1 Chronicles 24
1 And the divisions of the sons of Aaron: the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
১হারোণের বংশের লোকদের বিভিন্ন দলে ভাগ করা হয়েছিল। হারোণের ছেলেরা হল নাদব, অবীহূ, ইলীয়াসর ও ঈথামর।
2 And Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children; and Eleazar and Ithamar exercised the priesthood.
২হারোণ মারা যাবার আগেই নাদব ও অবীহূ কোনো ছেলে না রেখেই মারা গিয়েছিলেন; কাজেই ইলীয়াসর ও ঈথামর যাজকের কাজ করতেন।
3 And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their office in their service.
৩সাদোক নামে ইলীয়াসরের একজন বংশধর এবং অহীমেলক নামে ঈথামরের একজন বংশধরের সাহায্যে দায়ূদ যাজকদের কাজ অনুসারে তাঁদের বিভিন্ন দলে ভাগ করে দিলেন।
4 And there were more head-men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar, and [thus] were they divided: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen heads of fathers' houses, and eight of the sons of Ithamar according to their fathers' houses.
৪এতে ঈথামরের বংশের লোকদের চেয়ে ইলীয়াসরের বংশের লোকদের মধ্যে অনেক বেশী নেতা পাওয়া গেল। সেইজন্য ইলীয়াসরের বংশের ষোলজন নেতার জন্য তাঁদের ষোল দলে এবং ইথামরের বংশের আটজন নেতার জন্য তাঁদের আট দলে ভাগ করা হল।
5 And they were divided by lot, one with another; for the princes of the sanctuary and the princes of God were of the sons of Eleazar and of the sons of Ithamar.
৫ইলীয়াসর ও ঈথামর, এই দুই বংশের নেতারা উপাসনা ঘরের ও ঈশ্বরের কর্মচারী ছিলেন বলে কারো পক্ষ না টেনে গুলিবাঁট করে যাজকদের কাজ ভাগ করা হল।
6 And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, [one] of the Levites, inscribed them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the chief fathers of the priests and Levites: one father's house was drawn for Eleazar, and one drawn for Ithamar.
৬রাজা ও তাঁর উঁচু পদের কর্মচারীদের সামনে এবং সাদোক যাজক, অবিয়াথরের ছেলে অহীমেলক, যাজক বংশের নেতাদের ও লেবীয়দের সামনে নথনেলের ছেলে শময়িয় নামে একজন লেবীয় লেখক সেই নেতাদের নাম তালিকায় লিখলেন। পালা পালা করে ইলীয়াসরের বিভিন্ন বংশের মধ্য থেকে একজন ও তারপর ঈথামরের বিভিন্ন বংশের মধ্য থেকে এক জনের জন্য গুলিবাঁট করা হল।
7 And the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, the second for Jedaiah,
৭তখন প্রথম বারে গুলি উঠল যিহোয়ারীবের নামে, দ্বিতীয় বারে যিদয়িয়ের,
8 the third for Harim, the fourth for Seorim,
৮তৃতীয় বারে হারীমের, চতুর্থ বারে সিয়োরীমের,
9 the fifth for Malchijah, the sixth for Mijamin,
৯পঞ্চম বারে মল্কিয়ের, ষষ্ঠ বারে মিয়ামীনের,
10 the seventh for Hakkoz, the eighth for Abijah,
১০সপ্তম বারে হক্কোষের, অষ্টম বারে অবিয়ের,
11 the ninth for Jeshuah, the tenth for Shecaniah,
১১নবম বারে যেশূয়ের, দশম বারে শখনিয়ের,
12 the eleventh for Eliashib, the twelfth for Jakim,
১২এগারো বারে ইলীয়াশীবের, বারো বারে যাকীমের,
13 the thirteenth for Huppah, the fourteenth for Jeshebeab,
১৩তেরো বারে হুপ্পের, চৌদ্দ বারে যেশবাবের,
14 the fifteenth for Bilgah, the sixteenth for Immer,
১৪পনেরো বারে বিল্গার, ষোল বারে ইম্মেরের,
15 the seventeenth for Hezir, the eighteenth for Happizez,
১৫সতেরো বারে হেষীরের, আঠারো বারে হপ্পিসেসের,
16 the nineteenth for Pethahiah, the twentieth for Ezekiel,
১৬ঊনিশ বারে পথাহিয়ের, কুড়ি বারে যিহিষ্কেলের,
17 the twenty-first for Jachin, the twenty-second for Gamul,
১৭একুশ বারে যাখীনের, বাইশ বারে গামূলের,
18 the twenty-third for Delaiah, the twenty-fourth for Maaziah.
