1 Kings 1
1 And king David was old [and] advanced in age; and they covered him with clothes, but he obtained no warmth.
၁ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းကြီး သည် အသက် ကြီးရင့်၍ အို သောအခါ အဝတ် ခြုံ ၍ မ နွေး နိုင်။
2 And his servants said to him, Let there be found for my lord the king a young virgin; and let her stand before the king, and let her cherish him, and let her lie in thy bosom, that my lord the king may get warm.
၂သို့ဖြစ်၍ ကျွန် တို့က၊ အသက် ပျိုသော ကညာ ကို အရှင် မင်းကြီး အဘို့ ရှာ ပါရစေ။ သူသည်မင်းကြီး ကို ခစား ၍ ပြုစုပါစေ။ အရှင် မင်းကြီး ကို နွေး စေခြင်းငှါရင်ခွင် တော်၌ အိပ် ပါစေဟုလျှောက် ကြ၏။
3 And they sought for a fair damsel throughout the territory of Israel, and found Abishag a Shunammite, and brought her to the king.
၃ထိုသို့နှင့်အညီအဆင်း လှသောအပျိုမ ကို ဣသရေလ ပြည် တရှောက်လုံး တွင် ရှာ ၍ ၊ ရှုနင် မြို့သူအဘိရှက် ကို တွေ့ သဖြင့် အထံတော်သို့ ဆောင် ခဲ့ကြ၏။
4 And the damsel was very fair; and cherished the king, and ministered to him; but the king knew her not.
၄ထိုမိန်းမ သည် အလွန် အဆင်းလှ ၏။ ရှင်ဘုရင် ကို လည်း လုပ်ကျွေး ပြုစု လေ၏။ သို့ရာတွင် ရှင်ဘုရင် သိမ်း တော်မ မူ။
5 And Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be king; and he provided himself chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.
၅ထိုနောက် ဟဂ္ဂိတ် သား အဒေါနိယ သည် ရှင် ဘုရင် လုပ်မည်ဟု အကြံရှိလျက်၊ ကိုယ်ကိုချီးမြှောက် ၍ ရထား များနှင့် မြင်း များကို၎င်း ၊ မိမိ ရှေ့ ၌ပြေး ရသောလူ ငါး ဆယ်ကို၎င်း၊ ပြင်ဆင် လေ၏။
6 And his father had not grieved him at any time in saying, Why doest thou so? and he was also a very comely man; and [his mother] bore him after Absalom.
၆ခမည်းတော် က၊ သင်သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤသို့ ပြု သနည်းဟု သူ့စိတ်နာ အောင် တခါမျှမ ပြောစဖူး။ ထိုသူ သည် အဆင်း လည်း အလွန် လှ၏။
7 And he conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah, and with Abiathar the priest; and they helped Adonijah and followed [him].
၇အဗရှလုံ ညီ လည်း ဖြစ်၏။ သူသည်ဇေရုယာ သား ယွာဘ ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အဗျာသာ နှင့် တိုင်ပင်၍ သူတို့သည် အဒေါနိယ ဘက် မှာ နေကြ၏။
8 But Zadok the priest, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and Nathan the prophet, and Shimei, and Rei, and the mighty men whom David had, were not with Adonijah.
၈ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဇာဒုတ် ၊ ယောယဒ သား ဗေနာယ ၊ ပရောဖက် နာသန် ၊ ရှိမိ ၊ ရေဣ အစရှိသော ဒါဝိဒ် ၏ မှူးကြီး မတ်ကြီးများမူကား ၊ အဒေါနိယ ဘက်သို့ မ ဝင်ကြ။
9 And Adonijah sacrificed sheep and oxen and fatted cattle by the stone of Zoheleth, which is by En-rogel, and invited all his brethren, the king's sons, and all the men of Judah, the king's servants;
၉အဒေါနိယ သည် အင်္ရောဂေလ မြို့နယ်အတွင်း ၊ ဇောဟေလက်ကျောက်နား မှာ သိုး ၊ နွား မှစ၍ဆူဖြိုး သော အကောင်တို့ကိုသတ် ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ရှင်ဘုရင် သား မိမိ ညီ များနှင့် ရှင်ဘုရင် ၏ ကျွန် ယုဒ လူ များအပေါင်း တို့ကို ခေါ်ဘိတ် လေ၏။
10 but Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah, and the mighty men, and Solomon his brother, he did not invite.
