1 Timothy 5
1 Rebuke not an elder sharply, but exhort [him] as a father, younger [men] as brethren,

2 elder women as mothers, younger women as sisters, with all purity.

3 Honour widows who are really widows;
Dayawem dagiti balo, dagiti pudno a balo.
4 but if any widow have children or descendants, let them learn first to be pious as regards their own house, and to render a return on their side to [their] parents; for this is acceptable in the sight of God.
Ngem no ti balo ket addaan iti annak wenno appoko, bay- am nga isuda ti umuna a makasursuro a mangipakita iti panagdayaw iti uneg ti bukodda a bumalay. Bay-am ida a subadanda dagiti nagannakda, gapu ta daytoy ket makaay- ayo iti Dios.
5 Now she who [is] a widow indeed, and is left alone, has put [her] hope in God, and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.
Ngem ti pudno a balo ket napanawan nga agmaymaysa. Italtalekna ti talgedna iti Dios. Agtalinaed isuna a kanayon nga addaan kadagiti kiddaw ken karkararag iti rabii ken aldaw.
6 But she that lives in habits of self-indulgence is dead [while] living.
Nupay kasta, ti babai nga agbiag para iti bukodna a pagayatan ket natay, uray no sibibiag pay laeng isuna.
7 And these things enjoin, that they may be irreproachable.
Ken ikasabam dagitoy a banbanag tapno awanto ti pakababalawanda.
8 But if any one does not provide for his own, and specially for those of [his] house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than the unbeliever.
Ngem no adda ti saan a mangipaay iti maipaay iti bukodna a kakabagian, nangnangruna kadagidiay adda iti bukodna a bumalay, inlibakna ti pammati ket nadakdakes pay ngem iti saan a namati.
9 Let a widow be put upon the list, being of not less than sixty years, [having been] wife of one man,
Mailista koma ti babai a balo a saan, daydiay saan nga ub-ubing iti tawen nga innem a pulo, asawa iti maymaysa nga asawa a lalaki.
10 borne witness to in good works, if she have brought up children, if she have exercised hospitality, if she have washed saints' feet, if she have imparted relief to the distressed, if she have diligently followed every good work.
Masapul a maam-ammoan isuna gapu kadagiti nasayaat nga ar-aramid, mabalin a daytoy ket nangaywan kadagiti ubbing, wenno managsangaili kadagiti gangannaet, wenno binuguanna ti saka dagiti namati, wenno tinulonganna dagiti nagsagaba, wenno napasnek iti tunggal nasayaat nga aramid.
11 But younger widows decline; for when they grow wanton against Christ, they desire to marry,
Ngem kadagiti ub-ubing a balo, pagkedkedam nga ibilang ida iti listaan. Ta no abaken ida ti tarigagay ti bagida a maisuppiat kenni Cristo, kayatda ti agasawa.
12 being guilty, because they have cast off their first faith.
Iti daytoy a wagas, maaddaanda iti basol gapu ta imbabawida ti immuna a karida.
13 And, at the same time, they learn also [to be] idle, going about to people's houses; and not only idle, but also gossipers and meddlers, speaking things not becoming.
Agbalinda pay a maruam iti kinasadut. Mamalaybalayda. Saanda laeng nga agbalin a nasadut, ngem agbalinda pay a tarabitab ken mannakibiang. Agsaoda kadagiti banbanag a saanda a rumbeng nga ibaga.
14 I will therefore that the younger marry, bear children, rule the house, give no occasion to the adversary in respect of reproach.
Ngarud, kayatko nga agasawa dagiti ub-ubing a babbai, aganakda, asikasoenda ti balay, tapno awan ti gundaway ti kabusor a mangpabasol kadatayo nga agar-aramid iti kinadakes.
15 For already some have turned aside after Satan.
Ta adda dagiti simmiasi a simmurot kenni Satanas.
16 If any believing man or woman have widows, let them impart relief to them, and let not the assembly be charged, that it may impart relief to those [that are] widows indeed.
No adda namati a babai nga addaan kadagiti balo, tulunganna koma ida, tapno iti kasta ket saandan a padagsen iti uneg ti iglesia, tapno mabalin a makatulong daytoy kadagiti pudno a balo.
17 Let the elders who take the lead [among the saints] well be esteemed worthy of double honour, specially those labouring in word and teaching;
Maibilang koma dagiti panglakayen a nasayaat ti panagturayna a maikari nga umawat iti mamindua a dayaw, nangnangruna kadagidiay agtrabtrabaho maipanggep iti sao ken iti panangisuro iti daytoy.
18 for the scripture says, Thou shalt not muzzle an ox that treadeth out corn, and, The workman [is] worthy of his hire.
Ta kuna ti Nasantoan a Surat, “Saanmo a busalan ti baka kabayatan nga agir-irik” ken “Ti trabahador ket maikari iti tangdanna.”
19 Against an elder receive not an accusation unless where there are two or three witnesses.
Saanka nga umawat iti pammabasol a maisuppiat iti maysa a panglakayen malaksid no adda ti dua wenno tallo a saksi.
20 Those that sin convict before all, that the rest also may have fear.
Ilintegmo dagiti managbasol iti imatang ti amin tapno agbuteng dagiti dadduma.
21 I testify before God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, that thou keep these things without prejudice, doing nothing by favour.
Sipapasnekak a mangbilin kenka, iti imatang ti Dios, ni Cristo Jesus, ken dagiti napili nga anghel, a salimetmetam dagitoy nga annuroten nga awan panangidumduma, ken awan ti aramidem a panangipangpangruna.
22 Lay hands quickly on no man, nor partake in others' sins. Keep thyself pure.
Saanka nga agganat a mangikabil kadagiti imam iti uray maysa. Saanka a makibiang kadagiti basol ti sabali a tao. Masapul a pagtalinaedem a nasin-aw ti bagim.
23 Drink no longer only water, but use a little wine on account of thy stomach and thy frequent illnesses.
Masapul a saankan nga uminom iti danom. Ngem ketdi uminomka iti bassit nga arak para iti rusokmo ken kadagiti kanayon a sakitmo.
24 Of some men the sins are manifest beforehand, going before to judgment, and some also they follow after.
Dagiti basol ti sumagmamano a tattao ket nalawag a makita, ket umun-una pay dagitoy ngem isuda a mapan iti pannakaukom. Ngem adda dagiti basol a maud-udi.
25 In like manner good works also are manifest beforehand, and those that are otherwise cannot be hid.
Kasta met, nga adda dagiti nasayaat nga aramid a maipakaammo, ngem uray dagiti dadduma ket saanto a mailemmeng.
