Psalms 77
1 Unto the end. For Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph. I cried out to the Lord with my voice, to God with my voice, and he attended to me.
| برای سالار مغنیان بر یدوتون. مزمور آساف آواز من بسوی خداست و فریادمی کنم. آواز من بسوی خداست گوش خود را به من فرا خواهد گرفت. | ۱ |
2 In the days of my tribulation, I sought God, with my hands opposite him in the night, and I was not deceived. My soul refused to be consoled.
| در روز تنگی خود خداوند را طلب کردم. در شب، دست من دراز شده، بازکشیده نگشت و جان من تسلی نپذیرفت. | ۲ |
3 I was mindful of God, and I was delighted, and I was distressed, and my spirit fell away.
| خدا را یاد می‌کنم و پریشان می‌شوم. تفکر می‌نمایم و روح من متحیر می‌گردد، سلاه. | ۳ |
4 My eyes anticipated the vigils. I was disturbed, and I did not speak.
| چشمانم را بیدار می‌داشتی. بی‌تاب می‌شدم وسخن نمی توانستم گفت. | ۴ |
5 I considered the days of antiquity, and I held the years of eternity in my mind.
| درباره ایام قدیم تفکرکرده‌ام. درباره سالهای زمانهای سلف. | ۵ |
6 And I meditated in the night with my heart, and I was distressed, and I examined my spirit.
| سرودشبانه خود را بخاطر می‌آورم و در دل خود تفکرمی کنم و روح من تفتیش نموده است. | ۶ |
7 So then, will God reject for eternity? Will he not continue to allow himself to show favor?
| مگر خداتا به ابد ترک خواهد کرد و دیگر هرگز راضی نخواهد شد. | ۷ |
8 Or, will he cut off his mercy in the end, from generation to generation?
| آیا رحمت او تا به ابد زایل شده است؟ و قول او باطل گردیده تا ابدالاباد؟ | ۸ |
9 And would God ever forget to be merciful? Or, would he, in his wrath, restrict his mercies?
| آیاخدا رافت را فراموش کرده؟ و رحمت های خودرا در غضب مسدود ساخته است؟ سلاه. | ۹ |
10 And I said, “Now I have begun. This change is from the right hand of the Most High.”
| پس گفتم این ضعف من است. زهی سالهای دست راست حضرت اعلی! | ۱۰ |
11 I was mindful of the works of the Lord. For I will be mindful from the beginning of your wonders,
| کارهای خداوند را ذکرخواهم نمود زیرا کار عجیب تو را که از قدیم است به یاد خواهم آورد. | ۱۱ |
12 and I will meditate on all your works. And I will take part in your intentions.
| و در جمیع کارهای تو تامل خواهم کرد و در صنعتهای تو تفکرخواهم نمود. | ۱۲ |
13 Your way, O God, is in what is holy. Which God is great like our God?
| ای خدا، طریق تو در قدوسیت است. کیست خدای بزرگ مثل خدا؟ | ۱۳ |
14 You are the God who performs miracles. You have made your virtue known among the peoples.
| تو خدایی هستی که کارهای عجیب می‌کنی و قوت خویش را بر قوم‌ها معروف گردانیده‌ای. | ۱۴ |
15 With your arm, you have redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and of Joseph.
| قوم خود را به بازوی خویش رهانیده‌ای یعنی بنی یعقوب وبنی یوسف را. سلاه. | ۱۵ |
16 The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you, and they were afraid, and the depths were stirred up.
| آبها تو را دید، ای خداآبها تو را دیده، متزلزل شد. لجه‌ها نیز سخت مضطرب گردید. | ۱۶ |
17 Great was the sound of the waters. The clouds uttered a voice. For your arrows also pass by.
| ابرها آب بریخت و افلاک رعد بداد. تیرهای تو نیز به هر طرف روان گردید. | ۱۷ |
18 The voice of your thunder is like a wheel. Your flashes have illuminated the whole world. The earth has quaked and trembled.
| صدای رعد تو در گردباد بود و برقها ربع مسکون را روشن کرد. پس زمین مرتعش و متزلزل گردید. | ۱۸ |
19 Your way is through the sea, and your paths are through many waters. And your traces will not be known.
| طریق تو در دریاست و راههای تو درآبهای فراوان و آثار تو را نتوان دانست. | ۱۹ |
20 You have conducted your people like sheep, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
| قوم خود را مثل گوسفندان راهنمایی نمودی، به‌دست موسی و هارون. | ۲۰ |
