1 Chronicles 26
1 The divisions of the doorkeepers. Of the Korahites: Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
He aquí las clases de los porteros: De los coreítas, Meselemías, hijo de Coré, de los hijos de Asaf.
2 And Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
Meselemías tuvo por hijos: Zacarías, el primogénito; Jediael el segundo; Zebadías, el tercero; Jatniel, el cuarto;
3 Elam the fifth, Johanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.
Elam, el quinto; Johanán, el sexto; Elioenai, el séptimo.
4 — And the sons of Obed-Edom: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,
Hijos de Obededom: Semeías, el primogénito; Josabad, el segundo; Joah, el tercero; Sacar, el cuarto; Nataniel, el quinto;
5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God had blessed him.
Amiel, el sexto; Isacar, el séptimo; Peulletai, el octavo; porque Dios le había bendecido.
6 And to Shemaiah his son were sons born, who were rulers in their father's house; for they were mighty men of valour.
A Semeías, su hijo, le nacieron hijos, que eran jefes en la casa de su padre; porque eran hombres valerosos.
7 The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, [and] Elzabad, whose brethren were valiant men, Elihu and Semachiah.
Hijos de Semeías: Otní, Rafael, Obed, Elsabad y sus hermanos, hombres valerosos, Eliú y Samaquías.
8 All these were of the sons of Obed-Edom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men in strength for the service, were sixty-two of Obed-Edom.
Todos estos eran de los hijos de Obededom; ellos y sus hijos y sus hermanos eran hombres valerosos y robustos para el ministerio: sesenta y dos de los hijos de Obededom.
9 — And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, men of valour, eighteen.
Meselemías tuvo diez y ocho hijos y hermanos, hombres valerosos.
10 — And Hosah, of the sons of Merari, had sons: Shimri the head, for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the head;
Hosá, de los hijos de Merarí, tuvo estos hijos: Simrí, el jefe —aunque no era el primogénito, su padre le había puesto por jefe—;
11 Hilkijah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.
Helcías, el segundo; Tabalías, el tercero; Zacarías, el cuarto. Todos los hijos y los hermanos de Hosá eran trece.
12 Among these were the divisions of the doorkeepers, among the head-men, as to the charges together with their brethren, for performing the service in the house of Jehovah.
Estas clases de los porteros, los jefes de estos hombres, lo mismo que sus hermanos, estaban encargados de funciones en la guardia de la Casa de Yahvé.
13 And they cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to their fathers' houses, for every gate.
Echaron suertes para cada puerta, sobre pequeños y grandes, con arreglo a sus casas paternas;
14 And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah; and they cast lots for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, and his lot came out northward;
y cayó la suerte para la puerta oriental sobre Selemías. Después echaron suertes para Zacarías, su hijo, que era un prudente consejero, y le tocó por suerte el norte.
15 to Obed-Edom southward; and to his sons the storehouse.
Asimismo a Obededom, el sur; y a sus hijos, la casa de los almacenes;
16 To Shuppim and Hosah westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the ascent, watch against watch.
a Supim y Hosá, el occidente, con la puerta de Salléquet, en el camino de la subida, correspondiendo una guardia a la otra.
17 Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and in the storehouse two [and] two.
Al oriente había seis levitas, al norte, de día cuatro; al sur, de día cuatro; y para los almacenes, (cuatro) de dos en dos.
18 At the portico westward, four at the causeway, two at the portico.
Para las dependencias, al occidente, cuatro para la subida, y dos para las dependencias.
19 These are the divisions of the doorkeepers among the sons of the Korahites and among the sons of Merari.
Estos son las clases de los porteros, de los hijos de los coreítas y de los hijos de Merarí.
20 And the Levites: Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
Los levitas, sus hermanos, custodiaban los tesoros de la Casa de Dios, y los tesoros de las cosas sagradas.
21 The sons of Laadan, the sons of the Gershonites of Laadan, chief fathers of Laadan the Gershonite: Jehieli;
Los hijos de Ladán, descendientes de Gersón (es decir), los gersonitas, las cabezas de las casas paternas de Ladán gersonita, eran los Jehielitas,
22 the sons of Jehieli: Zetham, and Joel his brother, over the treasures of the house of Jehovah.
o sea, los hijos de Jehieli, Zetam y Joel, su hermano. Estos tenían la guarda de los tesoros de la Casa de Yahvé.
23 As to the Amramites, the Jizharites, the Hebronites, the Uzzielites....
De entre los Amramitas, Isharitas, Hebronitas y Ucielitas,
24 And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was overseer of the treasures.
Sebuel, hijo de Gersón, hijo de Moisés, era tesorero mayor.
25 And his brethren, of Eliezer: Rehabiah his son, and Isaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.
Y sus hermanos, descendientes de Eliéser —hijo de este fue Rehabías, hijo de este Isaías, hijo de este Joram, hijo de este Zicrí, hijo de este Selomit—;
26 This Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which king David, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated
este Selomit y sus hermanos tenían la guarda de todos los tesoros de las cosas sagradas que habían consagrado el rey David, los jefes de las casas paternas, los jefes de miles y de cientos, y los jefes del ejército.
27 (from the wars and out of the spoils had they dedicated [them], to maintain the house of Jehovah),
Las habían consagrado del botín de guerra y de los despojos para el mantenimiento de la Casa de Yahvé.
28 and all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah had dedicated: all that was dedicated was under the hand of Shelomith and of his brethren.
Todo lo que habían consagrado el vidente Samuel, Saúl, hijo de Cis, Abner, hijo de Ner, y Joab, hijo de Sarvia; todo lo consagrado por cualquier persona, estaba bajo Selomit y sus hermanos.
29 Of the Jizharites, Chenaniah and his sons were over Israel, for the outward business for officers and judges.
De entre los Isharitas, Conenías y sus hijos (administraban) como magistrados y jueces los negocios exteriores de Israel.
30 Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, for the administration of Israel on this side Jordan westward, for all the business of Jehovah, and for the service of the king.
De entre los Hebronitas, Hasabías y sus hermanos, hombres de valer, en número de mil setecientos, tenían la inspección de los israelitas de la otra parte del Jordán, al occidente, tanto en todos los asuntos de Yahvé, como en los negocios del rey.
31 Of the Hebronites was Jerijah the head; (as to the Hebronites, according to their families according to the fathers: in the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jaazer in Gilead; )
De los Hebronitas era jefe Jerías. Acerca de los Hebronitas, en cuanto a sus linajes, según sus casas paternas, se hicieron investigaciones en el año cuarenta del reinado de David, y se hallaron entre ellos hombres de valía en Jazer de Galaad.
32 and his brethren, men of valour, two thousand seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God, and the affairs of the king.
Sus hermanos, hombres valerosos, jefes de familias en número de dos mil setecientos, fueron constituidos por el rey David sobre los Rubenitas, los Gaditas y la media tribu de Manasés, en todos los asuntos de Dios y en todos los negocios del rey.
