2 Corinthians 2
1 But I have judged this with myself, not to come back to you in grief.
१कारण मी स्वतःशी ठरवले होते की, मी पुन्हा दुःख देण्यास तुमच्याकडे येऊ नये.
2 For if I grieve you, who also [is] it that gladdens me, if not he that is grieved through me?
२कारण जर मी तुम्हास दुःख देतो, तर ज्याला माझ्यामुळे दुःख होते त्याच्यावाचून मला आनंदित करणारा कोण आहे?
3 And I have written this very [letter] [to you], that coming I may not have grief from those from whom I ought to have joy; trusting in you all that my joy is [that] of you all.
३आणि मी हेच लिहिले होते, म्हणजे मी आल्यावर ज्यांच्याविषयी मी आनंद करावा त्यांच्याकडून मला दुःख होऊ नये, मला तुम्हा सर्वांविषयी विश्वास आहे की, माझा आनंद तो तुम्हा सर्वांचादेखील आहे.
4 For out of much tribulation and distress of heart I wrote to you, with many tears; not that ye may be grieved, but that ye may know the love which I have very abundantly towards you.
४कारण, मी दुःखाने, मनाच्या तळमळीने व अश्रू गाळीत तुम्हास लिहिले ते तुम्ही दुःखी व्हावे म्हणून नाही पण तुमच्यावर जी माझी प्रीती आहे तिची खोली तुम्हास समजावी.
5 But if any one has grieved, he has grieved, not me, but in part (that I may not overcharge [you]) all of you.
५जर कोणी दुःख दिले असेल, तर त्याने केवळ मलाच दुःख दिले, असे नाही, तर काही प्रमाणात तुम्हा सर्वांना दिले आहे. त्यासंबंधी मी फार कठीण होऊ इच्छीत नाही.
6 Sufficient to such a one [is] this rebuke which [has been inflicted] by the many;
६अशा मनुष्यास ही बहुमताने दिली ती शिक्षा पुरे.
7 so that on the contrary ye should rather shew grace and encourage, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with excessive grief.
७म्हणून, उलट त्यास क्षमा करून तुम्ही त्याचे सांत्वन करावे; यासाठी की अति दुःखाने तो दबून जाऊ नये.
8 Wherefore I exhort you to assure him of [your] love.
८म्हणून मी तुम्हास विनंती करतो की, त्याच्यावर तुमची प्रीती आहे अशी त्याची खातरी करून द्या.
9 For to this end also I have written, that I might know, by putting you to the test, if as to everything ye are obedient.
९कारण मी तुम्हास या हेतूने लिहिले आहे की, तुम्ही परीक्षेत टिकता की नाही व प्रत्येक बाबतीत तुम्ही आज्ञाधारक राहता की नाही हे पाहावे.
10 But to whom ye forgive anything, I also; for I also, what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, [it is] for your sakes in [the] person of Christ;
१०ज्या कोणाला तुम्ही कशाची क्षमा करता त्यास मीही क्षमा करतो, कारण मी क्षमा केली असेल तर ज्या कशाची कोणाला मी क्षमा केली आहे, त्यास तुमच्याकरीता, मी ख्रिस्ताच्या समक्ष केली आहे.
11 that we might not have Satan get an advantage against us, for we are not ignorant of his thoughts.
११यासाठी सैतानाने आपल्याला ठकवू नये; कारण आपण त्याच्या दुष्ट योजना जाणत नाही असे नाही.
12 Now when I came to Troas for the [publication of the] glad tidings of the Christ, a door also being opened to me in [the] Lord,
१२आणि पुढे जेव्हा मी ख्रिस्ताच्या सुवार्तेसाठी त्रोवस शहरास आल्यावर आणि प्रभूकडून माझ्यासाठी एक द्वार उघडले गेले,
13 I had no rest in my spirit at not finding Titus my brother; but bidding them adieu, I came away to Macedonia.
१३माझा बंधू तीत हा मला सापडला नाही म्हणून माझ्या जीवाला चैन पडेना. मग तेथल्या लोकांचा निरोप घेऊन मी मासेदोनियास निघून गेलो.
14 But thanks [be] to God, who always leads us in triumph in the Christ, and makes manifest the odour of his knowledge through us in every place.
१४पण देवाचे आभार मानतो जो ख्रिस्तामध्ये नेहमी आम्हास विजयाने नेतो आणि त्याच्याविषयीच्या ज्ञानाचा सुगंध प्रत्येक ठिकाणी आमच्याद्वारे सगळीकडे पसरवितो.
15 For we are a sweet odour of Christ to God, in the saved and in those that perish:
१५कारण ज्यांचे तारण होत आहे अशा लोकात आणि ज्यांचा नाश होत आहे अशा लोकात आम्ही देवाला ख्रिस्ताचा सुवास आहोत.
16 to the one an odour from death unto death, but to the others an odour from life unto life; and who [is] sufficient for these things?
१६ज्या लोकांचा नाश होत आहे, मृत्युचा मरणसूचक वास आणि जे तारले गेले आहेत, जीवनाकडे नेणारा जीवनाचा वास आहोत आणि या गोष्टींसाठी कोण लायक आहे?
17 For we do not, as the many, make a trade of the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as of God, before God, we speak in Christ.
१७कारण दुसर्‍या कित्येकांसारखे देवाच्या वचनाची भेसळ करणारे आम्ही नाही पण आम्ही शुद्ध भावाने, देवाचे म्हणून देवाच्या दृष्टीपुढे ख्रिस्तात बोलतो.
