1 Corinthians 11
1 Be my imitators, even as I also [am] of Christ.
मेरो अनुकरण गर्नेहरू होओ, जसरी म ख्रीष्टको अनुकरण गर्दछु ।
2 Now I praise you, that in all things ye are mindful of me; and that as I have directed you, ye keep the directions.
म तिमीहरूको प्रशंसा गर्दछु किनकि तिमीहरूले हरेक कुरामा मलाई सम्झन्छौ । म तिमीहरूको प्रशंसा गर्दछु, किनकि मैले सिकाएका शिक्षा तिमीहरूले कायम राख्छौ ।
3 But I wish you to know that the Christ is the head of every man, but woman's head [is] the man, and the Christ's head God.
म तिमीहरूले यो बुझ भन्ने चाहन्छु कि येशू ख्रीष्ट प्रत्येक मानिसको शिर हुनुहुन्छ, मानिस स्त्रीको शिर हो, र परमेश्वरचाहिँ ख्रीष्टको शिर हुनुहुन्छ ।
4 Every man praying or prophesying, having [anything] on his head, puts his head to shame.
कुनै पुरुषले आफ्नो शिर ढाकेर प्रर्थना गर्छ अथवा अगमवाणी बोल्छ भने उसले परमेश्वरको अपमान गर्छ ।
5 But every woman praying or prophesying with her head uncovered puts her own head to shame; for it is one and the same as a shaved [woman].
तर यदि कुनै स्त्रीले आफ्नो शिर नढाकी प्रार्थना गर्छे वा अगमवाणी बोल्छे भने उसले आफ्नो शिरको अपमान गर्छे । किनकि यसो गर्नु भनेको उसले आफ्नो केश खौरेको जस्तै हो ।
6 For if a woman be not covered, let her hair also be cut off. But if [it be] shameful to a woman to have her hair cut off or to be shaved, let her be covered.
यदि कुनै स्त्रीले आफ्नो शिर ढाक्दिन भने, उसले आफ्नो केश छोटो गरी काटोस् । यदि कपाल काट्नु उसको लागि शर्मको कुरा हो भने उसले आफ्नो शिर ढाकोस् ।
7 For man indeed ought not to have his head covered, being God's image and glory; but woman is man's glory.
पुरुषले आफ्नो शिर नढाकोस् किनकि ऊ परमेश्वरको प्रतिरूप र गौरव हो । तर स्त्रीचाहिँ पुरुषको गौरव हो ।
8 For man is not of woman, but woman of man.
किनकी पुरुष स्त्रीबाट बनिएको होइन, तर स्त्री पुरुषबाट बनिएकी हो ।
9 For also man was not created for the sake of the woman, but woman for the sake of the man.
न त पुरुष स्त्रीको निम्ति सृष्टि गरिएका हो, तर स्त्री पुरुषको निम्ति बनिएकी हो ।
10 Therefore ought the woman to have authority on her head, on account of the angels.
यसै कारणले स्वर्गदूतहरूका खातिर स्त्रीले आफ्नो शिरमा अधिकारको चिह्न लगाउनुपर्छ ।
11 However, neither [is] woman without man, nor man without woman, in [the] Lord.
तापनि प्रभुमा स्त्री पुरुषबाट स्वतन्त्र हुन्न न त स्त्रीबाट पुरुष नै ।
12 For as the woman [is] of the man, so also [is] the man by the woman, but all things of God.
किनकि जसरी स्त्री पुरुषबाट आउँछे त्यसरी नै पुरुष पनि स्त्रीबाट आउँछ । र सबै कुरा परमेश्वरबाट आउँछन् ।
13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman should pray to God uncovered?
तिमीहरू आफैँ विचार गरः के स्त्रीले आफ्नो शिर नढाकी परमेश्वरसँग प्रार्थना गर्नु उपयुक्त हो?
14 Does not even nature itself teach you, that man, if he have long hair, it is a dishonour to him?
कुनै पुरुषले लामो केश पाल्नु उसको निम्ति शर्मको कुरो हो भन्ने प्रकृतिले पनि तिमीहरूलाई सिकाउँदैन र?
15 But woman, if she have long hair, [it is] glory to her; for the long hair is given [to her] in lieu of a veil.
कुनै स्त्रीको लामो केश हुनु, उसको निम्ति गौरवको कुरो हो भन्ने प्रकृतिले पनि तिमीहरूलाई सिकाउँदैन र?
16 But if any one think to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor the assemblies of God.
तर यदि कोही यस विषयमा बहस गर्न चाहन्छ भने हामीसँग अर्को कुनै प्रथा छैन, न परमेश्वरको मण्डलीसँग छ ।
17 But [in] prescribing [to you on] this [which I now enter on], I do not praise, [namely, ] that ye come together, not for the better, but for the worse.
यी निर्देशनहरू दिँदा म तिमीहरूको प्रशंसा गर्दिनँ । किनकि तिमीहरू असलको निम्ति होइन तर खराबको निम्ति भेला हुन्छौ ।
18 For first, when ye come together in assembly, I hear there exist divisions among you, and I partly give credit [to it].
