Acts 1
1 I composed the first discourse, O Theophilus, concerning all things which Jesus began both to do and to teach,
၁အို သော်ဖိလု၊ သခင်ယေရှုသည်အမှုတော်ကိုစတင်ဆောင်ရွက် သည့်နေ့မှအစပြု၍ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံသို့ဆောင် ယူခြင်းကိုခံတော်မူသည့်နေ့တိုင်အောင် ပြုမူ သွန်သင်တော်မူသမျှတို့ကိုကျွန်ုပ်၏ပထမ စာစောင်တွင်ရေးသားဖော်ပြခဲ့ပါပြီ။ ကိုယ် တော်သည်ကောင်းကင်ဘုံသို့ဆောင်ယူခြင်း ကိုခံတော်မမူမီ ရွေးကောက်ထားတော် မူသောတမန်တော်တို့အား သန့်ရှင်းသော ဝိညာဉ်တော်၏တန်ခိုးအားဖြင့်ညွှန်ကြား တော်မူ၏။-
2 until that day in which, having by the Holy Spirit charged the apostles whom he had chosen, he was taken up;
၂
3 to whom also he presented himself living, after he had suffered, with many proofs; being seen by them during forty days, and speaking of the things which concern the kingdom of God;
၃ကိုယ်တော်သည်အသေခံတော်မူပြီးနောက် အရက်လေးဆယ်အတွင်းတမန်တော်တို့ အားအကြိမ်ပေါင်းများစွာကိုယ်ထင်ပြ၍ မိမိအသက်ရှင်လျက်ရှိတော်မူကြောင်း ခိုင်လုံသောအထောက်အထားများကိုပေး တော်မူ၏။ တမန်တော်တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော် ကိုတွေ့မြင်ရကြ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်လည်း သူတို့အားဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံတော် အကြောင်းကိုဟောပြောသွန်သင်တော်မူ၏။-
4 and, being assembled with [them], commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to await the promise of the Father, which [said he] ye have heard of me.
၄သူတို့သည်စုရုံးလာကြသောအခါကိုယ်တော် က``ယေရုရှလင်မြို့မှထွက်ခွာ၍မသွားကြ နှင့်။ ခမည်းတော်ကတိထားတော်မူသည့်ဆု ကျေးဇူးကိုစောင့်မျှော်လျက်နေကြလော့။ ထို ဆုကျေးဇူးအကြောင်းကိုယခင်ကသင်တို့ အားငါဖော်ပြခဲ့၏။-
5 For John indeed baptised with water, but ye shall be baptised with the Holy Spirit after now not many days.
၅ယောဟန်သည်ရေဖြင့်ဗတ္တိဇံကိုပေး၏။ သို့ရာ တွင်သင်တို့မူကားရက်အနည်းငယ်အတွင်း၌ သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်ဖြင့်ဗတ္တိဇံကိုခံယူကြ ရလတ္တံ့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
6 They therefore, being come together, asked him saying, Lord, is it at this time that thou restorest the kingdom to Israel?
၆တမန်တော်တို့သည်စုဝေးမိကြသောအခါ ကိုယ်တော်အား``သခင်ဘုရား၊ ဤအချိန်ကား ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အား မိမိတို့၏ နိုင်ငံကိုကိုယ်တော်ရှင်ပြန်လည်ပေးအပ်မည့် အချိန်ဖြစ်ပါသလော'' ဟုမေးလျှောက်ကြ၏။
7 And he said to them, It is not yours to know times or seasons, which the Father has placed in his own authority;
၇ကိုယ်တော်က``ခမည်းတော်၏တန်ခိုးအာဏာ အားဖြင့် စီရင်ပြဋ္ဌာန်းထားသည့်အချိန်အခါ ကိုသင်တို့သိပိုင်ခွင့်မရှိ။-
8 but ye will receive power, the Holy Spirit having come upon you, and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
၈သို့ရာတွင်သင်တို့အပေါ်သို့သန့်ရှင်းသော ဝိညာဉ်တော်သက်ရောက်သောအခါ၌ သင်တို့ သည်တန်ခိုးကိုခံယူရရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထို အခါသင်တို့သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၊ ယုဒ ပြည်တစ်ပြည်လုံးနှင့်ရှမာရိပြည်မှစ၍ ကမ္ဘာမြေကြီးအစွန်အဖျားတိုင်အောင် ငါ ၏အကြောင်းကိုသက်သေခံသူများဖြစ် ကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။-
