< Psalms 77 >

1 Unto the end. For Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph. I cried out to the Lord with my voice, to God with my voice, and he attended to me.
Fún adarí orin. Fún Jedutuni. Ti Asafu. Saamu. Mó kígbe sí Ọlọ́run fún ìrànlọ́wọ́; mo kígbe sí Ọlọ́run láti gbọ́ tèmi.
2 In the days of my tribulation, I sought God, with my hands opposite him in the night, and I was not deceived. My soul refused to be consoled.
Nígbà tí mo wà nínú ìpọ́njú, mo wá Olúwa; ní òru ni mo na ọwọ́ mi jáde ní àìkáárẹ̀ ọkàn mí sì kọ̀ láti tù ú nínú.
3 I was mindful of God, and I was delighted, and I was distressed, and my spirit fell away.
Èmi rántí rẹ, Ọlọ́run, mo sì kẹ́dùn; mo ṣe àròyé, ẹ̀mí mi sì rẹ̀wẹ̀sì. (Sela)
4 My eyes anticipated the vigils. I was disturbed, and I did not speak.
Ìwọ kò fẹ́ kí èmi fi ojú ba oorun, mo dààmú tó bẹ́ẹ̀ tí ń kò le sọ̀rọ̀.
5 I considered the days of antiquity, and I held the years of eternity in my mind.
Mo ronú nípa ọjọ́ ìgbàanì; ọdún pípẹ́ sẹ́yìn;
6 And I meditated in the night with my heart, and I was distressed, and I examined my spirit.
mo rántí orin mi ní òru. Èmi ń bá àyà mi sọ̀rọ̀, ọkàn mi sì ń ṣe àwárí jọjọ.
7 So then, will God reject for eternity? Will he not continue to allow himself to show favor?
“Olúwa yóò ha kọ̀ títí láé? Ki yóò ha ṣe ojúrere rẹ̀ mọ́?
8 Or, will he cut off his mercy in the end, from generation to generation?
Ṣe ìfẹ́ rẹ̀ àti àánú rẹ̀ ti kú lọ láéláé? Ìlérí rẹ̀ ha kùnà títí ayé?
9 And would God ever forget to be merciful? Or, would he, in his wrath, restrict his mercies?
Ọlọ́run ha gbàgbé láti máa ṣàánú? Ní ìbínú rẹ̀, ó ha sé ojúrere rẹ̀ mọ́?” (Sela)
10 And I said, “Now I have begun. This change is from the right hand of the Most High.”
Èmi wí pé, “Èyí ní ẹ̀dùn ọkàn mi, pé ọwọ́ ọ̀tún Ọ̀gá-ògo jùlọ ti yípadà”.
11 I was mindful of the works of the Lord. For I will be mindful from the beginning of your wonders,
Èmi ó rántí iṣẹ́ Olúwa: bẹ́ẹ̀ ni, èmi ó rántí iṣẹ́ ìyanu rẹ̀ ọjọ́ pípẹ́.
12 and I will meditate on all your works. And I will take part in your intentions.
Èmi ṣàṣàrò lórí iṣẹ́ rẹ gbogbo, pẹ̀lú, ènìyàn sì máa sọ̀rọ̀ gbogbo iṣẹ́ agbára rẹ.
13 Your way, O God, is in what is holy. Which God is great like our God?
Ọlọ́run, ọ̀nà rẹ jẹ́ mímọ́. Ọlọ́run wo ni ó sì tóbi bí Ọlọ́run wa?
14 You are the God who performs miracles. You have made your virtue known among the peoples.
Ìwọ ni Ọlọ́run tó ń ṣe ìyanu; ìwọ fi agbára rẹ hàn nínú àwọn ènìyàn.
15 With your arm, you have redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and of Joseph.
Pẹ̀lú ọwọ́ agbára rẹ ni ìwọ ra àwọn ènìyàn padà, àwọn ọmọ Jakọbu àti Josẹfu. (Sela)
16 The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you, and they were afraid, and the depths were stirred up.
Nígbà tí àwọn omi rí Ọlọ́run, nígbà tí àwọn omi rí ọ, ẹ̀rù bà wọ́n, nítòótọ́ ara ibú kò balẹ̀.
17 Great was the sound of the waters. The clouds uttered a voice. For your arrows also pass by.
Àwọn ojú ọ̀run tú omi sílẹ̀, àwọsánmọ̀ fi àrá dáhùn; ọfà rẹ̀ ń tàn sẹ́yìn àti síwájú.
18 The voice of your thunder is like a wheel. Your flashes have illuminated the whole world. The earth has quaked and trembled.
Àrá rẹ̀ ni a gbọ́ nínú ìjì, ìmọ́lẹ̀ rẹ̀ mọ́lẹ̀ sí gbogbo ayé; ayé bẹ̀rù, wọ́n sì wárìrì.
19 Your way is through the sea, and your paths are through many waters. And your traces will not be known.
Ipa rẹ̀ gba Òkun, ọ̀nà rẹ̀ ń bẹ nínú Òkun, ọ̀nà la omi alágbára kọjá ipa rẹ̀ ń bẹ nínú líla omi alágbára kọjá, nítòótọ́ a kò rí ojú ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀.
20 You have conducted your people like sheep, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Ó tọ́ àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọ̀wọ́ ẹran nípa ọwọ́ Mose àti Aaroni.
