Ephesians 1
1 Paul, apostle of Jesus Christ by God's will, to the saints and faithful in Christ Jesus who are at Ephesus.

2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
asmaaka. m taatasye"svarasya prabho ryii"sukhrii. s.tasya caanugraha. h "saanti"sca yu. smaasu varttataa. m|
3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ;
asmaaka. m prabho ryii"so. h khrii. s.tasya taata ii"svaro dhanyo bhavatu; yata. h sa khrii. s.tenaasmabhya. m sarvvam aadhyaatmika. m svargiiyavara. m dattavaan|
4 according as he has chosen us in him before [the] world's foundation, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love;
vaya. m yat tasya samak. sa. m premnaa pavitraa ni. skala"nkaa"sca bhavaamastadartha. m sa jagata. h s. r.s. te puurvva. m tenaasmaan abhirocitavaan, nijaabhila. sitaanurodhaacca
5 having marked us out beforehand for adoption through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
yii"sunaa khrii. s.tena svasya nimitta. m putratvapade. asmaan svakiiyaanugrahasya mahattvasya pra"sa. msaartha. m puurvva. m niyuktavaan|
6 to [the] praise of [the] glory of his grace, wherein he has taken us into favour in the Beloved:
tasmaad anugrahaat sa yena priyatamena putre. naasmaan anug. rhiitavaan,
7 in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of offences, according to the riches of his grace;
vaya. m tasya "so. nitena muktim arthata. h paapak. samaa. m labdhavanta. h|
8 which he has caused to abound towards us in all wisdom and intelligence,
tasya ya iid. r"so. anugrahanidhistasmaat so. asmabhya. m sarvvavidha. m j naana. m buddhi nca baahulyaruupe. na vitaritavaan|
9 having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself
svargap. rthivyo ryadyad vidyate tatsarvva. m sa khrii. s.te sa. mgrahii. syatiiti hitai. si. naa
10 for [the] administration of the fulness of times; to head up all things in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things upon the earth; in him,
tena k. rto yo manoratha. h sampuur. nataa. m gatavatsu samaye. su saadhayitavyastamadhi sa svakiiyaabhilaa. sasya niguu. dha. m bhaavam asmaan j naapitavaan|
11 in whom we have also obtained an inheritance, being marked out beforehand according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his own will,
puurvva. m khrii. s.te vi"svaasino ye vayam asmatto yat tasya mahimna. h pra"sa. msaa jaayate,
12 that we should be to [the] praise of his glory who have pre-trusted in the Christ:
tadartha. m ya. h svakiiyecchaayaa. h mantra. naata. h sarvvaa. ni saadhayati tasya manorathaad vaya. m khrii. s.tena puurvva. m niruupitaa. h santo. adhikaari. no jaataa. h|
13 in whom ye also [have trusted], having heard the word of the truth, the glad tidings of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, ye have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
yuuyamapi satya. m vaakyam arthato yu. smatparitraa. nasya susa. mvaada. m ni"samya tasminneva khrii. s.te vi"svasitavanta. h pratij naatena pavitre. naatmanaa mudrayevaa"nkitaa"sca|
14 who is [the] earnest of our inheritance to the redemption of the acquired possession to [the] praise of his glory.
yatastasya mahimna. h prakaa"saaya tena kriitaanaa. m lokaanaa. m mukti ryaavanna bhavi. syati taavat sa aatmaasmaakam adhikaaritvasya satya"nkaarasya pa. nasvaruupo bhavati|
15 Wherefore I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which [is] in you, and the love which [ye have] towards all the saints,
prabhau yii"sau yu. smaaka. m vi"svaasa. h sarvve. su pavitraloke. su prema caasta iti vaarttaa. m "srutvaahamapi
16 do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention [of you] at my prayers,
yu. smaanadhi nirantaram ii"svara. m dhanya. m vadan praarthanaasamaye ca yu. smaan smaran varamima. m yaacaami|
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you [the] spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of him,
asmaaka. m prabho ryii"sukhrii. s.tasya taato ya. h prabhaavaakara ii"svara. h sa svakiiyatattvaj naanaaya yu. smabhya. m j naanajanakam prakaa"sitavaakyabodhaka ncaatmaana. m deyaat|
18 being enlightened in the eyes of your heart, so that ye should know what is the hope of his calling, [and] what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
yu. smaaka. m j naanacak. suu. m.si ca diiptiyuktaani k. rtvaa tasyaahvaana. m kiid. r"syaa pratyaa"sayaa sambalita. m pavitralokaanaa. m madhye tena datto. adhikaara. h kiid. r"sa. h prabhaavanidhi rvi"svaasi. su caasmaasu prakaa"samaanasya
19 and what the surpassing greatness of his power towards us who believe, according to the working of the might of his strength,
tadiiyamahaaparaakramasya mahatva. m kiid. rg anupama. m tat sarvva. m yu. smaan j naapayatu|
20 [in] which he wrought in the Christ [in] raising him from among [the] dead, and he set him down at his right hand in the heavenlies,
yata. h sa yasyaa. h "sakte. h prabalataa. m khrii. s.te prakaa"sayan m. rtaga. namadhyaat tam utthaapitavaan,
21 above every principality, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in that to come; (aiōn g165)
adhipatitvapada. m "saasanapada. m paraakramo raajatva ncetinaamaani yaavanti padaaniiha loke paraloke ca vidyante te. saa. m sarvve. saam uurddhve svarge nijadak. si. napaar"sve tam upave"sitavaan, (aiōn g165)
22 and has put all things under his feet, and gave him [to be] head over all things to the assembly,
sarvvaa. ni tasya cara. nayoradho nihitavaan yaa samitistasya "sariira. m sarvvatra sarvve. saa. m puurayitu. h puuraka nca bhavati ta. m tasyaa muurddhaana. m k. rtvaa
23 which is his body, the fulness of him who fills all in all:
sarvve. saam uparyyupari niyuktavaa. m"sca saiva "saktirasmaasvapi tena prakaa"syate|