9 And having said these things he was taken up, they beholding [him], and a cloud received him out of their sight.
၉ဤသို့မိန့်တော်မူပြီးနောက်တမန်တော်တို့ ကြည့်လျက်နေကြစဉ် ကိုယ်တော်သည်ကောင်းကင် ဘုံသို့ဆောင်ယူခြင်းကိုခံတော်မူ၏။ ထိုနောက် မိုးတိမ်သည်ကိုယ်တော်ကိုဖုံးကွယ်လေ၏။
10 And as they were gazing into heaven, as he was going, behold, also two men stood by them in white clothing,
၁၀ဤသို့ကိုယ်တော်တက်ကြွတော်မူစဉ်တမန်တော် တို့သည် မိုးကောင်းကင်သို့အာရုံစိုက်၍ကြည့်နေ ကြ၏။ ထိုအခါဝတ်ဖြူစင်ကြယ်နှင့်လူနှစ်ယောက် သည်ရုတ်တရက်သူတို့အနီးတွင်ပေါ်လာလေ၏။-
11 who also said, Men of Galilee, why do ye stand looking into heaven? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven, shall thus come in the manner in which ye have beheld him going into heaven.
၁၁ထိုသူတို့က ``ဂါလိလဲပြည်သားတို့၊ သင်တို့ သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ရပ်၍မိုးကောင်းကင်သို့ မျှော်ကြည့်နေကြသနည်း။ သင်တို့ထံမှ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံသို့ယူဆောင်ခြင်းကိုခံတော် မူသောသခင်ယေရှုသည် အဘယ်သို့ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံသို့တက်ကြွတော်မူသည်ကို သင်တို့မြင်ရကြ၏။ ဤနည်းအတိုင်းပင်ထို အရှင်သည်ပြန်လည်ကြွလာတော်မူလတ္တံ့'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။
12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called [the mount] of Olives, which is near Jerusalem, a sabbath-day's journey off.
၁၂ထိုနောက်တမန်တော်တို့သည်သံလွင်နာမည် တွင်သောတောင်မှ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ပြန်ကြ၏။ သံလွင်တောင်သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့နှင့်ခရီး မိုင်ဝက်ခန့်ဝေး၏။-
13 And when they were come into [the city], they went up to the upper chamber, where were staying both Peter, and John, and James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James [son] of Alphaeus, and Simon the zealot, and Jude [the brother] of James.
၁၃သူတို့သည်မြို့ထဲသို့ဝင်၍ မိမိတို့တည်းခိုရာ အိမ်အထက်ခန်းသို့သွားကြ၏။ ထိုသူတို့ကား ပေတရု၊ ယောဟန်၊ ယာကုပ်၊ အန္ဒြေ၊ ဖိလိပ္ပု၊ သောမ၊ ဗာသောလမဲ၊ မဿဲ၊ အာလဖဲ၏သားယာကုပ်၊ မျိုးချစ်စိတ်ထက်သန်သူရှိမုန်နှင့်ယာကုပ်၏ သားယုဒတို့ဖြစ်၏။-
14 These gave themselves all with one accord to continual prayer, with [several] women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
၁၄သူတို့သည်သခင်ယေရှုနှင့်မယ်တော်ဖြစ်သူ မာရိအပါအဝင်အမျိုးသမီးအချို့တို့ နှင့်လည်းကောင်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ညီတော်များနှင့် လည်းကောင်း မကြာခဏတွေ့ဆုံ၍ဆုတောင်း ပတ္ထနာပြုလျက်နေကြ၏။
15 And in those days Peter, standing up in the midst of the brethren, said, (the crowd of names [who were] together [was] about a hundred and twenty, )
၁၅ရက်အနည်းငယ်ကြာသောအခါတစ်ရာ့နှစ်ဆယ် ခန့်သောတပည့်တော်ညီအစ်ကိုတို့သည်စုဝေး လျက်ရှိကြ၏။ ထိုအချိန်၌ပေတရုသည်ထ၍၊-
16 Brethren, it was necessary that the scripture should have been fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before, by the mouth of David, concerning Judas, who became guide to those who took Jesus;
၁၆``ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ သခင်ယေရှုကိုဖမ်းဆီးသူတို့ ၏လမ်းပြဖြစ်သူ ယုဒရှကာရုတ်ကိုရည်မှတ်၍ ကျမ်းစာတော်တွင်ဖော်ပြပါရှိသည်အတိုင်းဖြစ် ပျက်ရမည်သာတည်း။ ဤကျမ်းချက်ကိုသန့်ရှင်း သောဝိညာဉ်တော်သည်ဒါဝိဒ်မင်းနှုတ်အားဖြင့် ဟောကြားခဲ့၏။-
17 for he was numbered amongst us, and had received a part in this service.