၁၀ပရောဖက် နာသန် ၊ ဗေနာယ ၊ မှူးကြီး မတ်ကြီးမှစသောညီ ရှောလမုန် ကိုကား မ ခေါ် မဘိတ်။
11 And Nathan spoke to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, Hast thou not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith is king, and David our lord does not know [it]?
၁၁ထိုအခါ နာသန် သည် ရှောလမုန် အမိ ဗာသရှေဘ ထံသို့ သွား၍၊ ဟဂ္ဂိတ် ၏သား အဒေါနိယ သည် ရှင် ဘုရင်လုပ်ကြောင်း ကို ကြား ပြီ လော။ တို့ အရှင် ဒါဝိဒ် သည် မ သိ ပါတကား။
12 And now, come, let me, I pray thee, give thee counsel, that thou mayest save thine own life, and the life of thy son Solomon.
၁၂ယခု မှာသင် ၏ အသက် နှင့် ရှောလမုန် ၏ အသက် ကို ချမ်းသာ စေခြင်းငှါကျွန်ုပ်သည် အကြံ ပေးပါရစေ။
13 Go and get thee in to king David, and say to him, Didst not thou, my lord, O king, swear to thy handmaid saying, Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne? why then does Adonijah reign?
၁၃ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းကြီး ထံ တော်သို့ဝင် ၍ ၊ အိုအရှင် မင်းကြီး ၊ ကိုယ်တော် က သင် ၏သား ရှောလမုန် သည် ငါ့ အရာ ၌ စိုးစံ ၍ နန်း ထိုင် ရမည်ဟု ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် မအား ကျိန်ဆို တော်မူပြီမ ဟုတ်လော။ သို့ဖြစ်လျှင် အဒေါနိယ သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် စိုးစံ ရပါသနည်းဟု လျှောက် လော့။
14 Behold, while thou yet talkest there with the king, I also will come in after thee and confirm thy words.
၁၄ထိုသို့အထံတော်၌ လျှောက် စဉ် တွင်၊ ကျွန်ုပ် ဝင် ၍ သင် ၏စကား ကိုထောက်မ မည်ဟု အကြံပေးသည် အတိုင်း၊
15 And Bathsheba went in to the king into the chamber; and the king was very old; and Abishag the Shunammite ministered to the king.
၁၅ဗာသရှေဘ သည်ရှင်ဘုရင် ရှိ ရာ အခန်း ထဲသို့ ဝင် လေ၏။ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည်အလွန် အို ၍ ရှုနင် မြို့သူအဘိရှက် သည် လုပ်ကျွေး လျက်နေ၏။
16 And Bathsheba bowed and did obeisance to the king. And the king said, What wouldest thou?
၁၆ဗာသရှေဘ သည်ဦးချ ၍ ရှင်ဘုရင် အား ရှိခိုး လျှင် ၊ ရှင်ဘုရင် က အဘယ် အလိုရှိသနည်းဟုမေး တော်မူ၏။
17 And she said to him, My lord, thou hast sworn by Jehovah thy God to thy handmaid, [saying, ] Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne.
၁၇ဗာသရှေဘကလည်း၊ ကျွန်မ သခင် ၊ ကိုယ်တော် က သင် ၏သား ရှောလမုန် သည်ငါ့ အရာ ၌ စိုးစံ ၍ နန်း ထိုင် ရမည်ဟု ကိုယ်တော် ၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကို တိုင်တည် ၍ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် မအား ကျိန်ဆိုတော်မူပြီ။
18 And now behold, Adonijah is king; and now, my lord the king, thou knowest it not.
၁၈ယခု မှာ အဒေါနိယ သည်စိုးစံ ပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်အရှင် မင်းကြီး လည်း သိ တော်မ မူ။
19 And he has sacrificed oxen and fatted cattle and sheep in abundance, and has invited all the sons of the king and Abiathar the priest and Joab the captain of the host; but Solomon thy servant has he not invited.
