2 Kings 15
1 In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah, king of Judah, began to reign.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೇಳನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಅಮಚ್ಯನ ಮಗ ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.
2 He was sixteen years old when he began to reign; and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.
ಅವನು ಅರಸನಾದಾಗ, ಹದಿನಾರು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಐವತ್ತೆರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಯೆಕೊಲ್ಯಳು, ಅವಳು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವಳು.
3 And he did what was right in the sight of Jehovah, according to all that his father Amaziah had done.
ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಮಚ್ಯನಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.
4 Only, the high places were not removed: the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.
ಆದರೂ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲಿಲ್ಲ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಧೂಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿದ್ದರು.
5 And Jehovah smote the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and dwelt in a separate house. And Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಮರಣದ ದಿವಸದವರೆಗೂ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗದಿಂದ ಬಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅವನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾದ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅರಸನ ಮಗ ಯೋತಾಮನು ರಾಜಗೃಹಾಧಿಪತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಜಾಪಾಲನೆಯನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
6 And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸರ ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.
7 And Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David; and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಮೃತನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.
8 In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria, six months.
ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೆಂಟನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದನು. ಅವನು ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು.
9 And he did evil in the sight of Jehovah, according as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
10 And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನು ಜೆಕರ್ಯನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚುಮಾಡಿ, ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು, ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
11 And the rest of the acts of Zechariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
ಜೆಕರ್ಯನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸರ ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.
12 This was the word of Jehovah which he spoke to Jehu saying, Thy sons shall sit upon the throne of Israel unto the fourth [generation]. And so it came to pass.
“ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ತಲೆಮಾರಿನವರೆಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯೇಹುವಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯದಂತೆ ಇವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
13 Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.
ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೊಂಬತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನು ಅರಸನಾಗಿ, ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು.
14 And Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
ಗಾದಿಯ ಮಗ ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ತಿರ್ಚದಿಂದ ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು, ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು, ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
15 And the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಳಸಂಚೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸರ ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.
16 Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and its territory from Tirzah, because they did not open [to him]; and he smote [it]: all the women in it that were with child he ripped up.
ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ತಿರ್ಚದಿಂದ ತಿಪ್ಸಹು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಊರುಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತನಗೆ ತೆರೆಯದೆ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ, ಅದರ ಮೇರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು. ತಿಪ್ಸಹವನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿಸಿದನು.
17 In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi began to reign over Israel, for ten years, in Samaria.
ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೊಂಬತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾದಿಯ ಮಗ ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು.
18 And he did evil in the sight of Jehovah: he departed not, all his days, from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
19 Pul the king of Assyria came against the land; and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to establish the kingdom in his hand.
ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯಾ ದೇಶದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಪೂಲನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು. ಆಗ ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ಅವನ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಲು ಪೂಲನಿಗೆ ಮೂವತ್ತು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಕಿಲೋಗ್ರಾಂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
20 And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, of all those who were wealthy, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. And the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.
ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ಈ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಿಂದ ವಸೂಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತನು ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾದ ಅರ್ಧ ಕಿಲೋಗ್ರಾಂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದ ಅರಸನು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನ ಸೈನ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಹೋದನು.
21 And the rest of the acts of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
ಮೆನಹೇಮನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸರ ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.
22 And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his stead.
ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ಮೃತನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಸೇರಿದನು. ಅವನ ಮಗ ಪೆಕಹ್ಯನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
23 In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, for two years.
ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಐವತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆನಹೇಮನ ಮಗ ಪೆಕಹ್ಯನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ, ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು.
24 And he did evil in the sight of Jehovah: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
ಪೆಕಹ್ಯನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
25 And Pekah the son of Remaliah, his captain, conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria, in the fortress of the king's house, with Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men of the Gileadites; and he slew him, and reigned in his stead.
ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದಂಥ ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗ ಪೆಕಹನು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪೆಕಹ್ಯನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಒಳಸಂಚುಮಾಡಿ, ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಗರ್ಭಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೆಕಹ್ಯನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಗೋಬ್, ಅರ್ಯೇ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು. ಅನಂತರ, ಪೆಕಹ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಪೆಕಹನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.
26 And the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
ಪೆಕಹ್ಯನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸರ ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.
27 In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, for twenty years.
ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಐವತ್ತೆರಡನೆಯ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗ ಪೆಕಹನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು.
28 And he did evil in the sight of Jehovah: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
29 In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria came and took Ijon, and Abel-Beth-Maachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and carried them captive to Assyria.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದ ಅರಸನಾದ ತಿಗ್ಲತ್ಪಿಲೆಸೆರನು ಬಂದು, ಇಯ್ಯೋನ್, ಆಬೇಲ್ ಬೇತ್ ಮಾಕಾ, ಯಾನೋಹ, ಕೆದೆಷ್, ಹಾಚೋರ್, ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್, ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ವಶಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಜನರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯಾ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ದನು.
30 And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him and slew him; and he reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಏಲನ ಮಗ ಹೋಶೇಯನು ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗ ಪೆಕಹನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಒಳಸಂಚುಮಾಡಿ, ಇವನನ್ನು ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮಗ ಯೋತಾಮನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
31 And the rest of the acts of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
ಪೆಕಹನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸರ ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.
32 In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, Jotham the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, began to reign.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನೂ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಪೆಕಹನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮಗ ಯೋತಾಮನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.
33 He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
ಯೋತಾಮನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನಾರು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಚಾದೋಕನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಯೆರೂಷ ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ.
34 And he did what was right in the sight of Jehovah: he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.
ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.
35 Only, the high places were not removed: the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places. It was he who built the upper gate of the house of Jehovah.
ಆದರೂ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲಿಲ್ಲ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಧೂಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿದ್ದರು. ಯೋತಾಮನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.
36 And the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

37 In those days Jehovah began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.
ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅರಾಮಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಚೀನನನ್ನೂ ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗ ಪೆಕಹನನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.
38 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
ಯೋತಾಮನು ಮೃತನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದನು. ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸ್ಮಶಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನ ಮಗ ಆಹಾಜನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
