1 Adam, Seth, Enosh,
၁အာဒံ၏သားသည်ရှေသ၊ ရှေသ၏သားမှာ ဧနုတ်၊ ဧနုတ်၏သားကားကာဣနန်ဖြစ်၏။-
2 Cainan, Mahalaleel, Jared,
၂ကာဣနန်၏သားသည်မဟာလေလ၊ မဟာ လေလ၏သားကားယာရက်တည်း။-
3 Enoch, Methushelah, Lemech,
၃ယာရက်၏သားသည်ဧနောက်၊ ဧနောက်၏သား မှာမသုရှလ၊ မသုရှလ၏သားကားလာမက် ဖြစ်၏။-
4 Noah; Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
၄လာမက်၏သားသည်နောဧဖြစ်၍နောဧတွင် ရှေမ၊ ဟာမ၊ ယာဖက်ဟူသောသားသုံးယောက် ရှိ၏။
5 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
၅ယာဖက်၏သားများဖြစ်ကြသော ဂေါမာ၊ မာ ဂေါဂ၊ မာဒဲ၊ ယာဝန်၊ တုဗလ၊ မေရှကနှင့်တိ ရတ်တို့သည်မိမိတို့နာမည်အသီးသီးကို ဆောင်ကုန်သောအမျိုးသားတို့၏ဘိုးဘေး များဖြစ်ကြ၏။-
6 — And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
၆ဂေါမာမှဆင်းသက်လာသူများမှာအာရှ ကေနတ်၊ ရိဖတ်နှင့်တောဂါမအမျိုးသား များဖြစ်သတည်း။-
7 And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim.
၇ယာဝန်မှဆင်းသက်လာသူများသည်ဧလိရှာ၊ တာရှု၊ ကိတ္တိမ်နှင့်ဒေါဒါနိမ်အမျိုးသားများ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။
8 The sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim, Phut and Canaan.
၈ဟာမ၏သားများဖြစ်ကြသောကုရှ၊ အီဂျစ်၊ လိဘိယနှင့်ခါနာန်တို့သည်မိမိတို့၏နာမည် အသီးသီးကို ဆောင်ကုန်သောအမျိုးသား တို့၏ဘိုးဘေးများဖြစ်ကြ၏။-
9 — And the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
၉ကုရှမှဆင်းသက်လာသူများမှာသေဘ၊ ဟဝိလ၊ သာဗတ၊ ရာဂမနှင့်သတ္တေခါ အမျိုးသားများဖြစ်ပေသည်။ ရာဂမမှ ဆင်းသက်လာသူများသည်ရှေဘနှင့် ဒေဒန်အမျိုးသားများဖြစ်ကြ၏။-
10 And Cush begot Nimrod: he began to be mighty on the earth.
၁၀(ကုရှတွင်နိမ်ရောဒနာမည်ရှိသောသားတစ် ယောက်ရှိ၏။ သူသည်ကမ္ဘာပေါ်တွင်ပထမ အဦးဆုံးလူစွမ်းကောင်းဖြစ်လာ၏။-)
11 — And Mizraim begot the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,
၁၁အီဂျစ်မှဆင်းသက်လာသူများမှာလုဒိန်၊ အာနမိမ်၊ လဟာဗိမ်၊ နတ္တုဟိမ်၊-
12 and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim out of whom came the Philistines, and the Caphtorim.
၁၂ပါသရုသိမ်၊ ကာသလုဟိမ်နှင့်ကတ္တောရိမ် အမျိုးသားများတည်း။ (ကတ္တောရိမ်အမျိုး သားများမှဖိလိတ္တိအမျိုးသားတို့ဆင်း သက်ပေါက်ပွားလာကြပေသည်။-)
13 — And Canaan begot Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,
၁၃ခါနာန်၏သားအကြီးဇိဒုန်နှင့်သားငယ် ဟေသတို့မှဆင်းသက်လာသူများမှာ မိမိ တို့၏အမည်နာမအသီးသီးကိုဆောင် ကုန်သောအမျိုးသားများဖြစ်ကြ၏။-
14 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
၁၄ခါနာန်သည်ယေဗုသိ၊ အာမောရိ၊ ဂိရဂါရှိ၊- ဟိဝိ၊ အာကိ၊ သိနိ၊- အာဝဒိ၊ ဇေမရိနှင့်ဟာမသိ အမျိုးသားများ၏ဘိုးဘေးများဖြစ်ကြ၏။
15 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

