< 2 Corinthians 11 >
1 Would that ye would bear with me [in] a little folly; but indeed bear with me.
Ageno ni ubiro bedo mangʼwon koda nikech adwaro wuoyo mofuwo matin, ma bende usebedo ka utimo.
2 For I am jealous as to you with a jealousy [which is] of God; for I have espoused you unto one man, to present [you] a chaste virgin to Christ.
Nyiego omaka kodu ma en nyiek Nyasaye. Ne asingou ni dichwo achiel kende, ma en Kristo, mondo omi achiwu kaka nyako mangili ni en.
3 But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craft, [so] your thoughts should be corrupted from simplicity as to the Christ.
To aluor ni kaka thuol nowuondo Hawa gi miriambone mariek, e kaka un bende inyalo wuondu mi uwe hero Kristo gi chunyu duto.
4 For if indeed he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or ye get a different Spirit, which ye have not got, or a different glad tidings, which ye have not received, ye might well bear with [it].
Nikech ka ngʼato obiro e dieru ma oyalonu Yesu mopogore gi mano mane wayalonu, kendo kata uyudo Roho machielo gi mano mane uyudo, kendo uyie gi Injili moro amora mopogore gi mane uyudo, kendo uchikone itu gimor,
5 For I reckon that in nothing I am behind those who are in surpassing degree apostles.
to ok apar ni an chien ahinya moloyo “joote” moko ma uparo ni dongogo!
6 But if [I am] a simple person in speech, yet not in knowledge, but in everything making [the truth] manifest in all things to you.
Nyalo bedo ni ok alony kuom wuoyo, to kata kamano rieko to an-go. Wasebedo ka waleronu wechegi kinde ka kinde.
7 Have I committed sin, abasing myself in order that ye might be exalted, because I gratuitously announced to you the glad tidings of God?
Dipo nine ukwana jaketho nikech ne adwokora piny, mondo eka atingʼu malo, kane ayalonu Injili mar Nyasaye ma ok adwaro chudo koa kuomu?
8 I spoiled other assemblies, receiving hire for ministry towards you.
Ne akawo chudo e kanisa mondo atinugo mana ka gima amayogi.
9 And being present with you and lacking, I did not lazily burden any one, (for the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied what I lacked, ) and in everything I kept myself from being a burden to you, and will keep myself.
Kendo kane atiyo e dieru, to ne ok amiyo ngʼato angʼata tingʼ mapek e kinde mane an gi dwaro moro amora, nikech owete moa Makedonia nokelona gik moko duto mag konyruok mane achando. Asetemo matek mondo kik amiu tingʼ mapek e yo moro amora, kendo pod abiro medo timo kamano.
10 [The] truth of Christ is in me that this boasting shall not be stopped as to me in the regions of Achaia.
Chutho, kaka an gi adiera mar Kristo, onge ngʼama biro mona pakora e gwenge mag Akaya.
11 Why? because I do not love you? God knows.
Nangʼo? Nikech ok aherou koso? Ooyo, kata Nyasaye bende ongʼeyo ni aherou.
12 But what I do, I will also do, that I may cut off the opportunity of those wishing [for] an opportunity, that wherein they boast they may be found even as we.
To abiro dhi nyime katimo gima atimoni mondo agengʼ joote mamoko mag miriambo madwaro duongʼ mondo nenre ni gitiyo tich machalre gi marwa.
13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
Jogo ok gin joote madier. Gin joote mag miriambo, kendo giriambo kuom tich ma gitimo, ka giketore mondo gichal gi joote madier mag Kristo.
14 And [it is] not wonderful, for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
To mano gima ok nyal bwogowa nikech kata Satan bende wuondore ni en malaika mar ler.
15 It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Kuom mano wachni ok wendo kuomwa, ka jotich Satan bende oriedo mondo okwan kaka jotich mag tim makare. To e giko gibiro yudo kum mowinjore gi timbegi.
16 Again I say, Let not any one think me to be a fool; but if otherwise, receive me then even as a fool, that I also may boast myself some little.
Amedo wachonu ni kik ngʼato kawa ni afuwo. To ka uhero, to kawauru kaka ngʼama ofuwo, mondo an bende apakrae matin.
