1 Chronicles 11

1 And all Israel assembled themselves to David to Hebron, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.

১তাৰ পাছত গোটেই ইস্ৰায়েলৰ লোকসকলে হিব্ৰোণত দায়ূদৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি ক’লে, “চাওক, আমি আপোনাৰ মাংস আৰু আপোনাৰ হাড়।

2 Even aforetime, even when Saul was king, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel; and Jehovah thy God said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be prince over my people Israel.

২আগেয়ে যেতিয়া চৌল আমাৰ ওপৰত ৰজা আছিল, তেতিয়া আপুনিয়েই ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সৈন্যসকলক নেতৃত্ব দিছিল। আপোনাৰ ঈশ্ৱৰ যিহোৱাই আপোনাক কৈছিল, ‘তুমি মোৰ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ লোকসকলৰ ৰখীয়া হবা, আৰু তুমি মোৰ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ লোকসকলৰ ওপৰত শাসনকৰ্ত্তা হ’বা।’”

3 And all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before Jehovah; and they anointed David king over Israel according to the word of Jehovah through Samuel.

৩সেয়ে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সকলো বৃদ্ধ লোক হিব্ৰোণৰ ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল, আৰু দায়ূদে হিব্ৰোণত যিহোৱাৰ সাক্ষাতে তেওঁলোকৰ লগত এটি নিয়ম কৰিলে, যিহোৱাই চমূৱেলৰ দ্ৱাৰাই কোৱা বাক্য অনুসাৰে তেওঁলোকে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত দায়ূদক ৰজা অভিষেক কৰিলে।

4 And David and all Israel went to Jerusalem, which is Jebus; where the Jebusites were, the inhabitants of the land.

৪দায়ুদ আৰু সকলো ইস্ৰায়েলীয়া লোকসকলে যিৰূচালেমলৈ গ’ল সেই ঠাইয়ে যিবুচ। সেই সময়ত যিবুচ নিবাসী যিবুচীয়া লোকসকল সেই ঠাইত আছিল।

5 And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, Thou shalt not come in hither. But David took the stronghold of Zion, which is the city of David.

৫তাতে যিবুচ নিবাসী লোকসকলে দায়ূদক ক’লে, “আপুনি এই ঠাইত সোমাব নোৱাৰে।” কিন্তু দায়ূদে চিয়োন দুৰ্গ অধিকাৰ কৰি ল’লে, সেয়ে দায়ূদৰ নগৰ।

6 And David said, Whoever smites the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain. And Joab the son of Zeruiah went first up, and was chief.

৬দায়ূদে ক’লে, “যি কোনোৱে প্ৰথমে যিবুচীয়াসকলক আক্রমণ কৰিব, তেওঁ প্ৰধান সেনাপতি হ’ব।” চৰূয়াৰ পুত্ৰ যোৱাবে প্ৰথমে আক্ৰমণ কৰিলে, সেই বাবে তেওঁকে প্ৰধান সেনাপতি পাতিলে।

7 And David dwelt in the stronghold; therefore they called it the city of David.

৭তাৰ পাছত দায়ুদ সেই দুৰ্গত বাস কৰিলে। সেই বাবে তেওঁলোকে এই নগৰক ‘দায়ূদৰ নগৰ’ বুলি ক’লে।

8 And he built the city round about, even from the Millo round about; and Joab renewed the rest of the city.

৮তেওঁ মিল্লোৰ পৰা নগৰৰ চাৰিওফালে দেৱাল বান্ধিলে। যোৱাবে নগৰৰ অৱশিষ্ট ঠাইবোৰ মেৰামত কৰিলে।

9 And David became continually greater; and Jehovah of hosts was with him.

৯দায়ুদ মহানৰ পৰা মহান হ’ল, কাৰণ যিহোৱা, বাহিনীসকলৰ ঈশ্ৱৰ তেওঁৰ লগত আছিল।

10 And these are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who shewed themselves valiant with him in his kingdom, with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of Jehovah concerning Israel.

১০ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বিষয়ে যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য পালন কৰি, দায়ূদক ৰজা পাতিবলৈ, এওঁলোকেই দায়ূদৰ প্ৰধান লোক যি সকলে সকলো ইস্ৰায়েলৰ লগত একেগোট হৈ তেওঁৰ ৰাজ্যত নিজকে শক্তিশালী দেখুৱালে।

11 And this is the number of the mighty men whom David had: Jashobeam, the son of Hachmoni, the chief of the captains; he brandished his spear against three hundred, slain [by him] at one time.

