< Psalms 80 >

1 Unto the end. For those who will be changed. The testimony of Asaph. A Psalm. The One who reigns over Israel: Be attentive. For you lead Joseph like a sheep. The One who sits upon the cherubim: Shine forth
Ki he Takimuʻa ʻi he Sosanimi ʻEtuta, ko e Saame ʻa ʻAsafi. Fakafanongo ʻae Tauhi ʻo ʻIsileli, ʻa koe ʻoku ke tataki ʻa Siosefa ʻo hangē ko e fanga sipi; ʻa koe ʻoku ke ʻafio ʻi he vahaʻa ʻoe selupimi, ke ke ulo mai.
2 in the presence of Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh. Awaken your power and draw near, so as to accomplish our salvation.
‌ʻI he ʻao ʻo ʻIfalemi mo Penisimani mo Manase ke ke ueʻi hake ho mālohi, pea hāʻele mai ʻo fakamoʻui ʻakimautolu.
3 Convert us, O God. And reveal your face, and we will be saved.
‌ʻE ʻOtua, ke ke toe fakatafoki ʻakimautolu, pea tuku ke ulo mai ho fofonga; pea te mau moʻui ai.
4 O Lord, God of hosts, how long will you be angry over the prayer of your servant?
‌ʻE Sihova ko e ʻOtua ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ʻe fēfē hono fuoloa mo hoʻo kei houhau ki he lotu ʻa ho kakai?
5 How long will you feed us the bread of tears, and give us to drink a full measure of tears?
‌ʻOku ke fafanga ʻaki ʻakinautolu ʻae mā ʻoe loʻimata; pea ʻoku ʻange kiate kinautolu ʻae loʻimata lahi kenau inu.
6 You have set us as a contradiction to our neighbors. And our enemies have ridiculed us.
‌ʻOku ke ngaohi ʻakimautolu ko e fekeʻikeʻiʻanga ʻo homau kaungāʻapi: pea ʻoku katakata homau ngaahi fili ʻiate kinautolu.
7 O God of hosts, convert us. And reveal your face, and we will be saved.
‌ʻE ʻOtua ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ke ke toe fakatafoki ʻakimautolu, pea tuku ke ulo mai ho fofonga; pea te mau moʻui ai.
8 You have transferred a vineyard from Egypt. You have cast out the Gentiles, and planted it.
Naʻa ke lī kituʻa ʻae hiteni; ka naʻa ke ʻomi ʻae vaine mei ʻIsipite, ʻo tō ia.
9 You were the leader of the journey in its sight. You planted its roots, and it filled the earth.
Naʻa ke fakaʻataʻatā [ʻae potu ]ʻi hono ʻao, pea naʻa ke fakaaka māʻulalo ia, pea naʻa ne fakapito ʻae fonua.
10 Its shadow covered the hills, and its branches covered the cedars of God.
Naʻe ʻufiʻufi ʻae ngaahi moʻunga ʻi hono malumalu, pea ko hono ngaahi vaʻa naʻe hangē ko e ngaahi sita ʻae ʻOtua.
11 It extended its new branches even to the sea, and its new seedlings even to the river.
Naʻa ne tuku atu hono ngaahi vaʻa ki he tahi, mo hono ngaahi ʻuluʻulu ki he vaitafe.
12 So then, why have you destroyed its walls, so that all those who pass by the way gather its grapes?
Ko e hā kuo ke hae hifo ai hono ngaahi ʻā, ke toli ia ʻekinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku ʻalu atu ʻi he hala?
13 The wild boar of the forest has trampled it, and a single wild beast has laid waste to it.
‌ʻOku maumauʻi ia ʻe he puaka tau mei he vao, ʻoku kai ke ʻosi ia ʻe he fanga manu kaivao.
14 Turn back, O God of hosts. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vineyard;
‌ʻE ʻOtua ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ʻoku mau kole kiate koe ke ke foki mai: ʻafio hifo mei he langi, ʻo vakai, mo ʻaʻahi ki he vaine ni;
15 and complete what your right hand has planted, and look upon the son of man, whom you have confirmed for yourself.
Mo e ngoue vaine ʻaia kuo tō ʻe ho nima toʻomataʻu, mo e vaʻa ʻaia naʻa ke ngaohi ke mālohi maʻau.
16 Whatever has been set on fire and dug under will perish at the rebuke of your countenance.
Kuo tutu ia ʻaki ʻae afi, kuo tā hifo ia: kuo nau ʻauha ʻi he tautea ʻe ho fofonga.
17 Let your hand be over the man on your right, and over the son of man, whom you have confirmed for yourself.
Tuku ke hili ho nima ki he tangata ʻo ho nima toʻomataʻu, ki he foha ʻoe tangata ʻaia naʻa ke fakamālohi maʻau.
18 For we do not depart from you, and you will revive us. And we will invoke your name.
Pea ʻe ʻikai ai te mau foki kimui meiate koe: ke ke fakaakeake ʻakimautolu, pea temau ui ki ho huafa.
19 O Lord, God of hosts, convert us. And reveal your face, and we will be saved.
‌ʻE Sihova ko e ʻOtua ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ke ke toe fakatafoki ʻakimautolu, pea tuku ke ulo mai ho fofonga; pea temau moʻui ai.
