< Psalms 82 >
1 A Psalm of Asaph. God has stood in the synagogue of gods, but, in their midst, he decides between gods.
Zaburi mar Asaf. Nyasaye osekawo kare e dier chokruok maduongʼ, ongʼado bura e kind “nyiseche.”
2 How long will you judge unjustly and favor the faces of sinners?
Nyaka karangʼo ma ubiro dhi nyime ka udewo wangʼ joma ok timbegi nikare kendo kudewo wangʼ joma timbegi richo? (Sela)
3 Judge for the indigent and the orphan. Do justice to the humble and the poor.
Ngʼaduru bura makare ne joma ok nyal kod nyithi kiye, kendo konyuru joma odhier kod joma ok nyal konyore kendgi.
4 Rescue the poor, and free the needy from the hand of the sinner.
Resuru joma ok nyal kod joma ochando; golgiuru e lwet joma timbegi richo.
5 They did not know and did not understand. They wander in darkness. All the foundations of the earth will be moved.
To gisesiko ka gimemore kendo onge gima gingʼeyo. Giwuotho koni gi koni e mudho; kendo gimiyo mise duto mag piny yiengni.
6 I said: You are gods, and all of you are sons of the Most High.
“Asenyisou ni, ‘Un “nyiseche;” kendo ni un duto un yawuot Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo.’
7 But you will die like men, and you will fall just like one of the princes.
To ubiro tho ka ji ajia; adier ubiro podho mana kaka jatelo moro amora ma ok otangʼ.”
8 Rise up, O God. Judge the earth. For you will inherit it with all the nations.
Aa malo, yaye Nyasaye, ngʼadni piny bura, nimar ogendini duto gin girkeni magi.
