2 Chronicles 10
1 And Rehoboam went to Shechem; for all Israel had come to Shechem to make him king.

2 And it came to pass when Jeroboam the son of Nebat heard it (now he was in Egypt, whither he had fled from the presence of king Solomon) that Jeroboam returned out of Egypt.
Кынд а аузит лукрул ачеста, Иеробоам, фиул луй Небат, ера ын Еӂипт, унде фуӂисе де ымпэратул Соломон, ши с-а ынторс дин Еӂипт.
3 And they sent and called him; and Jeroboam and all Israel came and spoke to Rehoboam saying,
Ау тримис сэ-л кеме. Атунч, Иеробоам ши тот Исраелул ау венит ла Робоам ши й-ау ворбит аша:
4 Thy father made our yoke grievous; and now lighten the grievous servitude of thy father, and his heavy yoke that he put upon us, and we will serve thee.
„Татэл тэу не-а ынгреуят жугул, акум ушурязэ ачастэ аспрэ робие ши жугул греу пе каре л-а пус песте ной татэл тэу. Ши ыць вом служи.”
5 And he said to them, Come again to me after three days. And the people departed.
Ел ле-а зис: „Ынтоарчеци-вэ ла мине дупэ трей зиле.” Ши попорул а плекат.
6 And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, who had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, saying, How do ye advise to return answer to this people?
Ымпэратул Робоам а ынтребат пе бэтрыний каре фусесерэ ку татэл сэу, Соломон, ын тимпул веций луй ши а зис: „Че мэ сфэтуиць сэ рэспунд попорулуй ачестуя?”
7 And they spoke to him saying, If thou be kind to this people, and please them, and speak good words to them, they will be thy servants for ever.
Ши ятэ че й-ау зис ей: „Дакэ вей фи бун ку попорул ачеста, дакэ-й вей прими бине ши дакэ ле вей ворби ку бунэвоинцэ, ыць вор служи пе вечие.”
8 But he forsook the advice of the old men which they had given him, and consulted with the young men, who had grown up with him, that stood before him.
Дар Робоам а лэсат сфатул пе каре и-л дэдяу бэтрыний ши а ынтребат пе тинерий каре крескусерэ ку ел ши каре-л ынконжурау.
9 And he said to them, What advice give ye that we may return answer to this people, who have spoken to me saying, Lighten the yoke which thy father put upon us?
Ел ле-а зис: „Че мэ сфэтуиць сэ рэспунд попорулуй ачестуя каре-мь ворбеште астфел: ‘Ушурязэ жугул пе каре л-а пус татэл тэу песте ной’?”
10 And the young men that had grown up with him spoke to him saying, Thus shalt thou say to the people who have spoken to thee saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, and lighten thou it for us, — thus shalt thou say to them: My little [finger] is thicker than my father's loins;
Ши ятэ че й-ау зис тинерий каре крескусерэ ку ел: „Аша сэ ворбешть попорулуй ачестуя каре ць-а ворбит аша: ‘Татэл тэу не-а ынгреуят жугул, яр ту ушурязэ-ни-л!’ сэ ле ворбешть аша: ‘Деӂетул меу чел мик есте май грос декыт коапселе татэлуй меу.
11 and whereas my father laid a heavy yoke upon you, I will add to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I [will chastise you] with scorpions.
Акум, татэл меу а пус песте вой ун жуг греу, дар еу ыл вой фаче ши май греу; татэл меу в-а педепсит ку биче, дар еу вэ вой педепси ку скорпиоане.’”
12 And Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day, as the king had appointed saying, Come again to me on the third day.
Иеробоам ши тот попорул ау венит ла Робоам а трея зи, дупэ кум ле спусесе ымпэратул: „Ынтоарчеци-вэ ла мине песте трей зиле.”
13 And the king answered them roughly; and king Rehoboam forsook the advice of the old men,
Ымпэратул ле-а рэспунс аспру. Ымпэратул Робоам а лэсат сфатул бэтрынилор
14 and spoke to them according to the advice of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add to it; my father chastised you with whips, but I [will chastise you] with scorpions.
ши ле-а ворбит аша, дупэ сфатул тинерилор: „Татэл меу в-а ынгреуят жугул, дар еу ыл вой ынгреуя ши май мулт; татэл меу в-а педепсит ку биче, дар еу вэ вой педепси ку скорпиоане.”
15 So the king hearkened not to the people; for it was brought about by God, that Jehovah might give effect to his word, which he spoke through Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
Астфел, ымпэратул н-а аскултат пе попор, кэч аша рындуисе Думнезеу ын ведеря ымплинирий кувынтулуй пе каре-л спусесе Домнул прин Ахия дин Сило луй Иеробоам, фиул луй Небат.
16 And all Israel saw that the king hearkened not to them; and the people answered the king saying, What portion have we in David? and [we have] no inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel. Now see to thine own house, David! And all Israel went to their tents.
Кынд а вэзут тот Исраелул кэ ымпэратул ну-л аскултэ, попорул а рэспунс ымпэратулуй: „Че парте авем ной ку Давид? Ной н-авем ничо моштенире ку фиул луй Исай! Ла кортуриле тале, Исраеле! Акум, везь-ць де касэ, Давиде!” Ши тот Исраелул с-а дус ын кортуриле луй.
17 But as for the children of Israel that dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.
Копиий луй Исраел каре локуяу ын четэциле луй Иуда ау фост сингурий песте каре а домнит Робоам.
18 And king Rehoboam sent Hadoram, who was over the levy; but the children of Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. And king Rehoboam hastened to mount his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
Атунч, ымпэратул Робоам а тримис пе Хадорам, каре ера май-маре песте дэрь. Хадорам а фост ымпрошкат ку петре де копиий луй Исраел ши а мурит. Ши ымпэратул Робоам с-а грэбит ши с-а суит ынтр-ун кар, ка сэ фугэ ла Иерусалим.
19 And Israel rebelled against the house of David, unto this day.
Астфел с-а дезлипит Исраел де каса луй Давид пынэ ын зиуа де азь.
