1 Chronicles 24
1 And the divisions of the sons of Aaron: the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
Ebibinja eby’abazzukulu ba Alooni nga bwe bagabanyizibwamu byali bwe biti: Batabani ba Alooni baali Nadabu, ne Abiku, ne Eriyazaali ne Isamaali.
2 And Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children; and Eleazar and Ithamar exercised the priesthood.
Naye Nadabu ne Abiku baasooka kitaabwe okufa, ate nga baafa tebazzadde baana. Eriyazaali ne Isamaali kyebaava baawulibwa era ne batandika okukola omulimu ogw’obwakabona.
3 And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their office in their service.
Dawudi ng’ayambibwako Zadooki muzzukulu wa Eriyazaali, ne Akimereki muzzukulu wa Isamaali, yabaawulamu ebibinja nga bwe baalondebwa mu kuweereza kwabwe.
4 And there were more head-men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar, and [thus] were they divided: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen heads of fathers' houses, and eight of the sons of Ithamar according to their fathers' houses.

5 And they were divided by lot, one with another; for the princes of the sanctuary and the princes of God were of the sons of Eleazar and of the sons of Ithamar.
Baabagabanyamu nga bakubye obululu, kubanga waaliwo abakungu abamu nga ba mu kifo ekitukuvu, n’abalala nga bakungu ba Katonda naye nga bonna bazzukulu ba Eriyazaali ne Isamaali.
6 And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, [one] of the Levites, inscribed them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the chief fathers of the priests and Levites: one father's house was drawn for Eleazar, and one drawn for Ithamar.

7 And the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, the second for Jedaiah,

8 the third for Harim, the fourth for Seorim,
n’akokusatu ku Kalimu, n’akokuna ku Seyolimu,
9 the fifth for Malchijah, the sixth for Mijamin,
n’akookutaano ku Malukiya, n’ak’omukaaga ku Miyamini,
10 the seventh for Hakkoz, the eighth for Abijah,
n’ak’omusanvu ku Kakkozi, n’ak’omunaana ku Abiya,
11 the ninth for Jeshuah, the tenth for Shecaniah,
n’ak’omwenda ku Yesuwa, n’ak’ekkumi ku Sekaniya,
12 the eleventh for Eliashib, the twelfth for Jakim,
n’ak’ekkumi n’akamu ku Eriyasibu, n’ak’ekkumi noobubiri ku Yakimu,
13 the thirteenth for Huppah, the fourteenth for Jeshebeab,
n’ak’ekkumi noobusatu ku Kuppa, n’ak’ekkumi noobuna ku Yesebeyabu,
14 the fifteenth for Bilgah, the sixteenth for Immer,
ak’ekkumi noobutaano ku Biruga, n’ak’ekkumi n’omukaaga ku Immeri,
15 the seventeenth for Hezir, the eighteenth for Happizez,
n’ak’ekkumi n’omusanvu ku Keziri, n’ak’ekkumi n’omunaana ku Kapizzezi,
16 the nineteenth for Pethahiah, the twentieth for Ezekiel,
n’ak’ekkumi n’omwenda ku Pesakiya, n’ak’amakumi abiri ku Yekezukeri,
17 the twenty-first for Jachin, the twenty-second for Gamul,
ak’amakumi abiri mu kamu ku Yakini, n’ak’amakumi abiri mu bubiri ku Gamuli,
18 the twenty-third for Delaiah, the twenty-fourth for Maaziah.
n’ak’amakumi abiri mu busatu ku Deraya, n’ak’amakumi abiri mu buna ku Maaziya.
19 This is their ordering in their service to come into the house of Jehovah, according to their ordinance, through Aaron their father, as Jehovah the God of Israel had commanded him.

20 And as for the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
Bazzukulu ba Leevi abalala baali: okuva mu batabani ba Amulaamu, yali Subayeri; okuva mu batabani ba Subayeri yali Yedeya.
21 Of Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the head was Jishijah.
Ku ba Lekabiya, Issiya ye yali omuggulanda.
22 Of the Jizharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.
Ku Bayizukaali Seromosi, ate ku batabani ba Seromosi yali Yakasi.
23 — And the sons [of Hebron]: Jerijah [the head], Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
Ku batabani ba Kebbulooni, Yeriya ye yali omukulu, Amaliya nga ye wookubiri, Yakaziyeri nga ye wookusatu, ne Yekameyamu nga ye wookuna.
24 The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir;
Mutabani wa Winziyeeri, ye yali Mikka; ne ku batabani ba Mikka, ne Samiri.
25 the brother of Micah was Jishijah; of the sons of Jishijah, Zechariah.
Muganda wa Mikka ye yali Issiya, ne ku batabani ba Issiya, Zekkaliya.
26 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; the sons of Jaaziah, his son.
Batabani ba Merali baali Makuli ne Musi. Mutabani wa Yaaziya ye yali Beno.
27 The sons of Merari by Jaaziah his son: Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
Batabani ba Merali, mu Yaaziya: Beno, ne Sokamu, ne Zakkuli, ne Ibuli.
28 Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
Okuva ku Makuli, Eriyazaali, ataazaala baana babulenzi.
29 Of Kish, the sons of Kish: Jerahmeel.
Okuva ku Kiisi, yali mutabani we Yerameeri.
30 And the sons of Mushi: Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.
Ne ku batabani ba Musi, Makuli, ne Ederi ne Yerimosi. Abo be baali Abaleevi, ng’ennyumba zaabwe bwe zaali.
31 These likewise cast lots just as their brethren the sons of Aaron before David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief fathers of the priests and Levites, — the chief fathers just as the youngest of their brethren.
Era ne bano bwe batyo ne bakuba obululu, nga baganda baabwe bazzukulu ba Alooni bwe baakola, mu maaso ga Kabaka Dawudi, ne Zadooki, ne Akimereki, n’abakulu b’ennyumba za bakabona n’Abaleevi. Ennyumba ya muganda waabwe omukulu yayisibwanga mu ngeri y’emu ng’ey’omuto.
