Ephesians 2
1 and you, being dead in your offences and sins —
तुम अपने अपराधों और पापों में मरे हुए थे,
2 in which ye once walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience: (aiōn g165)
जिनमें तुम पहले इस संसार के अनुसार और आकाशमंडल के अधिकारी, उस आत्मा के अनुसार जी रहे थे, जो आत्मा अब भी आज्ञा न माननेवालों में काम कर रहा है. (aiōn g165)
3 among whom we also all once had our conversation in the lusts of our flesh, doing what the flesh and the thoughts willed to do, and were children, by nature, of wrath, even as the rest:
एक समय था जब हम भी इन्हीं में थे और अपनी वासनाओं में लीन रहते थे, शरीर और मन की अभिलाषाओं को पूरा करने में लगे हुए अन्यों के समान क्रोध की संतान थे
4 but God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love wherewith he loved us,
परंतु दया में धनी परमेश्वर ने अपने अपार प्रेम के कारण,
5 (we too being dead in offences, ) has quickened us with the Christ, (ye are saved by grace, )
जब हम अपने अपराधों में मरे हुए थे, मसीह में हमें जीवित किया—उद्धार तुम्हें अनुग्रह ही से प्राप्त हुआ है.
6 and has raised [us] up together, and has made [us] sit down together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,
परमेश्वर ने हमें मसीह येशु में जीवित किया और स्वर्गीय राज्य में उन्हीं के साथ बैठाया,
7 that he might display in the coming ages the surpassing riches of his grace in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)
कि वह आनेवाले समयों में अपने अनुग्रह का उत्तम धन मसीह येशु में हमारे लिए की गई कृपा में दिखा सकें. (aiōn g165)
8 For ye are saved by grace, through faith; and this not of yourselves; it is God's gift:
क्योंकि अनुग्रह ही से, विश्वास के द्वारा तुम्हें उद्धार प्राप्त हुआ है. यह तुम्हारे कारण नहीं, बल्कि परमेश्वर का वरदान है,
9 not on the principle of works, that no one might boast.
और यह कामों का प्रतिफल नहीं है कि कोई गर्व करे,
10 For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has before prepared that we should walk in them.
क्योंकि हम परमेश्वर द्वारा पहले से ठहराए हुए भले कामों के लिए मसीह येशु में रचे गए परमेश्वर की रचना हैं.
11 Wherefore remember that ye, once nations in [the] flesh, who [are] called uncircumcision by that called circumcision in [the] flesh done with the hand;
इसलिये याद रखो कि तुम, जो अपने जन्म से गैर-यहूदी हो, जिन्हें ख़तनित लोग खतना-रहित कहते हैं—ख़तना, जो शरीर में मनुष्य द्वारा किया जाता है
12 that ye were at that time without Christ, aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
याद रखो तुम उस समय संसार में मसीह से अलग, इस्राएल की नागरिकता से निकाले गए, प्रतिज्ञा की वाचाओं से अपरिचित, आशाहीन और परमेश्वर से रहित थे.
13 but now in Christ Jesus ye who once were afar off are become nigh by the blood of the Christ.
एक समय था जब तुम दूर थे, किंतु अब मसीह येशु में उनके लहू के द्वारा पास लाए गए हो.
14 For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of enclosure,
वह स्वयं हमारा मेल हैं, क्योंकि उन्होंने अपने शरीर में दोनों समूहों के बीच की दीवार को ढाह कर दोनों को एक कर दिया,
15 having annulled the enmity in his flesh, the law of commandments in ordinances, that he might form the two in himself into one new man, making peace;
वह उन्होंने आदेशों की व्यवस्था जिसकी आज्ञाएं विधियों की रीति पर थी मिटा दी कि इसके द्वारा वह स्वयं में उन दो के स्थान पर एक नए मनुष्य को बनाकर मेल-मिलाप की स्थापना करें,
16 and might reconcile both in one body to God by the cross, having by it slain the enmity;
और क्रूस के द्वारा एक शरीर में हम दोनों का परमेश्वर से मेल-मिलाप करा सकें कि शत्रुता समाप्त की जा सके.
17 and, coming, he has preached the glad tidings of peace to you who [were] afar off, and [the glad tidings of] peace to those [who were] nigh.
वह आए और उन्हें, जो दूर थे और उन्हें भी, जो पास थे, शांति का संदेश सुनाया.
18 For through him we have both access by one Spirit to the Father.
क्योंकि उन्हीं में होकर एक ही आत्मा में दोनों ही की पहुंच पिता परमेश्वर तक है.
19 So then ye are no longer strangers and foreigners, but ye are fellow-citizens of the saints, and of the household of God,
इसलिये अब तुम परदेशी और मुसाफिर नहीं, परंतु परमेश्वर के पवित्र लोगों के साथ सहनागरिक और परमेश्वर के परिवार के हो,
20 being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the corner-stone,
जिसकी संरचना प्रेरितों और भविष्यद्वक्ताओं द्वारा रखी गई नींव पर हुई, जिसकी आधारशिला स्वयं मसीह येशु हैं.
21 in whom all [the] building fitted together increases to a holy temple in the Lord;
जिनमें सारी भवन की रचना एक साथ मिलकर प्रभु के लिए पवित्र मंदिर होने के लिए बढ़ती जाती है.
22 in whom ye also are built together for a habitation of God in [the] Spirit.
जिनमें तुम सभी परमेश्वर का निवास स्थान होने के लिए पवित्र आत्मा द्वारा संयोजित किए जाते हुए बनाए जा रहे हो.
