ கலகவீட்டாருக்கு ஒரு உவமையைக் காண்பித்து, அவர்களை நோக்கி: யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், ஒரு கொப்பரையை அடுப்பிலே வைத்து, அதிலே தண்ணீரை ஊற்று.
4 Gather the pieces thereof into it, every good piece, the thigh and the shoulder; fill [it] with the choice bones:
௪எல்லா நல்ல இறைச்சி துண்டுகளான பின்னந்தொடைகளும் முன்னந்தொடைகளுமாகிய துண்டுகளைச் சேர்த்து அதிலே போடு; நல்ல எலும்புகளால் அதை நிரப்பு.
5 take the choice of the flock; and also [put] a pile of wood under it, for the bones; make it boil well, and let the bones of it seethe therein.
௫ஆட்டுமந்தையில் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டதை அதற்காகக் கொண்டுவந்து, எலும்புகளை அதின் கீழே குவித்து எரிக்கவேண்டும்; அதிலுள்ள எலும்புகளும் வேகத்தக்கதாக அதைப் பொங்கப்பொங்கக் காய்ச்சவேண்டும்.
6 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose rust is therein, and whose rust is not gone out of it! Bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it:
௬இதற்காகக் யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நுரை ஒட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறதும் நுரை நீங்காததுமாகிய கொப்பரை என்னப்பட்ட இரத்தம்சிந்திய நகரத்திற்கு ஐயோ, அதில் இருக்கிறதைக் துண்டுதுண்டாக எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோ; அதின்பேரில் சீட்டுப்போடகூடாது.
7 for her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the bare rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust.
௭அவளுடைய இரத்தம் அவள் நடுவில் இருக்கிறது; மண்ணிலே மறைந்துபோகும்படி அதைத் தரையிலே ஊற்றாமல் கற்பாறையிலே ஊற்றிப்போட்டாள்.
8 That it might cause fury to come up to execute vengeance, I have set her blood upon the bare rock, that it should not be covered.
௮நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுவதற்காகக் கோபத்தை காட்டும்படி நான் அவள் இரத்தத்தை மறைக்காமல் கன்மலையின்மேல் வைத்தேன்.
9 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
௯ஆதலால், யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இரத்தம்சிந்திய நகரத்திற்கு ஐயோ, நான் பெரிதான கட்டைகளைக் குவித்து எரியச்செய்வேன்.
10 Heap on the wood, kindle the fire, boil thoroughly the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
௧0அதிகமான விறகுகளை அடுக்கி, தீயை மூட்டு, இறைச்சியை முறுக வேகவைத்துச் சாறுகளை ஊற்று; எலும்புகளை எரித்துப்போடு.
11 Then set it empty upon its coals, that it may be hot, and the brass of it may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, [and] that its rust may be consumed.
௧௧பின்பு கொப்பரை காய்ந்து, அதின் கழிவு வெந்து, அதற்குள் இருக்கிற அதின் அழுக்கு உருகி, அதின் நுரை நீங்கும்படி அதை வெறுமையாகத் தழலின்மேல் வை.
12 She hath exhausted [her] labours, yet her great rust goeth not forth out of her: let her rust be in the fire.
௧௨அது மகா வருத்தத்தை உண்டாக்கியும், அதின் அதிகமான நுரை அதை விட்டு நீங்கவில்லை; அதின் நுரை நெருப்புக்கு உள்ளாகவேண்டியது.
13 In thy filthiness is lewdness, for I have purged thee, and thou art not pure. Thou shalt no more be purged from thy filthiness, till I have satisfied my fury upon thee.
௧௩உன்னுடைய அசுத்தத்துடன் முறைகேடும் இருக்கிறது; நான் உன்னைச் சுத்திகரித்தும், நீ சுத்தமாகாததினால், இனி என்னுடைய கடுங்கோபம் உன்னில் தணிந்துமுடியும் வரை உன்னுடைய அசுத்தம் நீங்கிச் சுத்திகரிக்கப்படமாட்டாய்.
14 I Jehovah have spoken [it]: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, nor will I repent. According to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord Jehovah.
௧௪யெகோவாகிய நான் இதைச் சொன்னேன், இது நிறைவேறும், நான் இதைச் செய்வேன்; நான் பின்வாங்குவதும் தப்பவிடுவதும் மனஸ்தாபப்படுவதும் இல்லை; உன்னுடைய வழிகளுக்கும் உன்னுடைய செய்கைகளுக்குத்தகுந்தபடி உன்னை நியாயந்தீர்ப்பார்களென்று யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
15 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
௧௫பின்னும் யெகோவாவுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:
16 Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke; yet thou shalt not mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.
