< 1 Timothy 2 >
1 I exhort therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings be made for all men;
Barki ani me imum in tuba iyenne, in zin ni kuri wuzan nikuri nan biringara, nan nu wuza ubi ringara barki anabu vat, wanu nya godiya awuzi anime barki vat anabu.
2 for kings and all that are in dignity, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all piety and gravity;
Barki agomo wanu vat hana ana tigomo, barki wuzi ticukum turonta nan ticukum tu nee mang anyimo ati cukum ta Asere nan ugongo.
3 for this is good and acceptable before our Saviour God,
Agino me irezi nan nu kaba ahira Asere unu bura uru.
4 who desires that all men should be saved and come to [the] knowledge of [the] truth.
Ma ma nyara vat anabu wakem ubura, wa haa urusa ukadura.
5 For God is one, and [the] mediator of God and men one, [the] man Christ Jesus,
Barki Asere a inde ani, desa maraa atime unu inde mani, atii Asere nan unubu, unu uginome Ugomo Asere Yeso mani.
6 who gave himself a ransom for all, the testimony [to be rendered] in its own times;
Ma nya nicce nimeme barki ma buri kondevi, barki ubuka utize uganiya me rep.
7 to which I have been appointed a herald and apostle, (I speak [the] truth, I do not lie, ) a teacher of [the] nations in faith and truth.
Barki agino imum me, awu mi nicce nimum in cukuno una kadura, kadura kani imbo, azo moco mani ba, mi unu beze utize ahira ande sa watame tize ta Asere anyimo kadura nan unu goggoni.
8 I will therefore that the men pray in every place, lifting up pious hands, without wrath or reasoning.
Barki anime, in nyara ahana aruma sa waraa konde aba wawuzi biringara, wakuri wa yeze tari ti lau azesere daki nigo nan ni iriba iburu nan ma tara ba.
9 In like manner also that the women in decent deportment and dress adorn themselves with modesty and discretion, not with plaited [hair] and gold, or pearls, or costly clothing,
Ane ani, in nyara ane wa soki tirunga be sa ta wuna, nan nu uzo nu uzo be sa wa wuna uree inu meki, kati wa cukuno anu pizo acce nan na azumo awal-wal nan na bal-bal nan tironga ti kirfi.
10 but, what becomes women making profession of the fear of God, by good works.
In nyara wa soki tironga be ta wuna ane be sa wa raa anyima anipum na sere ahira uwusa ti hara tire-re.
11 Let a woman learn in quietness in all subjection;
Uneti ma manza anyimo utuzo unicce anyimo imum vat.
12 but I do not suffer a woman to teach nor to exercise authority over man, but to be in quietness;
Daki ma nya uguna vana e ma bezi nyani ma bezi ubari azesere avana urumaba, abanna ma cukuno unu utuzo unicce.
13 for Adam was formed first, then Eve:
Adamu mani tubi ubara ume, adi ku barka Hauwa'u.
14 and Adam was not deceived; but the woman, having been deceived, was in transgression.
Daki Adamu mani arangi me ba, abanna vanu e mani aragi me anyimo ucara abanga.
15 But she shall be preserved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and love and holiness with discretion.
Vat anime, madi kem ubura ahira uyoozo ahana inki ware aje anyimo uhem ukadura, nan nu hem nan nu lau nan inko iriba.
