2 Chronicles 3
1 And Solomon began to build the house of Jehovah at Jerusalem on mount Moriah, where he appeared to David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
Salomón comenzó a edificar la Casa de Yahvé en Jerusalén, en el monte Moriah, donde Yahvé se había aparecido a David su padre, la cual preparó en el lugar que David había designado, en la era de Ornán el jebuseo.
2 And he began to build on the second of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
Comenzó a construir en el segundo día del segundo mes, en el cuarto año de su reinado.
3 And this was Solomon's foundation for the construction of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
Estos son los cimientos que Salomón puso para el edificio de la casa de Dios: la longitud por codos después de la primera medida era de sesenta codos, y la anchura de veinte codos.
4 And the porch which was in front was twenty cubits in length, in front of the house broadways, and the height was a hundred and twenty; and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
El pórtico que estaba delante, su longitud, a lo ancho de la casa, era de veinte codos, y la altura de ciento veinte; y lo recubrió por dentro con oro puro.
5 And the greater house he boarded with cypress-wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set on it palm-trees and chains.
Hizo la sala mayor con un techo de madera de ciprés, que recubrió de oro fino, y la adornó con palmeras y cadenas.
6 And he overlaid the house with precious stones for beauty; and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
Decoró la casa con piedras preciosas para embellecerla. El oro era de Parvaim.
7 And he covered the house, the beams, the threshold, and its walls, and its doors with gold, and engraved cherubim on the walls.
También recubrió de oro la casa, las vigas, los umbrales, las paredes y las puertas, y grabó querubines en las paredes.
8 And he made the house of the most holy place, the length of which was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits; and he covered it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
Hizo el lugar santísimo. Su longitud, según la anchura de la casa, era de veinte codos, y su anchura de veinte codos; y lo recubrió de oro fino, que ascendía a seiscientos talentos.
9 And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he covered the upper chambers with gold.
El peso de los clavos era de cincuenta siclos de oro. Recubrió de oro las habitaciones superiores.
10 And in the house of the most holy place he made two cherubim of image work, and they overlaid them with gold.
En el lugar santísimo hizo dos querubines tallados, y los recubrió de oro.
11 And the wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long: one wing of five cubits touched the wall of the house; and the other wing of five cubits touched the wing of the other cherub.
Las alas de los querubines medían veinte codos; el ala de uno de ellos medía cinco codos y llegaba hasta la pared de la Casa; la otra ala medía cinco codos y llegaba hasta el ala del otro querubín.
12 And the wing of the other cherub of five cubits touched the wall of the house; and the other wing was five cubits joining the wing of the other cherub.
El ala del otro querubín medía cinco codos y llegaba hasta la pared de la casa; la otra ala medía cinco codos y se unía al ala del otro querubín.
13 The wings of these cherubim spread forth were twenty cubits; and they stood on their feet, and their faces were toward the house.
Las alas de estos querubines se extendían veinte codos. Estaban de pie, y sus rostros se dirigían hacia la casa.
14 And he made the veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and byssus, and made cherubim upon it.
Hizo el velo de azul, púrpura, carmesí y lino fino, y lo adornó con querubines.
15 And before the house he made two pillars thirty-five cubits long; and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
También hizo delante de la casa dos columnas de treinta y cinco codos de altura, y el capitel que estaba en la parte superior de cada una de ellas era de cinco codos.
16 And he made chains [as] in the oracle, and he put them on the top of the pillars; and he made a hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
Hizo cadenas en el santuario interior y las puso en la parte superior de las columnas; hizo cien granadas y las puso en las cadenas.
17 And he set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right hand and the other on the left; and he called the name of that on the right Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
Colocó las columnas delante del templo, una a la derecha y otra a la izquierda, y llamó al de la derecha Jaquín, y al de la izquierda Boaz.