௧௬மனிதகுமாரனே, இதோ, நான் உன்னுடைய கண்களுக்கு விருப்பமானவளை ஒரே அடியினாலே உன்னைவிட்டு எடுத்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்; ஆனாலும் நீ புலம்பாமலும் அழாமலும் கண்ணீர்விடாமலும் இரு.
17 Sigh in silence, make no mourning for the dead; bind thy turban upon thee, and put thy sandals upon thy feet, and cover not the beard, and eat not the bread of men.
௧௭அலறாமல் பெருமூச்சு விடு, துக்கம் கொண்டாடவேண்டாம்; உன்னுடைய தலைப்பாகையை உன்னுடைய தலையிலே கட்டி, உன்னுடைய காலணியை உன்னுடைய பாதங்களில் அணிந்துகொள்; உன்னுடைய தாடியை மூடாமலும் துக்கங்கொண்டாடுகிறவர்களின் உணவை சாப்பிடாமலும் இரு என்றார்.
18 — And I spoke unto the people in the morning; and at even my wife died. And I did in the morning as I was commanded.
௧௮விடியற்காலத்தில் நான் மக்களுடன் பேசினேன்; அன்று சாயங்காலத்தில் என்னுடைய மனைவி இறந்துபோனாள்; எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே விடியற்காலத்தில் செய்தேன்.
19 And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, which thou doest?
௧௯அப்பொழுது மக்கள் என்னை நோக்கி: நீர் செய்கிறவைகள் எங்களுக்கு எதற்கு அடையாளம் என்பதை எங்களுக்குத் தெரிவிக்கமாட்டீரா என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
20 And I said to them, The word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
௨0நான் அவர்களுக்கு மறுமொழியாக: யெகோவாவுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:
21 Say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and your soul's longing; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left behind shall fall by the sword.
௨௧நீ இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை நோக்கி, யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், இதோ, உங்களுடைய பலத்தின் முக்கியமும் உங்களுடைய கண்களின் விருப்பமும் உங்களுடைய ஆத்துமாவின் வாஞ்சையுமாகிய என்னுடைய பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தை நான் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்குகிறேன்; நீங்கள் விட்டுவந்த உங்களுடைய மகன்களும் உங்களுடைய மகள்களும் வாளால் விழுவார்கள்.
22 And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover the beard, neither eat the bread of men;
௨௨அப்பொழுது நான் செய்ததுபோல நீங்களும் செய்வீர்கள்; தாடியை மூடாமலும் துக்கங்கொண்டாடுகிறவர்களின் உணவை சாப்பிடாமலும் இருப்பீர்கள்.
23 and your turbans shall be upon your heads, and your sandals upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall waste away in your iniquities and moan one toward another.
௨௩உங்களுடைய தலைப்பாகைகள் உங்களுடைய தலைகளிலும், உங்களுடைய காலணிகள் உங்களுடைய கால்களிலும் இருக்கும்; நீங்கள் புலம்பாமலும் அழாமலும் இருந்து, உங்களுடைய அக்கிரமங்களில் வாடிப்போய், ஒருவரையொருவர் பார்த்துத் தவிப்பீர்கள்.
24 Thus Ezekiel shall be unto you a sign; according to all that he hath done shall ye do: when it cometh, then ye shall know that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.
௨௪அப்படியே எசேக்கியேல் உங்களுக்கு அடையாளமாக இருப்பான்; அவன் செய்தபடி எல்லாம் நீங்களும் செய்வீர்கள்; இப்படி வரும்போது நான் யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள் என்று சொல் என்று சொன்னார் என்றேன்.
25 And thou, son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereunto they lift up their soul, their sons and their daughters,
௨௫பின்னும் மனிதகுமாரனே, நான் எந்த நாளிலே அவர்களுடைய பலத்தையும், அவர்களுடைய அலங்காரத்தின் மகிழ்ச்சியையும், அவர்களுடைய கண்களின் விருப்பத்தையும், அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமாவின் விசேஷித்த வாஞ்சையையும், அவர்களுடைய மகன்களையும், அவர்களுடைய மகள்களையும் அவர்களைவிட்டு எடுத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறேனோ,
26 that in that day he that escapeth shall come unto thee, to cause [thine] ears to hear [it]?
௨௬அந்த நாளிலேதானே தப்பிவந்த ஒருவன் உன்னிடத்தில் வந்து உன்னுடைய காதுகள் கேட்கச் சொல்லுவான் அல்லவோ?
27 In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him that is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb. So shalt thou be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
௨௭அந்த நாளிலேதானே உன்னுடைய வாய் திறக்கப்பட்டு, நீ தப்பிவந்தவனுடன் பேசுவாய்; இனி மவுனமாக இருக்கமாட்டாய்; இப்படி நீ அவர்களுக்கு அடையாளமாக இருப்பாய்; நான் யெகோவா என்று அப்பொழுது அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்றார்.