၁၉အဒေါနိယသည် သိုး နွား မှစ၍ဆူဖြိုး သော အကောင်များ တို့ကို သတ် ပြီးလျှင် ၊ မင်းကြီး ၏ သား တော်အပေါင်း တို့နှင့်တကွ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အဗျာသာ ၊ ဗိုလ်ချုပ် မင်းယွာဘ တို့ကို ခေါ်ဘိတ် ပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် ရှောလမုန် ကို ကား မ ခေါ် မဘိတ်ပါ။
20 And thou, my lord the king, the eyes of all Israel are upon thee, that thou shouldest tell them who shall sit on the throne of my lord the king after him.
၂၀အိုအရှင် မင်းကြီး ၊ ကျွန်မ အရှင် မင်းကြီး ၏ အရာ ၌စိုးစံ၍ အဘယ်သူ သည် နန်း ထိုင် ရမည်ကို မိန့် တော်မူမည်ဟု ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအပေါင်း တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကို မြော်ကြည့်လျက်နေကြပါ၏။
21 Otherwise it shall come to pass when my lord the king shall sleep with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon will be counted offenders.
၂၁သို့မဟုတ် ကျွန်မ အရှင် မင်းကြီး သည် ဘိုးတော် ဘေးတော်တို့နှင့်အတူ ကျိန်းစက် တော်မူသောအခါ ၊ ကျွန်တော်မ နှင့် သား ရှောလမုန် သည် ရာဇဝတ် ခံရသောသူဖြစ် ပါလိမ့်မည်ဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။
22 And behold, while she yet talked with the king, Nathan the prophet also came in.
၂၂ထိုသို့ အထံတော်၌ လျှောက် စဉ် တွင်၊ ပရောဖက် နာသန် သည် ဝင် လျှင် ပရောဖက် နာသန် လာပါသည်ဟု လျှောက် ကြ၏။
23 And they told the king saying, Behold, Nathan the prophet. And when he was come in before the king, he bowed himself before the king with his face to the ground.
၂၃နာသန်သည်လည်း ရှေ့ တော်သို့ ရောက် သောအခါ ဦးချ ပြပ်ဝပ်လျက်၊
24 And Nathan said, My lord, O king, hast thou said, Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne?
၂၄အိုအရှင် မင်းကြီး ၊ ကိုယ်တော် က ငါ့ အရာ ၌ အဒေါနိယ စိုးစံ ၍ နန်း ထိုင် ရမည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူသလော။
25 For he is gone down this day, and has sacrificed oxen and fatted cattle and sheep in abundance, and has invited all the king's sons, and the captains of the host, and Abiathar the priest; and behold, they eat and drink before him, and say, God save king Adonijah!
၂၅သူသည် ယနေ့ ဆင်း သွား၍ ၊ ဆူဖြိုး သော သိုး နွား များ တို့ကို သတ် ပြီးလျှင် မင်းကြီး ၏သား တော်အပေါင်း တို့ကို ၎င်း၊ ဗိုလ် များနှင့် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အဗျာသာ ကို ၎င်း ခေါ်ဘိတ် ပါပြီ။ သူ တို့သည် အဒေါနိယရှေ့ မှာ စား သောက် လျက် ၊ အဒေါနိယ မင်းကြီး သည် အသက် တော်ရှင်စေသတည်းဟု ကြွေးကြော် လျက် ယခုရှိကြပါ၏။
26 But me, [even] me thy servant, and Zadok the priest, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and thy servant Solomon, he has not invited.
၂၆ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် အကျွန်ုပ် ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဇာဒုတ် ၊ ယောယဒ သား ဗေနာယ ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် ရှောလမုန် တို့ကို ကား မ ခေါ် မဘိတ်ပါ။
27 Is this thing done by my lord the king, and thou hast not shewn to thy servants who should sit on the throne of my lord the king after him?
၂၇အရှင် မင်းကြီး ၏အရာ ၌ အဘယ်သူ နန်း ထိုင် ရမည်ကို ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် အားပြ တော်မ မူဘဲ ဤ အမှု ကို အရှင် မင်းကြီး စီရင် တော်မူပြီလောဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။
28 Then king David answered and said, Call me Bathsheba. And she came into the king's presence, and stood before the king.
