< 1 Chronicles 27 >

1 And [these] are the children of Israel after their number, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in every matter of the divisions, which came in and went out month by month throughout the months of the year; in every division were twenty-four thousand.

2 Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
Naʻe pule ki he ʻuluaki lakanga ʻi he ʻuluaki māhina ʻa Sasopeami ko e foha ʻo Sapitieli: pea ʻi hono lakanga ʻoʻona naʻe ai ʻae toko ua mano mo e fā afe.
3 He was of the children of Pherez, the head of all the captains of the hosts for the first month.
Naʻe ʻoe fānau ʻa Pelesi ia pea ko e ʻeiki lahi ia ki he ngaahi ʻeiki pule kotoa pē ʻoe kautau ʻi he ʻuluaki māhina.
4 And over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite; and in his division was Mikloth ruler; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
Pea naʻe pule ki he lakanga ʻi hono ua ʻoe māhina ʻa Totei ko e tangata ʻAhoia, pea naʻe pule foki ki hono lakanga ʻoʻona ʻa Mikiloti: pea naʻe ʻi hono lakanga ʻoʻona foki ʻae toko ua mano mo e fā afe.
5 The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah (the son of Jehoiada, a principal officer): [he was] head; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
Ko hono toko tolu ʻoe ʻeiki pule ʻoe kautau ki hono tolu ʻoe māhina, ko Penaia ko e foha ʻo Sihoiata, ko e tangata naʻe ʻeiki: pea naʻe ʻi hono lakanga ʻoʻona ʻae toko ua mano mo e fā afe.
6 This Benaiah was a mighty man among the thirty, and above the thirty; and in his division was Ammizabad his son.
Ko eni ia ʻae Penaia ʻaia naʻe toʻa lahi ʻi he “Toko Tolungofulu,” pea ʻeiki hake ʻi he “Toko Tolungofulu:” pea naʻe ʻi hono lakanga ʻoʻona ʻa hono foha ko ʻAmisapati.
7 The fourth for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
Ko hono toko fā ki hono fā ʻoe māhina, ko ʻAsaeli ko e tokoua ʻo Soape, mo Sepatia ko hono foha naʻe hoko mo ia: pea naʻe ʻi hono lakanga ʻoʻona ʻae toko ua mano mo e fā afe.
8 The fifth for the fifth month was the captain Shamhuth the Jizrahite; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
Pea ko hono toko nima ʻoe ʻeiki ki hono nima ʻoe māhina, ko Samuti ko e tangata Isila: pea naʻe ʻi hono lakanga ʻoʻona ʻae toko ua mano mo e fā afe.
9 The sixth for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
Pea ko hono toko ono ki hono ono ʻoe māhina, ko Ila ko e foha ʻo Ikesi ko e tangata Tikoa: pea naʻe ʻi hono lakanga ʻoʻona ʻae toko ua mano mo e fā afe.
10 The seventh for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
Pea ko hono toko fitu ki hono fitu ʻoe māhina, ko Helesi ko e tangata Piloni mei he fānau ʻa ʻIfalemi: pea naʻe ʻi hono lakanga ʻoʻona ʻae toko ua mano mo e fā afe.
11 The eighth for the eighth month was Sibbechai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
Ko hono toko valu ki hono valu ʻoe māhina, ko Sipikei ko e tangata Husa, mei he kakai Sela: pea naʻe ʻi hono lakanga ʻoʻona ʻae toko ua mano mo e fā afe.
12 The ninth for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjaminites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
Ko hono toko hiva ki hono hiva ʻoe māhina, ko ʻApiesa ko e tangata ʻAnitoti, ʻoe kakai Penisimani: pea naʻe ʻi hono lakanga ʻoʻona ʻae toko ua mano mo e fā afe.
13 The tenth for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
Ko hono toko hongofulu ki hono hongofulu ʻoe māhina, ko Mehelei ko e tangata Nitofa, ʻoe kakai Sela: pea naʻe ʻi hono lakanga ʻoʻona ʻae toko ua mano mo e fā afe.
14 The eleventh for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

15 The twelfth for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
Ko hono toko hongofulu ma ua ki hono hongofulu ma ua ʻoe māhina ko ʻElitai ko e tangata Nitofa, ʻoe kakai Otinili: pea naʻe ʻi hono lakanga ʻoʻona ʻae toko ua mano mo e fā afe.
16 And over the tribes of Israel were: for the Reubenites Eliezer the son of Zichri was the prince; for the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah;

17 for the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel; for Aaron, Zadok;