১১এই খন এখন দায়ুদৰ শ্রেষ্ঠ সৈন্যসকলৰ তালিকা: হকমোনীয়াৰ পুত্ৰ যাচবিয়াম, তেওঁ ত্ৰিশ জনৰ ওপৰত প্ৰধান সেনাপতি আছিল, তেওঁ তিনি শ লোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যাঠীৰে তেওঁলোকক একে সময়তে বধ কৰিলে।

12 And after him, Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite; he was one of the three mighty men.

১২তেওঁৰ পাছত অহোহীয়া দোদয়ৰ পুত্ৰ ইলিয়াজ, তেওঁ আছিল তিনিজন পৰাক্ৰমী পুৰুষৰ মাজৰ এজন।

13 He was with David at Pas-dammim, where the Philistines were gathered together to battle; and there was [there] a plot of ground full of barley; and the people had fled from before the Philistines.

১৩তেওঁ পচদম্মীমত দায়ুদৰ লগত আছিল। যি ঠাই ডোখৰত যৱ ধান গুড়ি কৰিছিল, সেই পথাৰ খনত যুদ্ধৰ বাবে পলেষ্টীয়াসকলে গোট খালে; আৰু তাত পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ সন্মূখৰ পৰা সৈন্যসকল পলাইছিল।

14 And they stood in the midst of the plot and delivered it, and smote the Philistines; and Jehovah wrought a great deliverance.

১৪তেওঁলোকে পাছত সেই পথাৰৰ মাজত থিয় হৈ তাক ৰক্ষা কৰিলে, আৰু পলেষ্টীয়াসকলক তৰোৱালেৰে আঘাত কৰিলে। যিহোৱাই মহাজয়েৰে তেওঁলোকক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিলে।

15 And three of the thirty chiefs went down to the rock to David, to the cave of Adullam, when the army of the Philistines was encamped in the valley of Rephaim.

১৫ত্ৰিশ জন প্ৰধান লোকৰ মাজৰ তিনিজন লোক শিলটোলৈ অৰ্থাৎ দায়ুদ থকা অদুল্লম গুহাৰ ওচৰলৈ নামি গ’ল। তেতিয়া পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ সৈন্যসকলে ৰফায়ীমৰ উপত্যকাত ছাউনি পাতি আছিল।

16 And David was then in the stronghold; and the Philistines' garrison was then at Bethlehem.

১৬সেই সময়ত দায়ুদ তেওঁৰ দুৰ্গৰ এটা গুহাত আছিল, তেতিয়া বৈৎলেহেমত পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ সৈন্যদল প্ৰতিষ্ঠিত আছিল।

17 And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me to drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is in the gate!

১৭দায়ূদে পানীৰ বাবে হেঁপাহ কৰি ক’লে, “যদি কোনো এজন লোক বৈৎলেহেমৰ দুৱাৰৰ ওচৰত থকা নাদৰ পৰা মোক খাবলৈ পানী আনি দিলেহেঁতেন!”

18 And the three broke through the camp of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, which is in the gate, and took it, and brought it to David; David however would not drink of it, but poured it out to Jehovah.

১৮তেতিয়া সেই তিনি জন পৰাক্ৰমী পুৰুষে পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ সৈন্যদল ভেদ কৰি বৈৎলেহেমৰ দুৱাৰৰ ওচৰত থকা নাদৰ কাষলৈ গ’ল, আৰু তাৰ পৰা পানী তুলি লৈ দায়ূদৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল। কিন্তু দায়ূদে তাক পান কৰিবলৈ ইচ্ছা নকৰি যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে ঢালি দিলে।

19 And he said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing! should I drink the blood of these men [who went] at the risk of their lives? for at the risk of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty men.

