Ezekiel 11
1 And the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of Jehovah's house, which looketh eastward; and behold, at the door of the gate were five and twenty men; and I saw in the midst of them Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.
Potem duch uniósł mnie i zaprowadził do wschodniej bramy domu PANA, która jest zwrócona na wschód. A oto u wejścia tej bramy [było] dwudziestu pięciu mężczyzn, wśród których zobaczyłem Jaazaniasza, syna Azzura, i Pelatiasza, syna Benajasza, książąt ludu.
2 And he said unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise iniquity, and give wicked counsel in this city:
Wtedy powiedział mi: Synu człowieczy, to są mężczyźni, [którzy] obmyślają nieprawość i dają złe rady w tym mieście;
3 who say, It is not the time to build houses: this is the cauldron, and we are the flesh.
Mówią: To nie tak blisko, budujmy domy. Oto [miasto] jest kotłem, a my – mięsem.
4 Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, son of man.
Dlatego prorokuj przeciwko nim, prorokuj, synu człowieczy!
5 And the Spirit of Jehovah fell on me, and said unto me, Speak, Thus saith Jehovah: Thus have ye said, O house of Israel; and the things that come into your mind, I know them.
Wtedy zstąpił na mnie Duch PANA i powiedział do mnie: Mów: Tak mówi PAN: Tak mówiliście, domu Izraela. Znam bowiem wszystko, co wam przychodzi na myśl.
6 Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.
Zabiliście wielkie mnóstwo [ludzi] w tym mieście i napełniliście ulice zabitymi.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and it is the cauldron; but you will I bring forth out of the midst of it.
Dlatego tak mówi Pan BÓG: Wasi zabici, których położyliście w środku miasta, są mięsem, a miasto – kotłem. Lecz wyprowadzę was z niego.
8 Ye have feared the sword, and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord Jehovah.
Baliście się miecza, a ja sprowadzę na was miecz, mówi Pan BÓG.
9 And I will bring you out of the midst of it, and give you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.
A wyprowadzę was z niego, wydam was w ręce obcych i wykonam nad wami sądy.
10 Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the borders of Israel; and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
Padniecie od miecza, osądzę was na granicy Izraela i dowiecie się, że ja jestem PANEM.
11 This shall not be your cauldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst of it: I will judge you in the borders of Israel;
Miasto nie będzie dla was kotłem ani wy nie będziecie w nim mięsem; na granicy Izraela osądzę was.
12 and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah, in whose statutes ye have not walked, neither have done mine ordinances, but have done after the ordinances of the nations that are round about you.
I dowiecie się, że ja jestem PANEM, ponieważ nie postępowaliście według moich ustaw, nie wykonaliście moich sądów, ale czyniliście według sądów tych pogan, którzy [są] dokoła was.
13 And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. And I fell down on my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah, Lord Jehovah! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?
A gdy prorokowałem, umarł Pelatiasz, syn Benajasza. Wtedy upadłem na twarz i zawołałem donośnym głosem: Ach, Panie BOŻE! Czy doszczętnie wyniszczysz resztkę Izraela?
14 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
I doszło do mnie słowo PANA mówiące:
15 Son of man, [it is] thy brethren, thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel, the whole of it, unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem say, Get you far from Jehovah: unto us is this land given for a possession.
Synu człowieczy, twoi bracia, [właśnie] twoi bracia, twoi krewni i cały dom Izraela [są tymi], do których mówili mieszkańcy Jerozolimy: Oddalcie się od PANA. Nam została dana ta ziemia w posiadanie.
16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Although I have removed them far off among the nations, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries whither they are come.
Dlatego mów: Tak mówi Pan BÓG: Chociaż wygnałem ich daleko pomiędzy pogan i chociaż rozproszyłem ich po krajach, jednak przez krótki czas będę dla nich świątynią w krajach, do których przybędą.
17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where ye are scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
Dlatego mów: Tak mówi Pan BÓG: Zgromadzę was z pogan i zbiorę was z krajów, do których zostaliście rozproszeni, i dam wam ziemię Izraela.
18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away from thence all its detestable things and all its abominations.
Wejdą tam i usuną z niej wszystkie jej plugastwa i wszystkie jej obrzydliwości.
19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh;
I dam im jedno serce, i włożę nowego ducha w wasze wnętrze; usunę z ich ciała serce kamienne, a dam im serce mięsiste;
20 that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
Aby postępowali według moich ustaw i strzegli moich sądów oraz czynili je. I będą moim ludem, a ja będę ich Bogiem.
21 But as for them whose heart walketh well-pleased with their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their heads, saith the Lord Jehovah.
Ale co do tych, których serce chodzi za żądzami ich plugastw i obrzydliwości, złożę im na głowę ich własną drogę, mówi Pan BÓG.
22 And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and the wheels were beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
Wtedy cherubiny podniosły swoje skrzydła i wraz z nimi koła, a chwała Boga Izraela [była] nad nimi u góry.
23 And the glory of Jehovah went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.
I odeszła chwała PANA z pośrodku miasta, i stanęła na górze, która [jest] na wschód od miasta.
24 And the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity; and the vision that I had seen went up from me.
A duch uniósł mnie i przyprowadził w widzeniu przez Ducha Bożego do ziemi Chaldei, do pojmanych. I odeszło ode mnie widzenie, które miałem.
25 And I spoke unto them of the captivity all the things that Jehovah had shewn me.
Następnie opowiedziałem pojmanym te wszystkie rzeczy, które PAN mi ukazał.