18 for Judah, Elihu of the brethren of David; for Issachar, Omri the son of Michael;
‌ʻOe faʻahinga ʻo Siuta, ʻa Elihu ko e kāinga ʻo Tevita: ē faʻahinga ʻo ʻIsaka, ʻa Omili ko e foha ʻo Mikaeli:
19 for Zebulun, Jishmaiah the son of Obadiah; for Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel;
‌ʻOe faʻahinga ʻo Sepuloni, ʻa Isimaia ko e foha ʻo ʻOpataia: ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo Nafitali, ʻa Selimoti ko e foha ʻo ʻAsilieli:
20 for the children of Ephraim, Hosea the son of Azaziah; for the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah;
‌ʻOe fānau ʻa ʻIfalem, ko Hosea ko e foha ʻo ʻAsasia: ʻoe vahe ua ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo Manase, ʻa Soeli ko e foha ʻo Pitaia:
21 for the half [tribe] of Manasseh in Gilead, Jiddo the son of Zechariah; for Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner;
‌ʻOe vahe ua ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo Manase ʻaia naʻe nofo ʻi Kiliati, ko Ito ko e foha ʻo Sakalia: ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo Penisimani, ʻa Seesieli ko e foha ʻo ʻApina:
22 for Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
‌ʻOe faʻahinga ʻo Tani, ʻa Esalili ko e foha ʻo Silohami. Ko kinautolu eni naʻe ʻeiki hake ʻi he ngaahi faʻahinga ʻo ʻIsileli.
23 And David took not their number from twenty years old and under; for Jehovah had said he would increase Israel as the stars of heaven.
Ka naʻe ʻikai ke lau ʻe Tevita ʻae kakai mei hono uofulu taʻu ʻo ʻenau motuʻa ʻo fai hifo: he koeʻuhi naʻe pehē ʻe Sihova ke ne fakatokolahi ʻa ʻIsileli ke hangē ko e ngaahi fetuʻu ʻoe langi.
24 Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he did not finish; and there fell wrath for it upon Israel; and the number was not put in the account of the chronicles of king David.

25 And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel; and over the storehouses in the country, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the towers was Jonathan the son of Uzziah.
Pea naʻe pule ʻa ʻAsimaveti ko e foha ʻo ʻAtieli ki he ngaahi koloa ʻae tuʻi: pea naʻe pule ʻa Sihonatani ko e foha ʻo ʻUsia ki he ngaahi feleoko ʻi he ngaahi tokangangoue, pea ʻi he ngaahi kolo, pea ʻi he ngaahi potu kakai siʻi, pea ʻi he ngaahi fale tau:
26 And over them that worked in the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub.
Pea naʻe pule ʻa Eseli ko e foha Kilupi kiate kinautolu naʻe ngāue ʻi he tō ngoue ʻi he ngaahi tokangangoue:
27 And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite; and over what was in the vineyards of stores of wine was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
Pea naʻe pule ki he ngaahi ngoue vaine ʻa Simi ko e tangata Lama: pea naʻe pule ki he fua ʻoe ngaahi ngoue vaine ʻaia naʻe tuku ki he ngaohi ʻoe uaine, ʻa Sapiti ko e tangata Safani:
28 and over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowland was Baal-hanan the Gederite; and over the cellars of oil was Joash.
Pea naʻe pule ʻa Peali-Hanani ko e tangata Kiteli, ki he ngaahi ʻakau ko e ʻolive mo e ngaahi ʻakau ko e Sukamino, ʻaia naʻe tupu ʻi he ngaahi potu tokalelei: pea naʻe pule ʻa Soasi ki he ngaahi fale tukunga lolo.
29 And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite; and over the herds in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.
Pea naʻe pule ʻa Sitilei ko e tangata Saloni, ki he fanga manu naʻe fafangaʻi ʻi Saloni: pea naʻe pule ʻa Safati ko e foha ʻo ʻAtilai ki he fanga manu naʻe fafangaʻi ʻi he ngaahi potu talalo:
30 And over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite; and over the asses was Jehdiah the Meronothite.
Naʻe pule foki ʻa Opili ko e tangata ʻIsimeʻeli ki he fanga kāmeli: pea naʻe pule ki he fanga ʻasi ʻa Setia ko e tangata Melonoti:
31 And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagarite. All these were comptrollers of the substance which was king David's.
Pea naʻe pule ki he fanga sipi ʻa Sasisi ko e tangata Hekaʻā. Ko kinautolu kotoa pē eni naʻe pule ki he koloa kotoa pē naʻe ʻo Tevita ko e tuʻi.
32 And Jonathan, David's uncle, was counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe; and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons;
Pea ko Sonatane foki ko e tuʻasina ʻa Tevita, ko e tangata fai fakakaukau, mo poto lahi ia, pea ko e tangata tohi pea naʻe nofo ʻa Sehieli ko e foha ʻo Hikimoni fakataha mo e ngaahi foha ʻoe tuʻi:
33 and Ahithophel was the king's counsellor; and Hushai the Archite was the king's friend;
Pea ko ʻAhitofeli ko ia ia naʻe fai fakakaukau maʻae tuʻi: pea ko e takanga ʻoe tuʻi ko Husai ko e tangata ʻAliki:
34 and after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar; and Joab was captain of the king's army.
Pea naʻe hoko mo ʻAhitofeli ʻa Sihoiata, ko e foha ʻo Penaia, mo ʻApiata: pea ko Soape ko e pule lahi ia ki he kautau ʻoe tuʻi.