पहिलो कुरा त तिमीहरू मण्डलीमा भेला हुँदा, तिमीहरूमा फाटो हुन्छ भन्ने म सुन्छु र म केही हदसम्म विश्वास पनि गर्छु ।
19 For there must also be sects among you, that the approved may become manifest among you.
तिमीहरूका माझमा स्वीकृत भएका व्यक्तिहरू चिनिनको लागि पनि तिमीहरूका माझमा गुटबन्दी हुनु आवश्यक छ ।
20 When ye come therefore together into one place, it is not to eat [the] Lord's supper.
तिमीहरू भेला भएर खाएको कुरा प्रभु-भोज होइन ।
21 For each one in eating takes his own supper before [others], and one is hungry and another drinks to excess.
जब तिमीहरू खान्छौ, अरूले आफ्नो भोजन खानुअगि हरेकले आफ्नो खाना खान्छ । एक जना भोकै हुन्छ र अर्को मातेको हुन्छ ।
22 Have ye not then houses for eating and drinking? or do ye despise the assembly of God, and put to shame them who have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you? In this [point] I do not praise.
के खान र पिउनको लागि तिम्रो आफ्नै घर छैन र? के तिमीहरू केही नभएकाहरूलाई अपमान गर्छौ र परमेश्वरको मण्डलीलाई तुच्छ ठान्छौ? म तिमीहरूलाई के भनूँ? के तिमीहरूको प्रशंसा गरूँ? यसको निम्ति म तिमीहरूको प्रशंसा गर्दिनँ ।
23 For I received from the Lord, that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus, in the night in which he was delivered up, took bread,
मैले जे परमेश्वरबाट पाएँ त्यो मैले तिमीहरूलाई सुम्पिदिएँ, कि प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टले धोका पाएको त्यो रात रोटी लिनुभयो ।
24 and having given thanks broke [it], and said, This is my body, which [is] for you: this do in remembrance of me.
धन्यवाद दिनुभएपछि उहाँले रोटी भाँच्नुभयो र भन्नु भयो, “यो मेरो शरीर हो; यो तिमीहरूको निम्ति हो । मेरो सम्झनाको निम्ति यो गर ।”
25 In like manner also the cup, after having supped, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood: this do, as often as ye shall drink [it], in remembrance of me.
त्यसरी नै खाइसक्नुभएपछि कचौरा लिनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “यो कचौरा मेरो रगतमा भएको नयाँ करार हो । जब तिमीहरू पिउँछौ, मेरो सम्झना गर्ने गर ।”
26 For as often as ye shall eat this bread, and drink the cup, ye announce the death of the Lord, until he come.
जब जब तिमीहरूले यो रोटी खान्छौ र कचौराबाट पिउँछौ, उहाँ नआउञ्जेलसम्म प्रभुको मृत्युको घोषणा गर्छौ ।
27 So that whosoever shall eat the bread, or drink the cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty in respect of the body and of the blood of the Lord.
यसकारण जसले अयोग्य रीतिले रोटी खान्छ र कचौराबाट पिउँछ, ऊ प्रभुको शरीर र रगतको दोषी हुनेछ ।
28 But let a man prove himself, and thus eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.
कुनै व्यक्तिले पहिले आफैँलाई जाँचोस् र रोटी खाओस् र कचौरबाट पिओस् ।
29 For [the] eater and drinker eats and drinks judgment to himself, not distinguishing the body.
किनकि जसले शरीरको वास्ता नाराखीकन रोटी खान्छ र कचौराबाट पिउँछ, उसले खाएको र पिएको कारण आफूमाथि न्यायको दण्ड ल्याउँछ ।
30 On this account many among you [are] weak and infirm, and a good many are fallen asleep.
त्यसकारण, तिमीहरूमध्ये धेरै जना रोगी र बिमारी छन् र कोही त मरिसकेका छन् ।
31 But if we judged ourselves, so were we not judged.
तर यदि हामीले आफैँलाई जाँच गर्यौँ भने हामी न्यायमा पर्नेछैनौँ ।
32 But being judged, we are disciplined of [the] Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
तर जब हामी परमेश्वरबाट जाँचिन्छौँ हामी अनुशासित हुनेछौँ, र संसारसँगै दोषी ठहरिनेछैनौँ ।
33 So that, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, wait for one another.
त्यसकारण, मेरा भाइहरू हो, जब तिमीहरू खानको लागि भेला हुन्छौ एकले अर्कालाई पर्ख ।
34 If any one be hungry, let him eat at home, that ye may not come together for judgment. But the other things, whenever I come, I will set in order.
यदि कोही भोकाएको छ भने त्यसले घरैमा खाओस्, ताकि तिमीहरू भेला हुँदा तिमीहरू न्यायमा पर्नेछैनौ । र तिमीहरूले लेखेका अन्य विषयहरूको बारेमा म आएपछि निर्देशनहरू दिनेछु ।
