Ezekiel 22
1 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು,
2 And thou, son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? Yea, cause her to know all her abominations,
೨“ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ರಕ್ತಮಯವಾದ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಲು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದೆಯೋ? ಅದರ ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೀಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು,
3 and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: A city that sheddeth blood in her midst, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself.
೩ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ, ದಂಡನೆಯ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದುಕೊಂಡ ನಗರಿಯೇ! ನಿನ್ನ ಕೇಡಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಗೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ನಗರಿಯೇ!
4 Thou art become guilty by thy blood which thou hast shed, and hast defiled thyself with thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the nations, and a mocking unto all countries.
೪ನೀನು ಸುರಿಸಿದ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ಅಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗಿರುವೆ; ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ, ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದುಕೊಂಡು ದಂಡನೆಯ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿರುವೆ. ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೂಷಣೆಗೂ, ಸಕಲ ದೇಶಗಳ ಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
5 Those that are near, and those that are far from thee, shall mock thee, who art infamous [and] full of tumult.
೫ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ನಗರವೇ, ಗದ್ದಲಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾದ ನಗರಿಯೇ, ಹತ್ತಿರದವರೂ, ದೂರದವರೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುವರು.
6 Behold, the princes of Israel have been in thee to shed blood, each according to his power.
೬“‘ಇಗೋ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತ್ಯಾನುಸಾರ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತ ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.
7 In thee have they made light of father and mother; in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger; in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.
೭ನಿನ್ನವರು ತಾಯಿ ತಂದೆಗಳನ್ನು ತುಚ್ಛೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನಿನ್ನವರು ವಿದೇಶಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನಿನ್ನವರು ಅನಾಥರನ್ನೂ, ವಿಧವೆಯರನ್ನೂ ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
8 Thou hast despised my holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.
೮ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಪವಿತ್ರ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಾಡಿ ನಾನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದಿ.
9 In thee there have been slanderous men to shed blood; and in thee have they eaten upon the mountains; in the midst of thee they have committed lewdness;
೯ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಾಡಿಕೋರರು ರಕ್ತ ಹರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಿನ್ನವರು ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಜ್ಞಶೇಷವನ್ನು ತಿಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
10 in thee have they discovered their fathers' nakedness; in thee have they humbled her that was unclean in her separation.
೧೦ನಿನ್ನವರು ತಂದೆಗೆ ಮಾನಭಂಗ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧಳಾದವಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
11 And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour's wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father's daughter.
೧೧ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನೆರೆಯವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದುರಾಚಾರ ನಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನು ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿ ಸೊಸೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮಗಳೇ ಆದ ತಂಗಿಯ ಮಾನಭಂಗಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
12 In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast overreached thy neighbours by oppression, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord Jehovah.
೧೨ನಿನ್ನವರು ರಕ್ತ ಸುರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಲಂಚ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಿನ್ನವರು ಸಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಡ್ಡಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಲಾಭಕ್ಕೆ ಹಣಕೊಟ್ಟು ತಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವರನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿ, ದೋಚಿಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆತೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
13 And behold, I have smitten mine hand at thine overreaching which thou hast done, and at thy bloodshed which hath been in the midst of thee.
೧೩“‘ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ದೋಚಿಕೊಂಡ ಲಾಭವನ್ನೂ, ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಿದ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ನೋಡಿ ಕೈ ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
14 Shall thy heart endure, shall thy hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I Jehovah have spoken, and will do [it].
೧೪ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುವ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಗಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆಯೋ? ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆಯೋ? ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನಾನೇ ಇದನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಅದರಂತೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
15 And I will scatter thee among the nations, and disperse thee through the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.
೧೫ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದುರಿಸಿ, ದೇಶ ದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಹರಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೊಲಸನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನು.
16 And thou shalt be polluted through thyself in the sight of the nations, and thou shalt know that I [am] Jehovah.
೧೬ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನೇ ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವಿ; ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು.’”
17 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
೧೭ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು,
18 Son of man, the house of Israel is become dross to me: they are all copper, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace: they are become the dross of silver.
೧೮“ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶವೆಂಬ ಲೋಹವು ನನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಮಷವಾಗಿದೆ; ಕುಲುಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ತಾಮ್ರ, ತವರ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ, ಸೀಸ ಮತ್ತು ಕಂದು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.
19 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye are all become dross, therefore behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
೧೯ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ಕಲ್ಮಷವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವೆನು.
20 [As] they gather silver, and copper, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it, so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will lay you on and melt you.
೨೦ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ತಾಮ್ರ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ, ಸೀಸ, ತವರ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಲುಮೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ, ಊದಿ, ಉರಿಹತ್ತಿಸಿ, ಕರಗಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಉಗ್ರಕೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟು ಕರಗಿಸುವೆನು.
21 Yea, I will collect you, and blow upon you the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst thereof.
೨೧ಹೌದು, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿ, ಊದಲು ನೀವು ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಕರಗಿ ಹೋಗುವಿರಿ.
22 As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I Jehovah have poured out my fury upon you.
೨೨ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯು ಕುಲುಮೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಕರಗುವಂತೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರಗುವಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದಾತನು ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನಾನೇ ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು.’”
23 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
೨೩ಯೆಹೋವನು ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು,
24 Son of man, say unto her, Thou art a land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.
೨೪“ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಆ ನಾಡಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು, ‘ದೇವರ ಕೋಪದ ಈ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಶುದ್ಧಿಯಾಗದ ದೇಶ, ಮಳೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ದೇಶ.’
25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst of her like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they devour souls; they take away treasure and precious things; they increase her widows in the midst of her;
೨೫ಆ ನಾಡಿನೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಬೇಟೆಯನ್ನು ಸೀಳುತ್ತಾ ಗರ್ಜಿಸುವ ಸಿಂಹದಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನರಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ದೋಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಧವೆಯರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
26 her priests do violence to my law, and profane my holy things: they put no difference between the holy and profane, neither do they make known [the difference] between the unclean and the clean, and they hide their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
೨೬ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಯಾಜಕರು ನನ್ನ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಭಂಗಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಮೀಸಲಾದದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ, ಮೀಸಲಿಲ್ಲದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಭೇದವೆಣಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ವಿವೇಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
27 Her princes in the midst of her are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
೨೭ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಸುಲಿಗೆಗಾಗಿ ರಕ್ತ ಸುರಿಸಿ, ನರಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗುವವರಾಗಿ ಬೇಟೆಯನ್ನು ಸೀಳುವ ತೋಳಗಳಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
28 And her prophets have daubed for them with untempered [mortar], seeing vanity and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah! and Jehovah hath not spoken.
೨೮ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಇವರಿಗಾಗಿ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನೂ, ಸುಳ್ಳು ಕಣಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡದಿದ್ದರೂ, ‘ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ’ ಎಂದು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಣ್ಣ ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾರೆ.
29 The people of the land use oppression and practise robbery; and they vex the poor and needy, and oppress the stranger wrongfully.
೨೯ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿ ಸೂರೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ದೀನದರಿದ್ರರನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿ, ವಿದೇಶಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the fence, and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none.
೩೦“‘ನಾನು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡದಂತೆ ನನ್ನೆದುರಿಗೆ ದೇಶ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಪೌಳಿ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಬಿರುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಗಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ತಕ್ಕವನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ಯಾರೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ.
31 And I will pour out mine indignation upon them; I will consume them in the fire of my wrath: their own way will I recompense upon their head, saith the Lord Jehovah.
೩೧ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಧ್ವಂಸ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ದುರ್ನಡತೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ತಲೆಗೇ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.’ ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.”