၂၈ထိုအခါ ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းကြီး က၊ ဗာသရှေဘ ကို ခေါ် ခဲ့ ပါဟု မိန့် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ၊ ဗာသရှေဘသည်လာ ၍ ရှေ့ တော်၌ ရပ် နေ၏။
29 And the king swore, and said, [As] Jehovah liveth, who has redeemed my soul out of all distress,
၂၉ရှင်ဘုရင် ကလည်း၊ ငါ့ အသက် ဝိညာဉ်ကို ခပ်သိမ်း သော ဒုက္ခ ထဲက ကယ်နှုတ် တော်မူသော ထာဝရဘုရား အသက် ရှင်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊
30 even as I swore to thee by Jehovah the God of Israel, saying, Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne in my stead; even so will I certainly do this day.
၃၀သင် ၏သား ရှောလမုန် သည် ငါ့ အရာ ၌စိုးစံ ၍ ငါ့ ကိုယ်စား နန်း ထိုင် ရမည်ဟု ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ ဘုရား သခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ငါတိုင်တည် ၍ သင့် အား ကျိန်ဆိုသည် နှင့်အညီ ယနေ့ ငါပြု မည်ဟု တဖန်ကျိန်ဆို တော်မူ၏။
31 And Bathsheba bowed with her face to the earth, and did reverence to the king, and said, Let my lord king David live for ever.
၃၁ဗာသရှေဘ သည် ဦးချ ပြပ်ဝပ်လျက် ၊ ရှင်ဘုရင် အား ရှိခိုး လျက် ၊ အရှင် ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းကြီး သည် အသက် တော် အစဉ်အမြဲ ရှင်စေသတည်းဟု မြွက်ဆို ၏။
32 And king David said, Call me Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada. And they came before the king.
၃၂ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းကြီး ကလည်း ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဇာဒုတ် ၊ ပရောဖက် နာသန် ၊ ယောယဒ သား ဗေနာယ တို့ကို ခေါ် ခဲ့ပါဟု မိန့် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ၊ သူတို့သည် ရှေ့ တော်သို့ ဝင် လာကြ၏။
33 And the king said to them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon;
၃၃ရှင်ဘုရင် ကလည်း ၊ သင် တို့အရှင် ၏ ကျွန် များကို ခေါ်၍ ငါ သား ရှောလမုန် ကို ငါ ၏မြင်းလား တော်ပေါ် မှာ စီး စေလျက် ၊ ဂိဟုန် မြို့သို့ ဆောင် သွားကြလော့။
34 and let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel; and blow ye with the trumpet, and say, Long live king Solomon!
၃၄ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဇာဒုတ် နှင့် ပရောဖက် နာသန် သည် ထို မြို့မှာ ဘိသိက် ပေး၍ ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် အရာ ၌ ချီးမြှောက်ပြီးလျှင်၊ တံပိုး မှုတ် ၍ ရှောလမုန် မင်းကြီး သည် အသက် တော်ရှင်စေသတည်းဟု ကြွေးကြော် ကြလော့။
35 And ye shall come up after him, that he may come and sit on my throne; for he shall reign in my stead, and I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and over Judah.
၃၅ထိုနောက် သင်တို့လိုက် လျက် ငါ့သားသည်လာ ၍ နန်း ထိုင် ရမည်။ ငါ့ ကိုယ်စား ရှင် ဘုရင်ဖြစ်ရမည်။ ထိုသူ ကို ဣသရေလ မင်း ၊ ယုဒ မင်းအရာ၌ ငါခန့် ထားသည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
36 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king and said, Amen: Jehovah, the God of my lord the king, say so too.
၃၆ယောယဒ သား ဗေနာယ က အာမင်။ အရှင် မင်းကြီး ကိုးကွယ်သော ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား သည် လည်း ထိုသို့မိန့် တော်မူပါစေသော။
37 As Jehovah has been with my lord the king, even so be he with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord king David.
၃၇ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အရှင် မင်းကြီး ဘက် မှာ ရှိ တော်မူသည်နည်းတူ ရှောလမုန် ဘက် မှာ ရှိ တော်မူပါစေသော။ အရှင် မင်းကြီး ဒါဝိဒ် ၏ ရာဇပလ္လင် ထက် သား တော်၏ ရာဇပလ္လင် သည်သာ၍ဘုန်းကြီး မည် အကြောင်းစီရင်တော်မူပါစေသောဟု ရှင်ဘုရင် ကို ပြန်လျှောက် လေ၏။
38 And Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites and the Pelethites went down, and caused Solomon to ride upon king David's mule, and brought him to Gihon.