16 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

17 The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
၁၇ရှေမ၏သားများဖြစ်ကြသော ဧလံ၊ အာရှု၊ အာဖာဇဒ်၊ လုဒ၊ အာရံ၊ ဥဇ၊ ဟုလ၊ ဂေသာ နှင့်မာရှတို့သည် မိမိတို့၏နာမည်အသီး သီးကိုဆောင်ကုန်သောအမျိုးသားတို့၏ ဘိုးဘေးများဖြစ်ကြ၏။-
18 — And Arphaxad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.
၁၈အာဖာဇဒ်၏သားသည် ရှာလ၊ ရှာလ၏သား မှာဟေဗာဖြစ်၏။-
19 And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
၁၉ဟေဗာတွင်သားနှစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။ တစ်ယောက်သည် ဖာလက်ဟုနာမည်တွင်၏။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆို သော်သူ၏လက်ထက်တွင် ကမ္ဘာပေါ်ရှိလူတို့ သည်ကွဲသွားကြသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။ အခြား သားတစ်ယောက်သည်ယုတ္တန်ဟုနာမည်တွင်၏။-
20 And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
၂၀ယုတ္တန်မှဆင်းသက်လာသူများမှာ အာလ မောဒန်၊ ရှေလပ်၊ ဟာဇာမာဝက်၊ ယေရ၊-
21 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
၂၁ဟဒေါရံ၊ ဥဇာလ၊ ဒိကလ၊
22 and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
၂၂သြဗာလ၊ အဘိမေလ၊ ရှေဘ၊ သြဖိရ၊ ဟဝိလနှင့်ယောဗပ်အမျိုးသားများဖြစ် သတည်း။
23 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were sons of Joktan.

24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
၂၄ရှေမမှအာဗြဟံအထိဆွေစဉ်မျိုးဆက် များမှာ ရှေမ၊ အာဖာဇဒ်၊ ရှာလ၊-
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,
၂၅ဟေဗာ၊ ဖာလက်၊ ရာဂေါ၊- စေရောက်၊ နာခေါ်၊ တေရ နှင့်၊-အာဗြဟံဟုလည်းနာမည်တွင်သောအာဗြံ တို့ဖြစ်ကြ၏။
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27 Abram: the same is Abraham.
၂၇
28 The sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.
၂၈အာဗြဟံတွင်ဣဇာက်နှင့်ဣရှမေလဟူ၍ သားနှစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။-
29 These are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam;
၂၉ဣရှမေလမှဆင်းသက်လာသူများသည် အနွယ် တစ်ဆယ့်နှစ်နွယ်တို့၏ဦးစီးခေါင်းဆောင်များ ဖြစ်လာကြ၏။ ထိုတစ်ဆယ့်နှစ်နွယ်တို့၏နာ မည်များမှာ (ဣရှမေလ၏သားဦးကို အစွဲ ပြု၍မှည့်ခေါ်သည်) နဗာယုတ်၊ ကေဒါ၊ အာဒ ဗေလ၊ မိဗသံ၊-
30 Mishma and Dumah; Massa, Hadad, and Tema;
၃၀မိရှမ၊ ဒုမာ၊ မာစ၊ ဟာဒါ၊ တေမ၊-
31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedmah: those are the sons of Ishmael.
၃၁ယေတုရ၊ နာဖိရှ၊ ကေဒမာဟူ၍ဖြစ်သတည်း။
32 — And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.
၃၂အာဗြဟံ၏မယားနှောင်းနာမည်မှာကေတုရ ဖြစ်၏။ သူသည်ဇိမရံ၊ ယုတ်ရှန်၊ မေဒန်၊ မိဒျန်၊ ဣရှဘတ်နှင့်ရှုအာဟူသောသားခြောက်ယောက် ကိုဖွားမြင်လေသည်။ ယုတ်ရှန်တွင်ရှာဘနှင့် ဒေဒန်ဟူသောသားနှစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။-
33 And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Enoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were sons of Keturah.
၃၃မိဒျန်တွင်ဧဖာ၊ ဧဖေရ၊ ဟာနုတ်၊ အဘိဒ နှင့်ဧလဒါဟူသောသားငါးယောက်ရှိ၏။
34 And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
၃၄အာဗြဟံ၏သားဣဇာက်တွင် ဧသောနှင့် ယာကုပ်ဟူ၍သားနှစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။-
35 The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
၃၅ဧသော၏သားများကား ဧလိဖတ်၊ ရွေလ၊ ယုရှ၊ ယာလံ၊ နှင့်ကောရဖြစ်၏။-
36 — The sons of Eliphaz: Teman and Omar, Zephi and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
၃၆ဧလိဖတ်သည် တေမန်၊ သြမရ၊ ဇေပေါ်၊ ဂါတံ၊ ကေနတ်၊ တိမနနှင့်အာမလက်အနွယ်တို့၏ ဘိုးဘေးဖြစ်လာ၏။-
37 The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
၃၇ရွေလသည်လည်း၊ နာဟတ်၊ ဇေရ၊ ရှမ္မနှင့်မိဇ္ဇ အနွယ်တို့၏ဘိုးဘေးဖြစ်လာ၏။
38 And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
၃၈ဧဒုံပြည်တွင်မူလနေထိုင်ကြသူများသည် အောက်ဖော်ပြပါစိရ၏သားများဖြစ်ကြ သောလောတန်၊ ရှောဗလ၊ ဇိဘောင်၊ အာန၊ ဒိရှုန်၊ ဧဇာနှင့်ဒိရှန်တို့မှဆင်းသက်လာသူများ ဖြစ်ပေသည်။ လောတန်သည်ဟောရိနှင့်ဟေမံသားချင်းတို့၏ ဘိုးဘေးဖြစ်၏။ (လောတန်တွင်တိမနနာမည် တွင်သောနှမတစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။) ရှောဗလသည် အာလာဝန်၊ မနာဟတ်၊ ဧဗာလ၊ ရှေဖောနှင့်သြနံသားချင်းစုတို့၏ဘိုးဘေး ဖြစ်၏။ ဇိဘောင်မှာအာယနှင့်အာနနာမည်တွင်သော သားနှစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။ အာန၏သားသည်ဒိရှုန်ဖြစ်၏။ ဒိရှုန်သည် ဟင်္ဒန်၊ ဧရှဗန်၊ ဣသရန်နှင့်ခေရန် သားချင်းစုတို့၏ဘိုးဘေးဖြစ်၏။ ဧဇာသည်ဗိလဟန်၊ ဇာဝန်နှင့်အာကန်သား ချင်းစုတို့၏ဘိုးဘေးဖြစ်၏။ ဒိရှန်သည်ဥဇနှင့်အာရန်သားချင်းစုတို့၏ ဘိုးဘေးဖြစ်၏။
39 — And the sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam. And Lotan's sister, Timna.