၁၇ယုဒသည်အမှုတော်ဆောင်တစ်ဦးအဖြစ် ရွေးချယ်ခြင်းခံရသူဖြစ်၍ ငါတို့လူစုတွင် အပါအဝင်ဖြစ်ခဲ့၏။''
18 (This [man] then indeed got a field with [the] reward of iniquity, and, having fallen down headlong, burst in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
၁၈(သူသည်မိမိဆိုးညစ်ယုတ်မာမှုကြောင့်ရရှိ သည့်ငွေဖြင့်လယ်တစ်ကွက်ကိုဝယ်ပြီးနောက် ထိုလယ်မြေပေါ်တွင်လဲကျသေဆုံးလေသည်။ သူ၏ဝမ်းဗိုက်သည်ပေါက်၍အူများထွက်လာ၏။-
19 And it was known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that that field was called in their own dialect Aceldama; that is, field of blood.)
၁၉ယေရုရှလင်မြို့နေလူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ဤ အဖြစ်အပျက်အကြောင်းကိုကြားသိကြ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ထိုလယ်ကိုမိမိတို့ဘာသာစကား ဖြင့် ``အကေလဒမ'' ဟုခေါ်ဆိုကြ၏။ အကေလ ဒမ၏အနက်ကား``သွေးလယ်'' ဟူ၏။)
20 For it is written in [the] book of Psalms, Let his homestead become desolate, and let there be no dweller in it; and, Let another take his overseership.
၂၀ဆာလံကျမ်းတွင်၊ `သူ၏နေအိမ်သည်လူသူဆိတ်ညံရာဖြစ်ပါစေ၊ ထိုအိမ်တွင်အဘယ်သူမျှမနေပါစေနှင့်။ ထိုသူ၏ရာထူးကိုလည်းအခြားသူတစ်ဦးယူပါစေ' ဟူ၍ရေးသားပါရှိ၏။
21 It is necessary therefore, that of the men who have assembled with us all [the] time in which the Lord Jesus came in and went out among us,
၂၁``ထို့ကြောင့်သခင်ယေရှုအား ဘုရားသခင် ရှင်ပြန်ထမြောက်စေတော်မူကြောင်းကို ငါတို့ နှင့်အတူသက်သေခံရန်လူတစ်ယောက်ကို ရွေးချယ်ရကြမည်။ ထိုသူသည်ယောဟန်၏ ဗတ္တိဇံကိုသခင်ဘုရားခံတော်မူချိန်မှစ ၍ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံသို့ဆောင်ယူခြင်းကိုခံတော် မူချိန်အထိ ငါတို့နှင့်အတူသွားလာနေထိုင် ခဲ့သူတစ်ဦးဖြစ်ရမည်'' ဟုဆို၏။
22 beginning from the baptism of John until the day in which he was taken up from us, one of these should be a witness with us of his resurrection.

23 And they appointed two, Joseph, who was called Barsabas, who had been surnamed Justus, and Matthias.
၂၃သို့ဖြစ်၍တပည့်တော်တို့သည် လူနှစ်ယောက်မှ တစ်ယောက်ကိုရွေးကောက်ရန်အဆိုပြုကြ၏။ ထိုသူနှစ်ယောက်ကားဗာရှဗ (ခေါ်) ယုတ္တုနာမည် သစ်ကိုရသူယောသပ်နှင့်မဿိတို့ဖြစ်၏။-
24 And they prayed, and said, Thou Lord, knower of the hearts of all, shew which one of these two thou hast chosen,
၂၄ထိုနောက်တပည့်တော်တို့သည်``အို သခင်ဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည်လူအပေါင်းတို့၏စိတ်နှလုံး ကိုသိတော်မူပါ၏။ ယုဒသည်မိမိနှင့်ထိုက်ရာ အရပ်သို့လားရအံ့သောငှာ တမန်တော်ရာထူး ကိုစွန့်လွှတ်၍သွားပါပြီ။ ထိုရာထူးတွင်ဤသူ နှစ်ယောက်အနက် အဘယ်သူကိုကိုယ်တော်ရှင် ရွေးကောက်ခန့်ထားတော်မူသည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ အားဖော်ပြတော်မူပါ'' ဟုဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာ ပြုကြ၏။-
25 to receive the lot of this service and apostleship, from which Judas transgressing fell to go to his own place.

26 And they gave lots on them, and the lot fell on Matthias, and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
၂၆ထိုနောက်မဲချကြရာမဿိရရှိသဖြင့် သူ့အားတမန်တော်တစ်ကျိပ်တစ်ပါးတို့ နှင့်အတူ တမန်တော်ဖြစ်စေရန်ရွေးကောက် ခန့်ထားကြ၏။