၃၈ထိုအခါ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဇာဒုတ် ၊ ပရောဖက် နာသန် ၊ ယောယဒ သား ဗေနာယ ၊ ခေရသိ လူ၊ ပေလသိ လူတို့သည် ထွက် ၍ ရှောလမုန် ကို ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းကြီး ၏ မြင်းလား ပေါ် မှာ စီး စေလျက် ဂိဟုန် မြို့သို့ ဆောင် သွားကြ၏။
39 And Zadok the priest took the horn of oil out of the tabernacle, and anointed Solomon. And they blew the trumpet; and all the people said, Long live king Solomon!
၃၉ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဇာဒုတ် သည် တဲ တော်ထဲက ဆီ ဘူး ကိုယူ ၍ ရှောလမုန် ကိုဘိသိက် ပေးပြီးမှ ၊ သူတို့သည် တံပိုး မှုတ် ၍ ၊ ရှောလမုန် မင်းကြီး သည် အသက် တော်ရှင် စေသတည်းဟု လူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် ဟစ်ကြော် ကြ၏။
40 And all the people came up after him, and the people piped with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth rent with the sound of them.
၄၀လူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် တီးမှုတ် လျက် နောက် တော်သို့လိုက် ၍၊ မြေကြီး ကွဲ မတတ်ရှိသည်တိုင်အောင် အလွန် ဝမ်းမြောက် သောအသံ ကို ပြုကြ၏။
41 And Adonijah and all the guests that were with him heard [it] as they were finishing their repast; and Joab heard the sound of the trumpet, and he said, Wherefore this noise of the city in an uproar?
၄၁အဒေါနိယ နှင့် သူ ၏အပေါင်းအဘော်တို့သည် စားသောက် ပွဲ ပြီး သောအခါ ထိုအသံကို ကြား ကြ၏။ တံပိုး မှုတ်သံ ကိုယွာဘ ကြား လျှင် ၊ တမြို့လုံး အုတ်အုတ်ကျက်ကျက် ပြုသံ ကား၊ အဘယ်သို့ နည်းဟုမေး စဉ် ပင်၊
42 While he yet spoke, behold, Jonathan the son of Abiathar the priest came; and Adonijah said [to him], Come in; for thou art a valiant man, and bringest good news.
၄၂ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အဗျာသာ ၏သား ယောနသန် သည်လာ လျှင် ၊ အဒေါနိယ ကဝင် ပါ။ သင် သည် လူ ကောင်းဖြစ်၍ ၊ ကောင်း သောသိတင်း ကို ကြားပြောလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆိုလျှင်၊
43 And Jonathan answered and said to Adonijah, Indeed, our lord king David has made Solomon king.
၄၃ယောနသန် က၊ အကယ်စင်စစ်ငါ တို့အရှင် ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းကြီး သည် ရှောလမုန် ကို ရှင် ဘုရင်အရာ၌ ခန့်ထားတော်မူပြီ။
44 And the king has sent with him Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites and the Pelethites, and they have caused him to ride upon the king's mule;
၄၄ရှင် ဘုရင်သည်လည်း ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဇာဒုတ် ၊ ပရောဖက် နာသန် ၊ ယောယဒ သား ဗေနာယ ၊ ခေရသိ လူ၊ ပေလသိ လူတို့ကို ရှောလမုန် နှင့်အတူ စေလွှတ် တော်မူ၍ မြင်းလား တော်ပေါ် မှာ စီး စေကြပါပြီ။
45 and Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king at Gihon; and they are come up from thence rejoicing, so that the city is in an uproar. This is the noise which ye have heard.