১৯তেতিয়া তেওঁ ক’লে, “নিশ্চয়ে এয়া মই পান কৰিম নে, এনে কৰ্ম যিহোৱাই মোৰ পৰা নিষেধ কৰক; কিয়নো নিজৰ যে মই নিশ্চয়ে এইটো পান কৰিব লাগে। নিজৰ প্ৰাণৰ ক্ষতি স্বীকাৰ কৰা এই মানুহ কেইজনৰ তেজ মই পান কৰিম নে?” কাৰণ তেওঁলোকে প্ৰাণৰ ক্ষতি স্বীকাৰ কৰি এই পানী তুলি আনি দিছিল। সেয়ে তেওঁ তাক পান কৰিবলৈ অস্বীকাৰ কৰিলে। এই কৰ্ম সেই তিনি জন পৰাক্ৰমী পুৰুষে কৰিছিল।

20 And Abishai the brother of Joab, he was the chief of three; and he brandished his spear against three hundred and slew them; and he had a name among the three.

২০এই তিনি জনৰ মাজত যোৱাবৰ ভায়েক অবীচয় প্ৰধান আছিল; তেওঁ তিনি শ লোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে গৈ নিজৰ যাঠীৰে সিহঁতক বধ কৰিছিল, সেয়ে তিনি জন সৈনিকৰ মাজত তেওঁৰ নাম বাৰে বাৰে উল্লেখিত হৈছিল।

21 Of the three he was more honourable than the two, and he was their captain; but he did not attain to the [first] three.

২১সেই তিনি জনৰ মাজত তেওঁ অধিক মৰ্য্যদাৱন্ত আছিল আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰধান সেনাপতি হৈছিল। তথাপি তেওঁ সেই তিনি জন বিখ্যাত সৈনিকৰ সমান বিখ্যাত হোৱা নাছিল।

22 Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man, great in exploits, of Kabzeel: he it was that smote two lions of Moab; and he went down and smote a lion in the midst of a pit on a snowy day.

২২যিহোয়াদাৰ পুত্ৰ বনায়া এজন বীৰপুৰুষ আছিল, তেওঁ মহৎ কাৰ্য কৰিছিল। তেওঁ মোৱাবীয়া অৰীয়েলৰ দুজন পুত্রক বধ কৰিছিল। তেওঁ হিম পৰাৰ সময়ত গাতৰ ভিতৰলৈ গৈ এটা সিংহকো বধ কৰিছিল।

23 He also smote the Egyptian, a man of stature, five cubits high: and in the Egyptian's hand was a spear like a weaver's beam; and he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear.

২৩ইয়াৰ বাহিৰে তেওঁ পাঁচ হাত ওখ এজন মিচৰীয়াকো বধ কৰিছিল। সেই মিচৰীয়াৰ হাতত তাঁতৰ টোলোঠাৰ সমান এপাত যাঠী আছিল, কিন্তু তেওঁ এডাল লাখুটি লৈ সেই মিচৰীয়াজনৰ ওচৰলৈ নামি গৈছিল আৰু তাৰ হাতৰ পৰা যাঠী পাত কাঢ়ি লৈ, তাৰ যাঠীৰে তাক বধ কৰিছিল।

24 These things did Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he had a name among the three mighty men.

২৪যিহোয়াদাৰ পুত্ৰ বনায়াই এইবোৰ কাৰ্য কৰিছিল, আৰু তেওঁ সেই তিনি জন পৰাক্ৰমী পুৰুষৰ মাজত নাম পাইছিল।

25 Behold, he was honoured above the thirty, but he did not attain to the [first] three. And David set him in his council.

২৫তেওঁ ত্ৰিশ জন সাধাৰণ সৈনিকৰ মাজত অধিক মৰ্য্যদা পাইছিল, তথাপি তেওঁ সেই তিনি জন সৈনিকৰ সমান মৰ্যদ্যা পোৱা নাছিল। তথাপিও দায়ূদে তেওঁক নিজৰ অঙ্গৰক্ষকসকলৰ ওপৰত অধ্যক্ষ পাতিছিল।

26 And the valiant men of the forces were: Asahel the brother of Joab, Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem,

