1 Chronicles 4
1 The sons of Judah: Pherez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.
| بني يهودا: فارَص و حَصرُون و کَرمي و حور و شوبال. | ۱ |
2 And Reaiah the son of Shobal begot Jahath; and Jahath begot Ahumai and Lahad. These are the families of the Zoreathites.
| و رَآيا ابن شوبال يحَت را آورد و يحَت اَخُوماي و لاهَد را آورد. اينانند قبايل صَرعاتيان. | ۲ |
3 And these [were of] the father of Etam: Jizreel, and Jishma, and Jidbash; and the name of their sister was Hazlelponi;
| و اينان پسران پدر عيطام اند: يزرَعيل و يشما و يدباش و اسم خواهر ايشان هَصلَلفُوني بود. | ۳ |
4 and Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah: these were the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah, [and] father of Bethlehem.
| فَنُوئيل پدر جَدُور و عازَر پدر خُوشَه اينها پسران حور نخست زاده اَفراته پدر بيت لحم بودند. | ۴ |
5 — And Ashhur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.
| و اَشحُور پدر تَقّوع دو زن داشت: حَلا و نَعرَه. | ۵ |
6 And Naarah bore him Ahuzzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Ahashtari: these were the sons of Naarah.
| و نَعرَه، اَخُزّام و حافَر و تَيماني و اَخَشطاري را براي او زاييد؛ اينان پسران نَعرَه اند. | ۶ |
7 And the sons of Helah: Zereth, and Zohar, and Ethnan.
| و پسران حَلا: صَرَت و صُوحَر و اَتنان. | ۷ |
8 And Koz begot Anub, and Hazzobebah, and the families of Aharhel the son of Harum.
| و قُوس عانوب و صُوبِيبَه و قبايل اَخَرحيل بن هارُم را آورد. | ۸ |
9 And Jabez was more honoured than his brethren; and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bore him with pain.
| و يعبِيص از برادران خود شريف تر بود و مادرش او را يعبِيص نام نهاد و گفت: « از اين جهت که او را با حُزن زاييدم.» | ۹ |
10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, Oh that thou wouldest richly bless me, and enlarge my border, and that thy hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God brought about what he had requested.
| و يبِيص از خداي اسرائيل استدعا نموده گفت: « کاش که مرا برکت مي دادي و حدود مرا وسيع ميگردانيدي و دست تو با من مي بود و مرا از بلا نگاه مي داشتي تا محزون نشوم.» و خدا آنچه را که خواست به او بخشيد. | ۱۰ |
11 And Chelub the brother of Shuah begot Mehir, who was the father of Eshton.
| وکَلوب برادر شُوحَه مَحِير را که پدر اَشتون باشد آورد. | ۱۱ |
12 And Eshton begot Bethrapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of the city of Nahash: these were the men of Rechah.
| و اَشتون بيت رافا و فاسيح تَحِنّه پدر عِير ناحاش را آورد. اينان اهل ريقَه مي باشد. | ۱۲ |
13 — And the sons of Kenaz: Othniel and Seraiah; and the sons of Othniel: Hathath.
| و پسران قَناز و عُتنِيئِيل و سَرايا بودند؛ و پسر عُتنيئيل حَتَات. | ۱۳ |
14 And Meonothai begot Ophrah: and Seraiah begot Joab, the father of the valley of craftsmen; for they were craftsmen.
| و مَعُونُوتاي عُفرَه را آورد و سَرايا، يوآب پدرجيحَراشيم را آورد، زيرا که صنعتگر بودند. | ۱۴ |
15 — And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh: Iru, Elah, and Naam; and the sons of Elah, ...and Kenaz.
| و پسران کاليب بن يفُنَّه، عيرُو و اِيلَه و ناعَم بودند؛ و پسر اِيلَه قَناز بود. | ۱۵ |
16 — And the sons of Jehalleleel: Ziph and Ziphah, Tiria and Asareel.
| و پسران يهلَلئيل، زيف و زيفَه و تِيريا و اَسَرئيل. | ۱۶ |
17 — And the sons of Ezra: Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon; and she conceived [and bore] Miriam, and Shammai, and Jishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
| و پسران عَزرَه يتَر و مَرَد و عافَر و يالون(و زنِ مَرَد) مريم و شَماي و يشبَح پدر اَشتَمُوع را زاييد. | ۱۷ |
18 And his wife the Jewess bore Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. And these are the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh whom Mered took.
| و زن يهوديه او يارَد، پدر جَدُور، و جابَر پدر سُوکُو و يقوتيئيل پدر زانوح را زاييد. اما آنان پسران بِتيه دختر فرعون که مَرَد او را به زني گرفته بود مي باشند. | ۱۸ |
19 — And the sons of the wife of Hodijah, the sister of Naham: the father of Keilah the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.
| و پسران زن يهوديه او که خواهر نَحَم بود پدر قَعيلَه جَرمي و اَشتَمُوع مَعکاتي بودند. | ۱۹ |
20 — And the sons of Shimon: Amnon and Rinnah, Ben-hanan and Tilon. — And the sons of Jishi: Zoheth and Ben-Zoheth.