၄၅ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဇာဒုတ် နှင့် ပရောဖက် နာသန် တို့သည် ရှောလမုန်ကို ဂိဟုန် မြို့၌ ရာဇ ဘိသိက်ပေးပါပြီ။ ထို မြို့မှ ဝမ်းမြောက် စွာ လာ ပြန်၍ ၊ တမြို့လုံး အုတ်အုတ်ကျက်ကျက် သောအသံ ကို ကိုယ်တော်ကြား ရပါ၏။
46 And also Solomon is sitting on the throne of the kingdom.
၄၆ရှောလမုန် သည်လည်း ရာဇ ပလ္လင်တော်ပေါ် မှာ ထိုင် ပါ၏။
47 And moreover the king's servants came to bless our lord king David, saying, Thy God make the name of Solomon more excellent than thy name, and make his throne greater than thy throne! And the king bowed himself on the bed.
၄၇ရှင်ဘုရင် ၏ ကျွန် တို့သည်လည်း တို့ အရှင် ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းကြီး ကို ကောင်းကြီး ပေးခြင်းငှါ သွား ၍ ဘုရား သခင် သည် ရှောလမုန် ၏နာမ ကိုခမည်းတော်၏နာမ ထက် သာ၍ချီးမြှောက် တော်မူပါစေသော။ သူ ၏ရာဇ ပလ္လင် ကို ခမည်းတော်၏ ရာဇ ပလ္လင်ထက် သာ၍ဘုန်းကြီး မည်အကြောင်းစီရင်တော်မူပါစေသောဟု လျှောက်လျှင်၊ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် သာလွန် တော်ပေါ် မှာ ဦးချ လျက်၊
48 And also thus said the king: Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, who has given one to sit on my throne this day, mine eyes even seeing it.
၄၈ငါသည် ကိုယ် မျက်စိ နှင့်မြင် စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ငါ့ နန်း ပေါ် မှာ ထိုင် ရသောသူကို ယနေ့ ပေး သနားတော်မူသော ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ရှင်ဘုရင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိတော်မူစေသတည်းဟု မိန့်တော်မူကြောင်းကို အဒေါနိယ အား ပြန်လျှောက် လေ၏။
49 And all Adonijah's guests were afraid, and rose up and went every man his way.
၄၉ထိုအခါ အဒေါနိယ နှင့် ပေါင်းဘော် သော သူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ကြောက်ရွံ့ သဖြင့် ထ ၍ တယောက် တခြားစီ သွား ကြ၏။
50 And Adonijah feared because of Solomon, and arose and went and caught hold of the horns of the altar.
၅၀အဒေါနိယ သည်လည်း ရှောလမုန် ကို ကြောက် သဖြင့် ထ သွား ၍ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်ဦးချို တို့ကို ကိုင် လျက်နေ၏။
51 And it was told Solomon saying, Behold, Adonijah fears king Solomon; for behold, he has caught hold of the horns of the altar, saying, Let king Solomon swear to me this day that he will not put his servant to death with the sword.
၅၁အဒေါနိယ သည် ရှောလမုန် မင်းကြီး ကို ကြောက် ၍ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်ဦးချို တို့ကို ကိုင် လျက်၊ ရှောလမုန် မင်းကြီး သည် ကျွန်တော် ကို မ ကွပ်မျက် မည်အကြောင်းယနေ့ ကျိန်ဆို တော်မူပါစေဟုဆို ကြောင်းကို ရှောလမုန် အား လျှောက် လေသော်၊
52 And Solomon said, If he be a worthy man, there shall not one of his hairs fall to the earth; but if wickedness be found in him, he shall die.
၅၂ရှောလမုန် က၊ သူသည်လူ ကောင်း ဖြစ် လျှင် ၊ ဆံခြည် တပင်မျှ မြေ သို့ မ ကျ ရ။ အပြစ် ရှိ လျှင် အသေခံ ရမည် ဟု အမိန့် တော်ရှိ၍၊
53 And king Solomon sent, and they brought him down from the altar. And he came and bowed himself to king Solomon; and Solomon said to him, Go to thy house.
၅၃လူကိုစေလွှတ် သဖြင့် ၊ အဒေါနိယကို ယဇ် ပလ္လင်မှ ခေါ် ခဲ့သည်အတိုင်း ၊ သူသည်လာ ၍ ရှောလမုန် မင်းကြီး ရှေ့ မှာ ဦးချ လေ၏။ ရှောလမုန် ကလည်း ၊ သင့် အိမ် သို့ သွား လော့ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
