< Psalms 59 >
1 Unto the end. May you not destroy. Of David, with the inscription of a title, when Saul sent and watched his house, in order to execute him. Rescue me from my enemies, my God, and free me from those who rise up against me.
David ƒe nufiameha na hɛnɔ la. Woadzii ɖe “Mègagblẽ nu o” ƒe gbeɖiɖi nu. Ekpa ha sia esi Saul dɔ amewo be woadzɔ eƒe aƒe ŋu, eye ne edo go la, woawui. O! Mawu, ɖem tso nye futɔwo ƒe asi me; kpɔ tanye le ame siwo tso ɖe ŋutinye la ta.
2 Rescue me from those who work iniquity, and save me from men of blood.
Ɖem tso nu vlo wɔlawo ƒe asi me eye nàxɔm tso hlɔ̃dolawo ƒe asi me.
3 For behold, they have seized my soul. The strong have rushed upon me.
Kpɔ ale si wode xa ɖi nam lae ɖa! Ame nyanyrawo ɖo nugbe ɖe ŋunye, evɔ la, O Yehowa, nyemedze agɔ, alo wɔ nu vɔ̃ aɖeke o.
4 And it is neither my iniquity, nor my sin, O Lord. I have run and gone directly, without iniquity.
Nyemeda vo aɖeke o, evɔ wole klalo be woadze dzinye. Tso, nàxɔ nam; kpɔ xaxa si me mele la ɖa!
5 Rise up to meet me, and see: even you, O Lord, the God of hosts, the God of Israel. Reach out to visit all nations. Do not take pity on all those who work iniquity.
O! Yehowa, Mawu Ŋusẽkatãtɔ, Israel ƒe Mawu, nyɔ nàhe to na dukɔwo, mègakpɔ nublanui na ametatrɔla vɔ̃ɖi siawo o. (Sela)
6 They will return toward evening, and they will suffer hunger like dogs, and they will wander around the city.
Wotrɔ gbɔ le fiẽ me le gbe tem abe avuwo ene, eye wole tsaglãla tsam le dua me.
7 Behold, they will speak with their mouth, and a sword is in their lips: “For who has heard us?”
Kpɔ nu si wotu tso woƒe nu me la ɖa, wotu nyawo tso woƒe nuyiwo me le gbɔgblɔm be, “Ame ka ate ŋu aɖo to mí?”
8 And you, O Lord, will laugh at them. You will lead all the Gentiles to nothing.
O! Yehowa, wò koe le wo kom, èɖe alɔme le dukɔ mawo katã ŋu.
9 I will guard my strength toward you, for you are God, my supporter.
O! Nye ŋusẽ, mele nuwò kpɔm. O! Mawu, wòe nye nye mɔ sesẽ,
10 My God, his mercy will precede me.
nye Mawu lɔlɔ̃tɔ. Mawu adze ŋgɔ nam, eye ana makpɔ dziɖuɖu ƒe dzidzɔ ɖe nye ketɔwo dzi.
11 God will oversee my enemies for me. Do not slay them, lest at times my people may forget them. Scatter them by your virtue. And depose them, O Lord, my protector,
Gake mègawu wo o, O! Aƒetɔ, míaƒe akpoxɔnu, ne menye nenema o la, nye amewo aŋlɔ be. Le wò ŋusẽ me, na woatsa tsaglãla, eye nàhe wo aƒu anyi.
12 by the offense of their mouth and by the speech of their lips. And may they be caught in their arrogance. And, for their cursing and lying, they will be made known
Nya sia nya si doa le wo nu la nye nu vɔ̃, woƒe dada nazu abe mɔ ene aɖe wo, Le fiƒodenya kple alakpanya siwo wogblɔ ta la,
13 at the consummation, in the fury of the consummation, and so they will be no more. And they will know that God will rule over Jacob, even to the ends of the earth.
fia wo kple dziku, fia wo va se ɖe esime womaganɔ anyi o. Ekema woanya va se ɖe anyigba la ƒe mlɔenu ke, be Mawue nye fia ɖe Yakob dzi. (Sela)
14 They will return toward evening, and they will suffer hunger like dogs, and they will wander around the city.
Wotrɔ gbɔ le fiẽ me, le gbe tem abe avuwo ene, eye wole tsaglãla tsam le dua me.
15 They will be dispersed in order to gnaw, and truly, when they will not have been satisfied, they will murmur.
Wole tsatsam le nuɖuɖu dim, eye ne womeɖi ƒo o la, wonɔa wòwóm.
16 But I will sing your strength, and I will extol your mercy, in the morning. For you have been my supporter and my refuge in the day of my tribulation.
Ke nye la, madzi wò ŋusẽ ƒe ha, eye le ŋdi me la, madzi ha le wò lɔlɔ̃ ŋuti, elabena wòe nye nye mɔ sesẽ, kple nye sitsoƒe le xaxaɣiwo.
17 To you, my helper, I will sing psalms. For you are God, my supporter. My God is my mercy.
O! Nye ŋusẽ, mele kafukafuha dzim na wò. O! Mawu, wòe nye nye mɔ sesẽ kple nye Mawu si dzi meka ɖo.