40 — The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi and Onam. — And the sons of Zibeon: Ajah and Anah.

41 — The sons of Anah: Dishon. — And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Jithran, and Cheran.
၄၁
42 — The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, [and] Jaakan. — The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
၄၂
43 And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before there reigned a king over the children of Israel: — Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
၄၃ဣသရေလနိုင်ငံတွင်ဘုရင်တစ်ပါးမျှမပေါ် ပေါက်မီကာလ၌ ဧဒုံပြည်ကိုအောက်ပါဘုရင် များအုပ်စိုးကြလေသည်။ ဗောရ၏သားဖြစ်သူ၊ဒိန္နာဗာမြို့သားဗေလ၊ ဇေရ၏သားဖြစ်သူ၊ဗောဇရအရပ်သားယောဗပ်၊ တေမာနိအရပ်သားဟုရှံ၊ဗေဒဒ်၏သားဟာဒဒ်၊ သူ၏မြို့မှာအာဗိတ်မြို့ဖြစ်သည်။ (သူသည်မောဘလွင်ပြင်တိုက်ပွဲတွင် မိဒျန်အမျိုးသားတို့ကိုနှိမ်နင်းခဲ့သည်။) မာသရက်အရပ်သားစာမလ၊ရဟောဘုတ် မြစ်အနီးမှရှောလ၊ အာခဗော်၏သားဗာလဟာနန်၊ပေါမြို့မှဟာဒါ၊ (သူ၏မိဖုရားကားမဟေတဗေလဖြစ်၏။ မဟေတဗေလသည်မာတရေဒ၏သမီး၊ မေဇဟပ်၏မြေးဖြစ်သတည်း။)
44 And Bela died; and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

45 And Jobab died; and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
၄၅
46 And Husham died; and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the fields of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

47 And Hadad died; and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
၄၇
48 And Samlah died; and Saul of Rehoboth on the river reigned in his stead.
၄၈
49 And Saul died; and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
၄၉
50 And Baal-hanan died; and Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.

51 And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,
၅၁ဧဒုံပြည်သူများတွင်ပါဝင်ကြသောအနွယ် များမှာ တိမနာ၊ အာလဝ၊ ယေသက်၊-
52 chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
၅၂အဟောလိဗာမ၊ ဧလာ၊ ပိနုန်၊- ကေနတ်၊ တေမန်၊ မိဗဇ၊-မာဂဒေလနှင့်ဣရံတို့ဖြစ်သတည်း။
53 chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,

54 chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
