< Revelation 12 >
1 And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon was under her feet, and on her head was a crown of twelve stars.
Adda nakaskasdaaw a pagilasinan a nakita sadi langit: Maysa a babai a naikawes kenkuana ti init, ken ti bulan ket adda iti sirok ti sakana; ken adda korona a binukel ti sangapulo ket dua a bituen iti ulona.
2 And being with child, she cried out while giving birth, and she was suffering in order to give birth.
Masikog isuna ken agik-ikkis isuna gapu iti ut-ot ti panagpasikalna—iti rigat ti panaganak.
3 And another sign was seen in heaven. And behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems.
Ket sabali pay a pagilasinan ti nakita sadi langit: Pagammoan, adda dakkel a nalabaga a dragon nga addaan iti pito nga ulo ken sangapulo a sara, ken adda pito a balangat a sibabalangat kadagiti ulona.
4 And his tail drew down a third part of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman, who was about to give birth, so that, when she had brought forth, he might devour her son.
Inwallages ti ipusna ti maikatlo a bituen sadi langit ken impuruakna ida pababa iti daga. Nagtakder ti dragon iti sangoanan ti babai a dandani agpasngay, tapno inton agpasngay isuna, mabalinna nga alun-onen ti anak ti babai.
5 And she brought forth a male child, who was soon to rule all the nations with an iron rod. And her son was taken up to God and to his throne.
Nagpasngay ti babai iti ubing a lalaki, a mangiturayto iti amin a pagilian babaen iti landok a sarukod, iti mabiit. Narabsut ti anakna ken naipan iti Dios ken iti tronona,
6 And the woman fled into solitude, where a place was being held ready by God, so that they might pasture her in that place for one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
ket nagkamang ti babai idiay let-ang, a nangisaganaan ti Dios iti lugar para kenkuana, tapno maaywanan isuna iti las-ud ti 1, 260 nga aldaw.
7 And there was a great battle in heaven. Michael and his Angels were battling with the dragon, and the dragon was fighting, and so were his angels.
Ita, adda gubat sadi langit. Nakiranget ni Miguel ken dagiti anghelna maibusor iti dragon; ket nakirinnupak met ti dragon ken dagiti anghelna.
8 But they did not prevail, and a place for them was no longer found in heaven.
Ngem saan nga immanay ti kinapigsa ti dragon tapno mangabak. Isu nga awanen a pulos ti disso sadi langit a para kenkuana ken kadagiti anghelna.
9 And he was thrown out, that great dragon, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, who seduces the whole world. And he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.
Ti dakkel a dragon—daydi duduugan nga uleg a maaw-awagan iti diablo wenno Satanas a mangal-allilaw iti sangalubongan—ket naitapuak iti daga, ken dagiti anghelna ket naitapuak a kaduana.
10 And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying: “Now have arrived salvation and virtue and the kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers has been cast down, he who accused them before our God day and night.
Ket nakangngegak iti napigsa a timek sadi langit: “Dimtengen ti pannakaisalakan, ti pannakabalin— ken ti pagarian ti Diostayo, ken ti turay ti Cristona. Ta ti mangpabpabasol kadagiti kakabsattayo ket naitapuaken — ti nangpabpabasol kadakuada iti sangoanan ti Diostayo iti aldaw ken rabii.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of his testimony. And they loved not their own lives, even unto death.
Pinarmekda isuna babaen iti dara ti Kordero ken babaen iti sao ti pammaneknekda, ta saanda a kinailalaan dagiti biagda, uray pay matayda.
12 Because of this, rejoice, O heavens, and all who dwell within it. Woe to the earth and to the sea! For the devil has descended to you, holding great anger, knowing that he has little time.”
Isu nga agragsakkayo, dakayo a langlangit, ken amin nga agigian kadakuada. Ngem asi pay ti daga ken ti baybay gapu ta ti diablo ket bimmaba kadakayo. Napnoan isuna iti nakaro a pungtot, gapu ta ammona a bassit laengen ti tiempona.
13 And after the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who brought forth the male child.
Idi naamiris ti dragon a naitapuak isuna iti daga, kinamatna ti babai a nangipasngay iti maladaga a lalaki.
14 And the two wings of a great eagle were given to the woman, so that she might fly away, into the desert, to her place, where she is being nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Ngem naikkan ti babai iti dua a payyak iti dakkel nga agila, tapno mabaelan ti babai a tumayab iti disso a naisagana para kenkuana idiay let-ang, iti disso no sadino ket mataripato isuna iti las-ud ti tallo ket kagudua a tawen ket saan a makadanon ti uleg sadiay.
15 And the serpent sent out from his mouth, after the woman, water like a river, so that he might cause her to be carried away by the river.
Nangipugso ti uleg iti danum a kasla karayan, ta bareng no makaaramid iti layus a mangiyanud iti babai.
16 But the earth assisted the woman. And the earth opened her mouth and absorbed the river, which the dragon sent out from his mouth.
Ngem tinulungan ti daga ti babai. Nagnganga ket inalun-onna ti karayan nga impugso ti dragon.
17 And the dragon was angry at the woman. And so he went away to do battle with the remainder of her offspring, those who keep the commandments of God and who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Narurod ti dragon iti babai ket pimmanaw tapno mapanna gubaten dagiti nabatbati a kaputotan ti babai—isuda dagiti agtultulnog kadagiti bilbilin ti Dios ken agkapkapet iti pammaneknek maipanggep kenni Jesus.