২৬পৰাক্ৰমী বীৰপুৰুষসকলৰ নাম: যোৱাবৰ ভায়েক অচাহেল, বৈৎলেহেমৰ দোদৰ পুত্ৰ ইলহানন,

27 Shammoth the Harorite, Helez the Pelonite,

২৭হৰোৰীয়া চম্মোৎ, পলোনীয়া হেলচ,

28 Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer the Anathothite,

২৮তকোৱায়ীয়া ইক্কেচৰ পুত্ৰ ঈৰা, অনাথোতীয়া অবীয়েজৰ,

29 Sibbechai the Hushathite, Ilai the Ahohite,

২৯হূচাতীয়া চিব্বকয়, অহোহীয়া ঈলয়,

30 Maharai the Netophathite, Heled the son of Baanah the Netophathite,

৩০নটোফাতীয়া মহৰয়, নটোফাতীয়া বানাৰ পুত্ৰ হেলদ,

31 Ittai the son of Ribai of Gibeah of the children of Benjamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite,

৩১বিন্যামীনৰ বংশৰ গিবিয়াৰ ৰীবয়ৰ পুত্ৰ ইথয়, পিৰাথোনীয়া বনায়া,

32 Hurai of the brooks of Gaash, Abiel the Arbathite,

৩২গাচ উপত্যকাৰ হূৰয়, অৰ্বাতীয়া অবীয়েল,

33 Azmaveth the Baharumite, Eliahba the Shaalbonite,

৩৩বহৰূমীয়া অজমাবৎ, চালবোনীয়া ইলিয়হবা,

34 Bene-Hashem the Gizonite, Jonathan the son of Shage the Hararite,

৩৪গিজোনীয়া হাচেমৰ পুত্ৰসকল, হৰাৰীয়া চাগিৰ পুত্ৰ যোনাথন,

35 Ahiam the son of Sacar the Hararite, Eliphal the son of Ur,

৩৫হৰাৰীয়া চাখৰৰ পুত্ৰ অহীয়াম, ঊৰৰ পুত্ৰ ইলীফাল,

36 Hepher the Mecherathite, Ahijah the Pelonite,

৩৬মখেৰাতীয়া হেফৰ, পলোনীয়া অহিয়া,

37 Hezro the Carmelite, Naarai the son of Ezbai,

৩৭কৰ্মিলীয়া হিষ্ৰো, ইজবয়ৰ পুত্ৰ নাৰয়,

38 Joel the brother of Nathan, Mibhar the son of Hagri,

৩৮নাথনৰ ভায়েক যোৱেল, হগ্ৰীৰ পুত্ৰ মিভৰ,

39 Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Berothite, the armour-bearer of Joab the son of Zeruiah,

৩৯অম্মোনীয়া চেলক, চৰূয়াৰ পুত্ৰ যোৱাবৰ অস্ত্ৰবাহক বেৰোতীয়া নহৰয়,

40 Ira the Ithrite, Gareb the Ithrite,

৪০যিত্ৰীয়া ঈৰা, যিত্ৰীয়া গাৰেব,

41 Uriah the Hittite, Zabad the son of Ahlai,

৪১হিত্তীয়া ঊৰিয়া, অহলয়ৰ পুত্ৰ জাবদ,

42 Adina the son of Shiza the Reubenite, a captain of the Reubenites, and thirty with him;

৪২ৰূবেণীয়া চীজাৰ পুত্ৰ ৰূবেণীয়াসকলৰ সেনাপতি অদীনা, আৰু তেওঁৰ লগত ত্ৰিশ জন লোক,

43 Hanan the son of Maachah, and Joshaphat the Mithnite,

৪৩মাখাৰ পুত্ৰ হানন আৰু মিত্নীয়া যোচাফট,

44 Uzzia the Ashtarothite, Shama and Jeiel the sons of Hotham the Aroerite,

৪৪অষ্টাৰোতীয়া উজ্জিয়া, অৰোয়েৰীয়া হোথমৰ দুজন পুত্ৰ চামা আৰু যিয়ীয়েল,

45 Jediael the son of Shimri, and Joha his brother, the Tizite,

৪৫চিম্ৰীৰ পুত্ৰ যিদীয়েল, আৰু তেওঁৰ ভায়েক তীচীয়া যোহা,

46 Eliel of Mahavim, and Jeribai, and Joshaviah, the sons of Elnaam, and Jithmah the Moabite,

৪৬মহবীয়া ইলীয়েল, ইলনামৰ দুজন পুত্ৰ যিৰীবয় আৰু যোচবিয়া, আৰু মোৱাবীয়া যিথমা;

47 Eliel, and Obed, and Jaasiel the Mezobaite.

৪৭ইলীয়েল, ওবেদ, আৰু মচোবায়ীয়া যাচীয়েল।