17 What I speak I do not speak according to [the] Lord, but as in folly, in this confidence of boasting.
Gima koro adwaro wachoni ok Ruoth ema oyiena mondo awachi, to awache e yor fuwo.
18 Since many boast according to flesh, I also will boast.
Nikech ji mathoth pakore kaka jopiny pakore, an bende weuru apakra matin.
19 For ye bear fools readily, being wise.
Un uwegi ukwanoru kaka joma riek, to pod urwako mana joma ofuwo gi riekougo!
20 For ye bear if any one bring you into bondage, if any one devour [you], if any one get [your money], if any one exalt himself, if any one beat you on the face.
Chutho urwako koda ka joma lokou wasumbini mag-gi, kata makawo giu e yor mecho, kata ma gajou, kata ma tiyou githuon, kata ma diyou piny kendo thalo lembu!
21 I speak as to dishonour, as though we had been weak; but wherein any one is daring, (I speak in folly, ) I also am daring.
Ayie kawo wichkuot muketo kuomano; nikech wan ne ok wanyal timo gik ma jogo timo, nikech wanyap! To ka ngʼato nyalo hedhore mar pakore kuom gimoro amora; awuoyo kaka ngʼama ofuwo, to an bende anyalo pakora mana kaka gin.
22 Are they Hebrews? I also. Are they Israelites? I also. Are they seed of Abraham? I also.
Gipakore ni gin jo-Hibrania? An bende an ja-Hibrania. Gipakore ni gin jo-Israel? An bende an ja-Israel. Gipakore ni gin nyikwa Ibrahim? An bende an nyakwar Ibrahim.
23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as being beside myself) I above measure [so]; in labours exceedingly abundant, in stripes to excess, in prisons exceedingly abundant, in deaths oft.
Gipakore gi gin jotich Kristo? Ka awuoyo kamano, to achalo mana janeko. An awuon an jatich maber! Asetiyo matek; osetweya e od twech kuom kinde mangʼeny; osechwada; kendo asebedo machiegni gi tho moloyo ngʼato angʼata kuomgi.
24 From the Jews five times have I received forty [stripes], save one.
Jo-Yahudi ne ochwada kiboko piero adek gochiko nyadibich.
25 Thrice have I been scourged, once I have been stoned, three times I have suffered shipwreck, a night and day I passed in the deep:
Bende jo-Rumi nogoya gi ludhe nyadidek, kendo ne gichiela gi kite dichiel. Yie ne obarore koda e nam nyadidek, kendo chiengʼ moro ne ariyo e dier nam otieno godiechiengʼ.
26 in journeyings often, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from [my own] race, in perils from [the] nations, in perils in [the] city, in perils in [the] desert, in perils on [the] sea, in perils among false brethren;
E wuodhena mathoth, aseneno masiche e aore mopongʼ, asethagora e lwet jomecho, e dier jo-Yahudi wetena kod joma ok jo-Yahudi. Masiche ne olwora e mier madongo, e thimbe, e aore, kendo e dier Jowete mawuondore.
27 in labour and toil, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
Asetiyo matek gi lwetena, kendo asechandora malit, ka ok anindi kuom ndalo mangʼeny. Kech osechama, kendo riyo oseloya; kinde mathoth asebedo ka aonge gi chiemo moromo, bende asewuotho duk.
28 Besides those things that are without, the crowd [of cares] pressing on me daily, the burden of all the assemblies.
To ewi mago duto, tingʼ mapek ma an-go en paro kanisni duto.
29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is stumbled, and I burn not?
Ka ngʼato nyap, to donge an bende adoko manyap kode? Koso ka ngʼato odonjo e richo, to donge litna?
30 If it is needful to boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity.
Ka ochuna ni nyaka apakra, to abiro pakora, kuom gik manyiso nyawona.
31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus knows — he who is blessed for ever — that I do not lie. (aiōn )
Nyasaye ma Wuon Ruodhwa Yesu ma ipako nyaka chiengʼ, ongʼeyo ni ok ariambi. (aiōn )
32 In Damascus the ethnarch of Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes shut up, wishing to take me;
Kane an Damaski, jatelo manie bwo ruoth Aretas noketo jorit e ranga dala mar jo-Damaski mondo omaka.
33 and through a window in a basket I was let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
To ne atony, kane oketa ei osera, mi olora piny kakadho e otuchi manie kor ohinga.