১৮তেইশ বারে দলায়ের ও চব্বিশ বারে মাসিয়ের নামে।
19 This is their ordering in their service to come into the house of Jehovah, according to their ordinance, through Aaron their father, as Jehovah the God of Israel had commanded him.
১৯তাঁদের পূর্বপুরুষ হারোণকে দেওয়া ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর নির্দেশ অনুসারে হারোণ তাঁদের জন্য যে নিয়ম ঠিক করে দিয়েছিলেন সেইমত সদাপ্রভুর ঘরে গিয়ে সেবা কাজ করবার জন্য এই ভাবে তাঁদের পালা ঠিক করা হল।
20 And as for the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
২০লেবি গোষ্ঠীর বাকি বংশগুলোর কথা এই: অম্রামের বংশের শবূয়েল, শবূয়েলের বংশ নেতা যেহদিয়
21 Of Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the head was Jishijah.
২১রহবিয়ের কথা; রহবিয়ের বংশ নেতা যিশিয়।
22 Of the Jizharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.
২২যিষ্হরীয়দের বংশের বাবা শলোমোৎ ও শলোমোতের বংশ নেতা যহৎ।
23 — And the sons [of Hebron]: Jerijah [the head], Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
২৩হিব্রোণের বংশের মধ্যে প্রথম যিরিয়, দ্বিতীয় অমরিয়, তৃতীয় যহসীয়েল এবং চতুর্থ যিকমিয়াম ছিলেন বংশের বাবা।
24 The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir;
২৪ঊষীয়েলের ছেলে মীখা; মীখা ছেলেদের মধ্যে শামীর।
25 the brother of Micah was Jishijah; of the sons of Jishijah, Zechariah.
২৫মীখার ভাই যিশিয়; যিশিয়ের ছেলেদের মধ্যে সখরিয়।
26 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; the sons of Jaaziah, his son.
২৬মরারির ছেলে মহলি, মূশি ও যাসিয়; যাসিয়ের বংশের বিনো
27 The sons of Merari by Jaaziah his son: Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
২৭মরারির ছেলে যাসিয়ের ছেলে বিনো, শোহম, শক্কুর ও ইব্রি ছিলেন বংশের বাবা।
28 Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
২৮মহলির বংশের ইলীয়াসর ও কীশ; ইলীয়াসরের কোনো ছেলে ছিল না।
29 Of Kish, the sons of Kish: Jerahmeel.
২৯কীশের বংশ নেতা ছিলেন যিরহমেল।
30 And the sons of Mushi: Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.
৩০মূশির বংশের মহলি, এদর ও যিরেমোৎ ছিলেন বংশের বাবা। বিভিন্ন বংশ অনুসারে এঁরা ছিলেন লেবীয়।
31 These likewise cast lots just as their brethren the sons of Aaron before David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief fathers of the priests and Levites, — the chief fathers just as the youngest of their brethren.
৩১এঁরাও রাজা দায়ূদ, সাদোক, অহীমেলক এবং যাজক ও লেবীয়দের বংশ নেতাদের সামনে এঁদের ভাইদের, অর্থাৎ হারোণের বংশের লোকদের মত করে গুলিবাঁট করেছিলেন। বড় ভাই হোক বা ছোট ভাই হোক তাদের সকলের জন্য একইভাবে গুলিবাঁট করা হয়েছিল।
