< 1 Timothy 4 >

1 But the Spirit speaks expressly, that in latter times some shall apostatise from the faith, giving their mind to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons
Ruhu hla ni ra du ivi u' kle kle ndi bari ba yab shishi ni bangaskiya da ya suron mba ni ruhahi bi qru ni tsro u ibrji.
2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, cauterised as to their own conscience,
Ni mi ce ni meme mre ani kle.
3 forbidding to marry, [bidding] to abstain from meats, which God has created for receiving with thanksgiving for them who are faithful and know the truth.
Ba zu ndi duba na gra na da na kpa biri wa Rji ti ni grie na ni bi wa ba kpa yeim da toh jaji.
4 For every creature of God [is] good, and nothing [is] to be rejected, being received with thanksgiving;
Naki ikpie wa trji ti a didi ma. Tkpie wa ki kpa wawu'u ni grie, duba na kamba ni'u'na.
5 for it is sanctified by God's word and freely addressing [him].
Nakima ba gla u' nitre Rji nibre.
6 Laying these things before the brethren, thou wilt be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished with the words of the faith and of the good teaching which thou hast fully followed up.
Inde u' no mir vayi mere rkpie bi yi u' zama gran didima'u Almasihu don basi me u ni tu tre bangaskiya ni tsro wa u' hu'a.
7 But profane and old wives' fables avoid, but exercise thyself unto piety;
Na yo ton di wo cholonchon u gbugbulu wa cice mba ba so na, nakima wu ka hari tume di hu Rji.
8 for bodily exercise is profitable for a little, but piety is profitable for everything, having promise of life, of the present one, and of that to come.
Nakima horo u kpa ahei ni amfani fi me yi, aman horo ni mi hu Rji a hei ni amfani ni kpie wawo'u ni mi ma ahei ni yo yeiu ni rayuwa ni rayuwa u ye.
9 The word [is] faithful and worthy of all acceptation;
Nakima itre yi a jaji wa ba kpa wawu'u.
10 for, for this we labour and suffer reproach, because we hope in a living God, who is preserver of all men, specially of those that believe.
A kimasa du ta ni tidu susai, don ki yo suron ni Rji wandi ani vri ni kpa ndi chuwo wawu'u musama biwo ba kpa yeim ni wu.
11 Enjoin and teach these things.
Nakima wuka hla di bla kpie bi yi ni bawu.
12 Let no one despise thy youth, but be a model of the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
Na kpa yeim du dio kpa inze me tsir na naki ma wuka zama wa ba yi koyi ni bi hu ni tre, na hali ni son nididi, nikuma yeryer.
13 Till I come, give thyself to reading, to exhortation, to teaching.
Sei miye, yo tu di bla, di wa tre a di tsro.
14 Be not negligent of the gift [that is] in thee, which has been given to thee through prophecy, with imposition of the hands of the elderhood.
Na kpa baiwa wa ahei ni wu tsir na, wa ba no ni annabci wa bi cice ndi ba vu wo sa ni wu.
15 Occupy thyself with these things; be wholly in them, that thy progress may be manifest to all.
Mla kpie bi yi jin di du guci me du zama wa ndi ba wawu'u baka toh ni shishi mba.
16 Give heed to thyself and to the teaching; continue in them; for, doing this, thou shalt save both thyself and those that hear thee.
Mla tume ti ni koyarwa me di guci ni mi kpi bi yi, nakima wu'u kpa tume cuwo ni bi wa ba zi wo'u
