Psalms 93

1 The Praise of a Canticle, of David himself. In the time before the Sabbath, when the earth was founded. The Lord has reigned. He has been clothed with beauty. The Lord has been clothed with strength, and he has girded himself. Yet he has also confirmed the world, which will not be moved.

Yahvé règne! Il est vêtu de majesté! Yahvé est armé de force. Le monde aussi est établi. Il ne peut pas être déplacé.

2 My throne is prepared from of old. You are from everlasting.

Ton trône est établi depuis longtemps. Vous êtes de toute éternité.

3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves,

Les flots se sont élevés, Yahvé, les inondations ont élevé leur voix. Les inondations soulèvent leurs vagues.

4 before the noise of many waters. Wondrous are the surges of the sea; wondrous is the Lord on high.

Au-dessus des voix des grandes eaux, les puissants brisants de la mer, Yahvé le Grand est puissant.

5 Your testimonies have been made exceedingly trustworthy. Sanctity befits your house, O Lord, with length of days.

Tes statuts sont fermes. La sainteté orne votre maison, Yahvé, pour toujours.
