1 Corinthians 12
1 But concerning spiritual [manifestations], brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant.
೧ಸಹೋದರರೇ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದುಂಟಾಗುವ ವರಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆಯಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
2 Ye know that when ye were [of the] nations [ye were] led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led.
೨ನೀವು ಅನ್ಯಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಮೂಕ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀವು ಅವುಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿರೆಂದು ಬಲ್ಲಿರಿ.
3 I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in [the power of the] Spirit of God, says, Curse [on] Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in [the power of the] Holy Spirit.
೩ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ “ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನೆಂದು” ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಮತ್ತು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಹೊರತು ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ “ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು” ಹೇಳಲಾರನು.
4 But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit;
೪ವರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ವಿಧಗಳುಂಟು. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ.
5 and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord;
೫ಸೇವೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ವಿಧಗಳುಂಟು ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ.
6 and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all.
೬ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ವಿಧಗಳುಂಟು ಆದರೆ ಸರ್ವರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸರ್ವ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ದೇವರು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ.
7 But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit.
೭ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಲ್ಲಿ ತೋರಿಬರುವ ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನ ವರಗಳು ಸರ್ವರ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
8 For to one, by the Spirit, is given [the] word of wisdom; and to another [the] word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
೮ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನ ಮೂಲಕ ಜ್ಞಾನವಾಕ್ಯವು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಆ ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದಲೇ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆಯ ವಾಕ್ಯವು
9 and to a different one faith, in [the power of] the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in [the power of] the same Spirit;
೯ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಆ ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದಲೇ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದಲೇ ನಾನಾ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವ ವರವು,
10 and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues.
೧೦ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ವರವು, ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯ ವರವು, ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ವಿವೇಚಿಸುವ ವರವು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವ ವರವು, ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಹೇಳುವ ವರವು ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
11 But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.
೧೧ಆದರೆ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಆತ್ಮನೇ ವರಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಡುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
12 For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ.
೧೨ಹೇಗೆ ದೇಹವು ಒಂದಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಅಂಗಗಳು ಅನೇಕವಾಗಿವೆಯೋ, ಹೇಗೆ ದೇಹದ ಅಂಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅನೇಕವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಒಂದೇ ದೇಹವಾಗಿದೆಯೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.
13 For also in [the power of] one Spirit we have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit.
೧೩ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಾಗಲಿ, ಗ್ರೀಕರಾಗಲಿ, ದಾಸರಾಗಲಿ, ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರರಾಗಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಂದೇ ದೇಹವಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಒಂದೇ ಆತ್ಮನಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆವು. ಒಂದೇ ಆತ್ಮವು ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಪಾನವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
14 For also the body is not one member but many.
೧೪ದೇಹವು ಒಂದೇ ಅಂಗವಲ್ಲ. ಅನೇಕ ಅಂಗಗಳುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.
15 If the foot say, Because I am not a hand I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?
೧೫ಕಾಲು “ನಾನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು” ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಅದು ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರದೆ ಇರುವುದೋ?
16 And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?
೧೬ಕಿವಿ “ನಾನು ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು” ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಅದು ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರದೆ ಇರುವುದೋ?
17 If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? if all hearing, where the smelling?
೧೭ದೇಹವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಣ್ಣಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಏನೂ ಕೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ದೇಹವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಿವಿಯಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಯಾವ ವಾಸನೆಯನ್ನು ಮೂಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
18 But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body, according as it has pleased [him].
೧೮ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಆ ಅಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ತನಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ತೋಚಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ದೇಹದೊಳಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
19 But if all were one member, where the body?
೧೯ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಒಂದೇ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ದೇಹವೆಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು?
20 But now the members [are] many, and the body one.
೨೦ಆದರೆ ಅಂಗಗಳು ಅನೇಕವಾಗಿದೆ ಆದರೆ ದೇಹವು ಒಂದೇ.
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, I have not need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have not need of you.
೨೧ಕಣ್ಣು ಕೈಗೆ, “ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ,” ತಲೆಯು “ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ” ಹೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
22 But much rather, the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;
೨೨ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಪಮಾನವುಳ್ಳವುಗಳು ಎಂದೆಣಿಸಿ ಕಾಣುವ ಅಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯವಶ್ಯವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕಲ್ಲವೋ?
23 and those [parts] of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness;
೨೩ಮತ್ತು ನಾವು ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಪಮಾನವುಳ್ಳವುಗಳು ಎಂದೆಣಿಸುವ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಡಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದುಂಟಲ್ಲಾ. ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾನವಿಲ್ಲದ ಅಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಮಾನವುಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
24 but our comely [parts] have not need. But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to [the part] that lacked;
೨೪ಮಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಅಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಏನೂ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೇದವೇನೂ ಇರದೇ ಅಂಗಗಳು ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದರ ಹಿತವನ್ನು ಚಿಂತಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವರು ಕೊರತೆಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಹದವಾಗಿ ಜೋಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
25 that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another.
೨೫
26 And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with [it]; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with [it].
೨೬ಒಂದು ಅಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ನೋವಾದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂಗಗಳಿಗೂ ನೋವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಒಂದು ಅಂಗ ಗೌರವಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂಗಗಳಿಗೂ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
27 Now ye are Christ's body, and members in particular.
೨೭ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ದೇಹವು ಮತ್ತು ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂಗಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
28 And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues.
೨೮ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರನ್ನು, ಎರಡನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಮೂರನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಬೋಧಕರನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು, ನಾನಾ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವ ವರವನ್ನೂ, ಪರಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಗುಣವನ್ನೂ, ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವ ವರವನ್ನೂ ಅವರವರಿಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
29 [Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all [in possession of] miraculous powers?
೨೯ಎಲ್ಲರು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಬೋಧಕರೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರೋ?
30 have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
೩೦ರೋಗ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವ ವರಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಉಂಟೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅನ್ಯಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವರೋ? ಅನ್ಯಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಶಕ್ತಿಯುಂಟೋ?
31 But desire earnestly the greater gifts, and yet shew I unto you a way of more surpassing excellence.
೩೧ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ವರಗಳನ್ನು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಸರ್ವೋತ್ತಮವಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗವೊಂದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