| وپسران شيمون: اَمنون وَرِنَّه و بِنحانان وتيلون و پسران يشعِي زُنزُوحيت. | ۲۰ |
21 The sons of Shelah the son of Judah: Er the father of Lechah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of byssus-workers, of the house of Ashbea,
| و بني شيلَه بن يهودا، عير پدر ليکَه، و لَعدَه پدر مَريشَه و قبايل خاندان عاملان کتان نازک از خانواده اَشبيع بودند. | ۲۱ |
22 and Jokim, and the men of Chozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who ruled over Moab, and Jashubi-lehem. And these are ancient things.
| و يوقيم و اهل کُوزِيبا و يوآش و ساراف که در موآب مِلک داشتند، و يشُوبي لَحمَ؛ و اين وقايع قديم است. | ۲۲ |
23 These were the potters, and those that abode among plantations and enclosures: there they dwelt with the king for his work.
| و اينان کوزه گر بودند با ساکنان نتاعيم و جَديره که در آنجاها نزد پادشاه به جهت کار او سکونت داشتند. | ۲۳ |
24 The sons of Simeon: Nemuel and Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, [and] Saul;
| پسران شَمعون: نمُوئيل و يامين و ياريب و زارَح و شاؤل. | ۲۴ |
25 Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.
| و پسرش شَلّوُم و پسرش مِبسام و پسرش مِشماع. | ۲۵ |
26 And the sons of Mishma: Hammuel his son, Zaccur his son, Shimei his son;
| و بني مِشماع پسرش حموُئيل و پسرش زَکُّور و پسران شِمعي. | ۲۶ |
27 and Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters. And his brethren had not many sons; neither did all their family multiply like to the sons of Judah.
| و شِمعي را شانزده پسر و شش دختر بود ولکن برادرانش را پسران بسيار نبود و همه قبايل ايشان مثل بني يهودا زياد نشدند. | ۲۷ |
28 And they abode at Beer-sheba, and Moladah, and Hazar-Shual,
| و ايشان در بئرشَبَع و مُولادَه و حَصَر شُوآل، | ۲۸ |
29 and at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,
| و در بِلهَه و عاصَم و تولاد، | ۲۹ |
30 and at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,
| و در بَتوئيل و حَرمُه و صِقلَغ | ۳۰ |
31 and at Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susim, and at Beth-biri, and at Shaaraim. These were their cities until the reign of David.
| و دربيت مرکَبوت و حَصرسُوسيم و بيت بِرئِي و شَعَرايم ساکن بودند. اينها شهرهاي ايشان تا زمان سلطنت داود بود. | ۳۱ |
32 And their villages were Etam and Ain, Rimmon and Tochen, and Ashan, five cities;
| و قريه هاي ايشان عيطام عين و رِمُّون و تُوکَن و عاشان، يعني پنج قريه بود، | ۳۲ |
33 and all their villages that were round about these cities, as far as Baal. These were their habitations and their genealogical register.
| و جميع قريه هاي ايشان که در پيرامون آن شهرها تابَعل بود. پس مسکنهاي ايشان اين است و نسب نامه هاي خود را داشتند. | ۳۳ |
34 And Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah the son of Amaziah,
| و مَشوبات و يمليک و يوشَه بن اَمصيا، | ۳۴ |
35 and Joel, and Jehu the son of Josibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel,
| يوئيل و ييهُو ابن يوشِبيا ابن سَرايا ابن عَسِيئيل، | ۳۵ |
36 and Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah,
| و اَليوعيناي و يعکوبَه و يشوحايا وعَسايا و عِديئيل و يسيميئيل و بنايا، | ۳۶ |
37 and Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah:
| و زيزا ابن شِفعِي ابن اِلّوُن بن يدايا ابن شِمري ابن شَمَعيا، | ۳۷ |
38 these mentioned by name were princes in their families; and their fathers' houses increased greatly.
| ايناني که اسم ايشان مذکور شد، در قبايل خود رؤسا بودند و خانه هاي آباي ايشان بسيار زياد شد. | ۳۸ |
39 And they went to the entrance of Gedor, as far as the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.
| و به مدخل جَدُورتا طرف شرقي وادي رفتند تا براي گله هاي خويش چراگاه بجويند. | ۳۹ |
40 And they found fat and good pasture, and a land widely extended and quiet and fertile, for they who had dwelt there formerly were of Ham.
| پس برومند نيکو يافتند و آن زمين وسيع و آرام و امين بود، زيرا که آلِ حام در زمان قديم در آنجا ساکن بودند. | ۴۰ |
41 And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them utterly unto this day, and dwelt in their stead; for there was pasture there for their flocks.
| و ايناني که اسم ايشان مذکور شد، در ايام حِزقيا پادشاه يهودا آمدند و خيمه هاي ايشان و معونيان را که در آنجا يافت شدند، شکست دادند و ايشان را تا به امروز تباه ساخته، در جاي ايشان ساکن شده اند زيرا که مرتع براي گله هاي ايشان در انجا بود. | ۴۱ |
42 And five hundred men of them, of the sons of Simeon, went to mount Seir, having at their head Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Jishi,
| و بعضي از ايشان، يعني پانصد نفر از بني شَمعُون به کوه سَعير رفتند؛ و فَلطِيا و نَعرِيا و رَفايا و عُرِّيئيل پسران يشيع رؤساي ايشان بودند. | ۴۲ |
43 and they smote the rest of the Amalekites that had escaped; and they dwelt there unto this day.
| و بقيه عَمالَقَه را که فرار کرده بودند، شکست داده، تا امروز در آنجا ساکن شده اند. | ۴۳ |
